Maybe we weren’t the right crowd for this resort. I can’t come up with anything positive to say.
Overpriced food at the restaurant. Imagine getting charged 615 pesos for a small bowl of chicken tikka masala. The food was not even delicious and staff told us it that the dish was good for 2-3 people. Absolutely not true. We had our laundry done and they misplaced one garment and another had mud stains on it. The pool doesn’t look inviting in real life. The surroundings aren’t well maintained (there’s trash on the ground). We were discouraged to give tips unless it’s 500 PHP or more (because they wanted to split it for the entire staff, and I bet the house wants a portion, too). I can’t show appreciation for one staff member, I have to reward everyone even if they didn’t do anything exceptional. I don’t understand this rule. The bathrooms are old and could use renovation. The beds are horrible — the mattress is hard and even a slight turn would make the bed creak loudly. They put mats that slip and slide on the floor, it’s like an accident waiting to happen. Ultimately, this location is overpriced and disappointing.

Location and smiling staff, nice diving place ! The rooms with sea view even a little small are very nice !
Quite expensive for the price, room and restaurant . This place is definitely for foreigners.
Also the price for the diving is quite expensive if you compare for other places in Philippines, around 2300 pesos for dive + materials for the each dive.

The room was very clean and it had a big comfy bed, the surroundings were great with a nice pool (also for diving excercises), a little chill-hut, a nice bar overlooking the seaside. I was the only guest at times and the staff was so kind, caring and lovely. The kitchen was excellent, I had a lot of different meals and all of them were very tasty. Its in a quiet location, no noise from the road, and close to all divesites around. The diving masters were great, very helpful, spotted the nice stuff and relaxed. Also the boat-crew was super helpful, I did not have to carry anything gear to the boat, they insisted on doing that. Even when i was on my own they took me to very nice dive sites and also far away ones.
The shower def needs a refesh, besides the missing warm water (that cannot always be expected but its hot so not such a big deal) the tabs need an update and the mold needs to be dealt with. All rooms had a lovely view except mine, I just saw a roof :(

Amazing first dive resort experience, great Tagalog & English-speaking staff who are helpful and kind, good food cooked in-house and pretty varied menu (pizza, pasta, burgers, filipino foods, salad), clean facility with comfortable rooms and a large solid bed. Quieter on the weekdays but has a good dive crowd on the weekends! BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS on their beach - literally steps from your room!
Plusses for me that I enjoyed:
- free filtered water at the bar
- fastest WiFi I’ve had in the Philippines!
PADI 5 star indeed!
- organized dives
- in house Divemasters on site
- Aqualung equipment is clean and useable
- great people from all kinds of locations to meet diving
Showers can be upgraded, but still fully functional; no hot water. We all know seawater damages

Very quiet during the week, the staff is super friendly, the wifi is very good
Small resort, easily gets crowded and loud in the weekend, no real place to chill. The neighboring resorts on either side of the property are built so close you can see and hear what's going on on the other side. The dive shop is a bit of a mess, morning preparation is really slow if there's more than 1 group of divers.
The food is quite pricey for what you get, limited vegetarian options.
Overall for the price there are probably better options

Waterfront location, PADI 5*, excellent for diving adventures. The diving staff is knowledgable of the area, and willing to take you nice places. Food is great, and superb sunset view from the terrace.

The view is stunning, few rooms so few guests, the staff are accommodating but tend to get busy when attending to divers. The house reef is gorgeous but beware of the corals because they are present at the low sea level
Food a bit pricey. The coffee is tasteless and disappointing since Batangas is known for barako coffee. The towels are not washed well in the laundry machine as there a lot of fibers which stuck to our hair, body when we wiped after shower. A help from staff to carry the bags/ things to go up the road would be nice as the resort is located downhill. Also, it would be nice also to have a guide for those who can just do snorkling, and not diving. The lifevest needs to be replaced with better quality.

Very friendly staff, always ready to answer questions and assist with a smile. Dang helped me with my PADI reactivation and he was patient in guiding me through the dive. Although the structure isn't new, it is well maintained. My room has the best view of the ocean, and was spic and span. Food is in large servings which may be too much for a solo traveler. Overall a great experience, will definitely come back and recommend to my friends!
