More than perfect holiday

Great location, perfect cleanliness and wonderful, helpful owners. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you may need during your vacation. The town is charming and a great base for exploring the island. You will also be happy if you plan a quiet holiday by the beach. 10/Be sure to try the cookies from the confectionery shop downstairs. It is not without reason that they are known all over the island.

Überragende Unterkunft

Sehr modern gestaltet, tolles Badezimmer. Große Terrasse mit Grill und Sitz Möglichkeiten. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls verfügbar und sehr praktisch, wenn man mit wenig Kleidung reist. Insgesamt einfach super!

Very nice and relaxing stay

It was very clean and well equipped, free parking on the street. We could sleep every night very well it was very quiet! We would definitely come back

The terrace was shared so there was not too many option for privacy in that area, and there have been lot of families with children in the other apartments

Emerald green

This is a gem in the emerald green San Miquel island in the Azores. We had a wonderful time. The ocean is roaring just outside of the house. Great terrace outside. The staff take very good care of everything. I recommend it.

Charming and perfect location

The apartment is very well equipped. The hosts are lovely and helpful. It's great that they have a washing machine and tumble dryer available for the guests! The location is ideal in Villa Franca.

Being on top of the queijaria, you get the smell of the queijadas while baking. Although not a problem for me at all and I actually liked the smell, some people can be sensitive to it.

Clean apartment next to the beach

Apartment was very clean, the bathroom was super spacious, the place had everything we needed, and the location couldn't be better - just a few steps away from the beach and right on top of the best pastry shop and cafè in town. Would stay again for sure.

Everything was great, it was just a bit confusing as it was written that the apartment will have an outside space, but it belonged to another apartment in the same building.

We were really lucky. Place is close to the marines, where you can take a whale watching trip, and beach. The apartment was perfect for two. We had everything we need and even more. Totally satisfied.

Perfect base for ocean activities

Perfect localization for all ocean based activities around Villa Franca do Campo and exploring of middle/south/east side of the island. Big size, fully equipped apartment with ocean view overlooking a quiet marina. A sandy beach and beach bars are just 100 meters away. Very nice and helpful hosts. Apartment situated above a famous local bakery, a must to try their cakes!

Superb

Very accommodating staff! Very clean and well-equipped (with air conditioning and free laundry, too!) Great location within walking distance of mini/supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, excursions departing from the marina, and Vinha d’Areia beach. Convenient highway access as well (a car is a must!). Property also has screened, sliding doors in the front and back of the apartment: in the front, there is a balcony that overlooks the marina and in the back, there is a rooftop terrace equipped with barbecue area, seating and clotheslines.

The beds were very hard, so it might take a few days to get used to them. Additionally, the large bed is comprised of 2 single mattresses on 1 frame: the mattresses would often shift during the night, forcing them to separate a create a gap between them. Occasionally, there is a slight sewer smell in the bathroom (likely due to the summer humidity coming from drain in shower); however, this problem can be easily contained by simply keeping the bathroom door shut. The living room in the Terra apartment has a sofa bed, so if you are traveling with children and they are sleeping, you lose most use of the living room/kitchen area. Additionally, since there is no air conditioning in this portion of the apartment, leaving the bedroom door open is a must.

Very friendly owner Rita. Location near the harbour. A lot of space.

Sometimes smell in the bathroom. No shade on the common outdoor roof terrace.
