Lovely stay at Creek cottage. Wells next the sea.
Lovely stay at Creek cottage, amazing weather and prize position. The view from the bedroom excellent. We had an excellent week.
With the good weather came a few ants, vinegar kept them at bay, and the office staff responded immediately as they were informed, sending someone out with ant powder. Thank you.
We always Hoover to keep the cottage clean, but found that the hoover wasn’t picking up.
Thank you for the lovely treats on arrival, it was much appreciated . We will definitely be back. You have a jewel in the crown with this cottage. Thank you.

Well appointed cottage in good location
Creek Cottage was warm, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean and had a good view from the main bedroom of the interesting tidal variations. It was an excellent base for exploring the coast and countryside as well as other villages, both on foot and in the car. The Poppy Line steam railway and the city of Norwich were also within easy reach. Finding good value places to eat out was a bit of a challenge but there might be more choice in the warmer months.

October holiday
Lovely place to stay with great views of the sea, handy for town and harbour step out of the door and your on the sea front.
Comfortable furnishings upstairs and downstairs with plenty of decent cutlery (could do with a knife sharpener) and equipment in the kitchen. Its on the main road through the town so expect noise from traffic and fishing boats unloading opposite.
Only downside is the parking space is limited to small cars.
Hopefully be staying here again in the future

A short break in Wells
Wonderful sea views. Quite a lot of noise from traffic, but only during the day. Showers/plumbing need some attention, eg sink plugs do not fit, and difficult to control temperature of showers.

Marvellous location and facilities
Great location and the cottage had obviously been well thought through and designed as we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Great having 2 bathrooms in such a relatively small place. Watching your head on the low beams was all part of the charm. Parking was very tight though, even for our very small vehicle.

A lovely cottage in an excellent situation
We had a great week. Lovely to see water birds and boats from the windows and hear the busy fisherman. Made extra special by sunshine.

Lovely cottage in a great location
We stayed for a weekend in mid May. Creek cottage is comfortable, clean, very well equipped and in a brilliant location right in the centre of Wells over looking the harbour. The view across the Quay from the main bedroom is really nice with the two chairs by the Juliet balcony providing a great place to have a tea or coffee in morning. It was lovely to be able to just walk out of the cottage and along the Quay in the evening when Wells was quiet.
The cottage description does mention the winder staircase from sitting room to upstairs. It is steep and twisting and needs care when using. Having parking space in Wells is a bonus although the garage is quite narrow. We did find an alternative free place to park in Northfield Lane but parking I suspect might be difficult during the peak season.

A Great Holiday Location
A very pleasant, comfortable and warm cottage, with lovely view of the harbour. Convenient location for local shops and walks directly from the cottage along the coast.

Room with a view
We particularly wanted to see the water from our holiday cottage and chose Creek Cottage for this reason. It didn't disappoint, with stunning views from the kitchen and master bedroom. We had such a warm welcome when we arrived on a cold December day, the cottage was so cosy with the added bonus of a spectacular Christmas tree, such a lovely gesture! Talking of bonuses we didn't expect the lovely welcome tray with essentials and a couple of treats, so thoughtful. The cottage was spotlessly clean with all mod cons, everything you could wish for was provided. It is well placed for all the shops and restaurants, only a short walk to everything. The only criticism is the parking facilities. It's stated that a small car can get into the garage with the possibility of leaving the door up (so you don't have to drive in all the way and don't block the pavement). We only have a little Focus but couldn't get into the garage without serious risk of damaging it. To necessitate getting out of the car it would mean backing in on a very dangerous corner and we didn't want to risk this coupled with the very real possibility of scraping the paintwork. We had to park elsewhere, an informal agreement with the owner of one of the shops to use his parking for a small fee. I suggest a long term solution is found as it must be a nightmare in the higher seasons.

Creek by name......
But in truth the cottage should be called ‘Creak Cottage’ as the floorboards upstairs caused much hilarity to those sitting downstairs
A wonderful location with shops, restaurants & all amenities within a 5minute walk of the cottage
Stunning view from the double bedded room too
We all enjoyed a very comfortable & relaxing break at the cottage & would certainly recommend to others wishing to explore this part of the north Norfolk coast

We enjoyed our time here
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and in an excellent location. Wonderful views and Wells is such a lovely place. We had a very minor issue with the smoke alarm which was resolved immediately.
I will definitely be returning to Wells. The only thing that would stop me from going back to Creek Cottage is the fact that beds are very uncomfortable. I think some money spent on new mattresses would be well worth it. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Delightful Creek Cottage
Easy booking and communication with clear instructions. Cottage is so comfy and nicely modernised while keeping character. Well equipped and lovely location and views. Wells has lots going on with the boats to watch and wander round. Two great fish and chip shops, and Wells Crab House food was delicious. Good base to travel round north norfolk coast sightseeing and visiting family. Managed to park nose of car into open garage and clear the pavement so that was a bonus! A most enjoyable stay especially as the weather was amazing ☀️!
