Best rental in Cedar City! I have stayed here many times. Perfect location, directly across from Utah Shakespeare Festival and easy walk to the historic downtown area! Fun stores there! And for the best macarons on the planet, go left out of front up to main street, turn right to Strafford hotel and look for the French Spot! They sell the macarons at the Festival too, but bit cheaper there.
Very clean & cozy! Sherie is a delight to work with!

We loved being across the street from the festival grounds. It made our stay so much easier. How lovely to walk to your place in the time that it takes the rest of the audience to walk to their cars. And the apartment is comfortably furnished, clean, and modern. We love coming back here for our annual Shakespeare trip.

We've stayed here a few times. The location is convenient, the basement apartment stays comfortably cool in the summer, and it's nice and quiet. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!

We were in Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival. A more convenient location would be impossible. The apartment was comfortable, roomy, good amenities. Communication with the host was easy. It was a great stay, which we definitely intend to repeat.

It’s a great location for USF. Directly across the street from the theaters and museum. One block from the Main Street and eateries, coffee, yoga. The rental itself is a trifecta: nice and clean and quiet. Photos are accurate.

Clean accommodation. Excellent location. This is a great spot if you are in cedar and need a clean and central place to stay.

Clean stay- the location was clean and very accommodating.
The location was a great little spot- walking distance to coffee in the morning and great dinner spots to end the night.

My stay with my husband and adult daughter enjoyed beautiful location for my daughter's dance competition. It was so conveniently located for my husband and I to walk back and forth from the apartment to her venue during performances breaks. It was conveniently located to shops downtown that it made it fun to go shopping, resting, and discovering a wine taste place across the street.
The inside was lovely. the reviewes I read were accurate about the small bathroom and shower. And the small space for teh kitchen as well. This help prepare me for what I would be dealing with. Regardless I feel I will be booking this space again.
the host sent me a lovely explanation about what was available in Cedar city with food options. It was nice to fee that if I needed anything she would be available if needed.
If you would like a place with room to socialize in the from room it is ideal. If you want your own space for a room...extra bonus. With having a 20 year old needing to get ready for performances this was good. I was also celebrating my anniversary that weekend and feeling that I had my own space made the experience even nicer.

We stayed for three nights and it was the perfect home base for our Utah adventures. Would definitely stand there again!!!

My 2nd stay here, will come again. Great neighborhood, close to everything in Cedar.

Situated downtown, it’s walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and a cute old fashioned candy/ice cream shop.
The beds were very comfortable and the space was larger than expected. As it states in the listing, it is below an attorney’s office so there is some noise but only during business hours and only during the week.
Overall we had a great stay and there was no issue with Wi-Fi, thermostat, or checking in or out. It’s perfect for a few day stay, only because it doesn’t have a washer or dryer, but come prepared and you’re good to go!
Sherie responded promptly and made us feel very welcome.

The place was actually bigger than I was expecting based on some of the other reviews (the shower is tiny, but it wasn't a problem). It had everything we needed and was in good condition. We never had any issues with noise, parking, etc. Probably the best thing for me was the location. We had a car but we were able to walk to several great restaurants because they were so close. I would stay here again.

The place was clean and comfortable. Comfortable memory foam beds and pillows. Plenty of blankets. It's in a basement below a business so we had no noise above us on our weekend stay. The bathroom is tiny but there's good lighting and big mirrors in the bedroom. We didn't really cook but the basics are there. Fantastic location for SUU. I'd stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was great & let us know about some local spots we may like. The apartment was very clean & spacious for my family. There was lots to do/see near by. People in town were polite & friendly. The hour drive to Zion was not bad at all.

Loved the cleanliness . The hour drive to Zion was not bad. Loved having Wal Mart, Starbucks and good restaurants close. Beds and pillows in each of our rooms were MOST comfortable! The host was great.

This was my 4th year at this property and already booked for next year, so that should tell you everything!! Always super clean and cozy. And of course the location for the Utah Shakespeare Festival is fabulous!!! To see more detailed reviews, check out mine back to 2019 for Patty D (skipped 2020-covid).
Sherie is a delight to work with as usual. There's a wonderful Farmer's Market on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday 9-1 that is just a block east, you can see it if you go out back door and look to the right!
This year I discovered super delicious macarons at the Festival but they sell out quickly, so I noticed that they were from the French Spot that is now located in a motel just a few minutes away, go out of front to left, up to Main, turn right, it is in Stratford Court Apts, past it and turn in on right side, doorway with a lot of greenery.

This was perfectly situated for our Utah Shakespeare Festival trip. I loved just walking across the street after a late show. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed.

I don't think that there any housing in Cedar City that is closer to the front entrances of the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

Loved staying at this property. Couldn’t beat the location. The Shakespearean festival was literally across the street so we could walk to our plays and back each day/night. It’s also very close to historic Main Street so we walked there a couple times as well to shop. There are some really fun and delicious restaurants right up the street and they were also having a farmer’s market while we were there right next door. The beds we very comfortable and it’s nice and new inside. I would definitely stay here again when we come for the Shakespearean festival and highly recommend this place over a hotel any day.

We had an enjoyable stay! The unit was quiet and clean, beds were comfortable and the location was great. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. We took day trips to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, so this unit was a great base camp for site seeing! If we ever return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Really great location in downtown. Walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and SUU campus. Clean and nice decor to the place. We had 5 of us and it was fine for sleeping but too many people if you plan to spend significant time here. Anytime you have to use the main living space as a bedroom it makes the place feel a little cramped but in this case especially so b/c the kitchen is too small to gather in. If you don't have to use the living room for sleeping you will be fine in the place but just know that the kitchen is not for making big meals and sitting all down together - you'll have to go to a restaurant for that - I recommend the Thai place just 2 blocks away.

This is a fun property to stay at. Very clean and convenient. Highly recommended!

The property is exactly as advertised. It is a basement apartment under a commercial business. It has an odd layout in that every room is off a long hallway. There are no clocks anywhere except for the stove and microwave in the kitchen. The furnace is noisy, especially in the bedroom closest to the bathroom. The small bathroom reminded me of a Carnival cruise line bathroom. Due to snow in the area in late February, we were stranded in the unit for 2 days. The cable TV selection was very appreciated. During spring and summer this unit would be perfect for the festivals in Cedar City and the many national and state parks in the region.

Nice place in a great location. When I’m in Cedar I go to the downtown restaurants s and like to walk on the SUI campus.
8.0
Let's start with the pros:
1) The property was very clean, and this is so very important
2) comfy beds with high-quality bedding, and I'm very picky
3) great communication with the host. She was very good at sending us all the information we needed to check-in. She sent us lots of info about activities in the area and a variety of restaurants. She was very helpful.
4) Great location - it's literally right across the street from the Beverly Sorenson building. Very convenient as we were visiting our son, who is an SUU student.
5) Great price! It is certainly cheaper than a hotel room of the same size.
Cons-
Nothing serious but just a few things you might want to be aware of before you book this property.
1) The bathroom is small. The doorway is literally 23 inches wide. Yes, I measured it. The shower is the smallest I have ever seen. You will probably have trouble maneuvering in this shower if you are tall (6 feet and up) or generous around the middle. This bathroom does comply with ADA regulations, you definitely won't be able to get a wheelchair or a walker in there.
2) The kitchen is small, awkward, and quirky. Little things, like the cabinets, have no handles, and some hinges are on the wrong side, which makes them difficult to open. Also, there is no dishwasher, and you cannot open the refrigerator when someone is standing in front of the sink washing dishes.
These things weren't a big deal to us because we happen to be rather small in stature and we were only there for three days, but I would imagine these two things could be a big deal for some guests. It's just better to know before you go.

We had a great time because of the location of this apartment. We were able to walk all around old town from our location. There are a lot of great places to eat, shop or rent snow equipment. Brianhead is just a 45 minute drive away to hit the slops.

Perfect location for Shakespeare Plays.

Think this was my 3rd (or 4th?) time staying at this wonderful property! It's just the perfect location to walk across street to the Utah Shakespeare Festival! Can walk into town easily too!
Super clean, lots of fluffy towels. Huge tv (I'm so depressed every time I get home to my little tv!) And lots of stations!
M-F during the day, sometimes hear a little bit of talking from the office above but certainly never woke me up. When the office is empty, it's just super quiet!
Sherie is a delight and quick to respond to any questions. I've stayed all over Cedar in my 20+ years of coming up for the Festival and this is the best place I have found!!

Perfect location for visiting the shakespeare festival!

The property is a converted basement of a business property. The set up was unexpected- one long hallway with 5 rooms. But the beds were comfy. The rental was clean. And you can’t beat the location for the Shakespeare Festival.

Place was great. Bathroom was small, but totally doable. Fun location and really nice place to stay.
