About this villa rental

Newly built all level modern coastal villa with one queen size room and one king size room which can be converted to two long single beds to suit needs. One large bathroom and kitchen contains everything for self catering. Laundry facilities include washing machine and dryer. Property includes a private bbq paved and grass area. Lock up single garage with internal access.

Quiet position, perfect for couples. Shelly beach has brand new amenities including free bbqs and a choice of beautiful picnic table areas. There is both a Rockpool swimming area perfect for families and snorkeling as well as a large (unpatrolled) surf beach. Shelly beach joins Port Macquaries picturesque coastal walk, just follow the signs and beautiful pathways either south or north. Both directions provide spectacular scenery, historic sights, lookouts where whales can be seen between the months of July through to October.

3mins walk to local general store and pharmacy. 5min walk to Sea Acres National park Rainforest Visitor centre where the adjoining rainforest cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. 4.7km 8min to Port Macquarie town centre. 9.3 km or 13 min drive to airport.

Local activities aside from relaxing and swimming on the beach include scenic river boat cruise, whale watching tour, kayaking, fishing, sea plane, camel rides depending on your level for adventure. Local produce at various markets, coffee, wineries and eating places will satisfy the gourmet traveller.

We had such a wonderful stay at Jill's property. She was excellent to deal with. The house was perfect. It had everything you would and even more. A lot of thought has gone into making sure you feel at home. The location was great, a short walk to Shelly Beach and a short drive into the town centre. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Refresh. Close to the beach, very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The host was a pleasure to deal with and very friendly. Will definitely stay here next time we visit Port Mac.

The property was as I expected or better. It was clean and felt well looked after. Everything was working and in good condition. The host left nice treats for us on arrival and responded quickly to messages. The location was quiet and we really enjoyed our short walk to the beach for a morning swim. I recommend staying here.

This accommodation was lovely. Very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Location was in a nice quiet neighbourhood within a short walk to the beautiful Shelley Beach and Rainforest boardwalk and cafe. Would highly recommend this rental. Thank you Jill also for the complementary Chocolates and bottle of wine.

We recently spent a week in Port Macquarie doing a photography course. The location of Refresh was perfect for our stay. We loved it's location near Shelly Beach and Sea Acres. It was an easy drive to town and Lighthouse Beach. The townhouse was beautifully presented and comfortable. Jill communicated in a timely manner and made the whole process very easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Modern accommodation with all the creature comforts. If you are a family four (or less) with non-adult children you'll find this place just the right size. Less than 500 m to the beach and just 5 min drive to town gives just the right blend of seclusion and accessibility.

This cosy coastal inspired villa is well situated close to the beautiful Shelly Beach and just minutes away from all that Port Macquarie has to offer. The place has just about everything you need to enjoy your stay and is an ideal choice for couples or close family. Our host kindly left a few special treats to help us celebrate over Christmas and for this we were very appreciative. We were looking forward to enjoying a daily treat from Asty’s but sadly it was closed for all but the first evening of our stay. Couldn’t be helped…so we will just have to stay again at a time other than Christmas.

Furnishings are most comfortable with every attention to detail. North facing and lovely courtyard. Well done Jill and your husband who also helped us out of a gig problem created by ourselves!! Will recommend to Sydney friends.

We had a lovely time, here for 6nights. Beaches were close by, with a small store/servo and (very popular) fish and chip shop within 200m. The villa was well presented, nicely decorated and had everything we needed including a nice outdoor area. Overall a very nice place for a small group to stay at.

The only thing that could have improved our stay is if Jill could have arranged for more sunshine! What a wonderful little villa, so comfortable, nothing hasn’t been thought of! Would love to return to stay again!

Refresh @ Shelly Beach is a truly beautiful property. Every part of the booking process was seamless and the property was beautifully styled and prepared for our stay. It had everything we needed for comfort, including a well equipped kitchen. Jill was warm and friendly and provided an exceptional experience. The property is a short walk to beautiful Shelly Beach. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Jill was a lovely host and left us little touches of Christmas for our stay. Not to mention the little gifts of wine, coffee and chocolate to welcome us into her home. The house was conveniently located at the end of a cul de sac right next to Sea Acres Rainforest. We only wished we could've extended the trip and had a little less rain but it was lovely nonetheless! We'll be sure to come back.
