About this cottage rental
Brand new apartment which has been tastefully decorated. This really is a stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with parking. You wont be disappointed! Guests have access to the whole apartment. The property is in a really popular central neighbourhood- all the main attractions are within walking distance! Its easy to walk everywhere, however there are several buses that cover the city a shot walk away, or the tram and train station are only about a 5min walk- you really couldn't be in a better position! Come and see for yourself... We are also on the 4th floor, with city views- but don't worry there is a lift to help you up with your luggage. Holiday apartments really don't get any better than this!

Gorgeous and immaculate
Absolutely immaculate lovely apartment. Well appointed and laid out. The bedrooms are cozy and comfy. Some street noise with Windows open but not significant, however, I would have appreciated some more sun blocking on the bedroom windows. One of the nicest VRBOs I've ever stayed in.

Lovely apartment. Spotless. Very comfortable. Bit noisy with bus stop opposite
A great base for Edinburgh. You can walk everywhere from the apartment. We stayed during the fringe and walked everywhere during our time there. The apartment was immaculate and very well equipped. The only downside was the fact that it’s opposite the bus station. This is incredibly noisy particularly between midnight and 2 am and from 4:30 am in the morning. We couldn’t sleep with the windows open even with earplugs. Just too noisy.

Beautifully decorated and clean
Great location and beautifully decorated! Walking distance to many attractions. It is located next to a bus terminal so traffic can be disruptive for light sleepers if windows are left open throughout the night. Communication with the host was great the first day of check-in. After check-in, however, the host was slow to respond to inquiries.

Beautifully Decorated
The apartment itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is centrally located to everything as well. However, it is located outside of a bus terminal. Because the weather was warm the 3 nights we stayed, we slept with the windows open to keep the unit as cool as possible. With the windows open, the noise level from the buses made sleeping difficult. Compared to a hotel or other private VRBOs/Airbnb’s we have stayed in, it was difficult to obtain immediate assistance from the host after we checked in. We had requested a second fan after the 1st night for the second bedroom to help reduce the noise level and heat at night. Over 24 hours later, the host did provide a second fan that we had to assemble ourselves. I would stay there again, but during cooler temperatures.

Annandale
A lovely, clean, spacious, well equipped flat in a great central location. We really enjoyed our few days in Edinburgh and it was a pleasure to come back to the flat each evening to relax. We loved the central location - 5 minutes to catch buses in to town at the top of the road or a 15 minute walk to the centre. We bought a 48 hour Edinburgh Tour Bus ticket which took us right out to the Botanical Gardens and The Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith as well as all other areas of Edinburgh. A visit to the Parliament building and the a fab walk up to Arthur's Seat on our final morning. We will highly recommend this property to friends and family - also the parking was great - lots of space and very secure! 😀

Charming apartment
My husband and I, plus another couple who are great travel buddies, stayed here for a week. It was clean, airy, and very comfortable, with modern appliances and comfortable beds. It was a short walk to the Royal Mile, about 15-20 minutes, and other central Edinburgh sights. You won’t want to keep windows open at night (too old anyway) because the city bus parking lot is across the street, though we were entertained watching the drivers fit 60 buses into the small lot. Highly recommend this apartment.

Clean and nice!
The location in Edinburgh is good although it is across the street from the bus depot which can be loud. Arrival was easy with great communication. The condo was very clean & nice! Perfect for 2-4 people. We enjoyed our stay and recomend this accommodation.

Nice, clean apartment in great location.
My family spent two nights here. The apartment was very clean with plenty of space, including a great kitchen. It was in a perfect location. 15 minute walk to catch the hop on/off bus tour and 5 minute walk to several great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this apartment.

Totally in awe at how beautiful this apartment was when we walked in the door!
Two couples from Ontario Canada stayed a week. Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms very modern. Very close to the bus route. Although there was a busy bus terminal across the street, the noise from the buses coming and going was not even an issue. We would highly recommend staying here!

Comfortable, Convenient
First off, the location was great. It's a leisurely 30-minute walk to Edinburgh Castle from this apartment. Parking is located behind the building in an off-street, private lot.
The accommodations were comfortable and roomy. The master bedroom has one large bed, where the second bedroom has two twin/single beds. We were two couples, so it would have been nice if the twins could've been slid together to make a larger bed, but we didn't expect that when booking so no points off the review.
For morning coffee, the only options were a K-cup machine and a french press. (No K-cups were provided or at least we didn't find any, so if you want to use them, plan to bring them with you.) It would've been nice to have a regular coffee maker since we had four people who wanted coffee at the same time.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Modern Apartment
Under five minute walk to main road to access transportation and it's about a 20 - 30 minute walk to the castle.
The apartment was well outfitted, clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The building was very quiet and secure. Communication with the management company was easy and they were quick to respond to any email. Having two entry keys was great as we could come and go as needed without having to time everything with the other couple we were with.
We were not bothered by the bus depot across the street however, I would imagine in the summer with the windows open it would be quite noisy.
I would not hesitate to stay here again, absolutely lovely place!

The apartment is beautiful. It is completely updated and well furnished and very comfortable. My only problem was operating the washer/dryer and stove. Not sure if it was just that they were different than what I am used to. Other than that I loved it and was very comfortable there!

This is the second time my friend and I have stayed at the apartment in Annandale and on both occasions have been completely satisfied with the cleanliness and facilities of the apartment. The photos and description are accurate and I have no hesitation in recommending it as suitable accommodation for up to four people

Perfect base to explore Edinburgh.
Very professional, helpful and friendly hosts.

We never got the second key/fob which made it inconvenient for two couples. Being across from the bus depot was less than ideal but not much of an annoyance. The location is excellent. Short bus rides or easy 10-15 minute walks. No services in the immediate area. Very good parking and security.

The apartment is nicely decorated and has wonderful bathrooms and a lovely kitchen. However we did not find it practical for two traveling couples. This is because we only had one key for 4 people-which meant we had to make sure to have a tight schedule to arrive at the apartment each day if we decided to tour Edinburgh separately. There was only one fan for two rooms and the French press was broken-it leaked. We were not able to drop our luggage off early or keep a few hours later- so we had to pay a stiff price to store at the train station for two days. For this reason, we should have just stayed at a hotel and pay a bit more.
1.0 / 5.0
Nicely decorated apartment but only 1 key for two couples to share. Plus we could not drop off our luggage even a few hours earlier than check in which meant we had to pay to store our luggage at the train station which is not cheap! Should have just stayed at a hotel instead.

Just perfect in every aspect
2.0 / 5.0
The building, like the apartment, is modern, quiet, well-maintained and within walking distance of almost any amenity one would need. The apartment totally lived up to its description and was exactly as pictured on Homeaway. It was well-equipped, clean, and
comfortable even for a family of four. The property's location across the street from a major bus facility, which is noisy late into the night and early in the morning, was not a problem as long as the weather allowed for the air-tight and noise-reducing windows to
be closed. Our stay was during an unusually hot summer, so we needed the windows to be open some nights which caused some sleep disturbance for the lighter sleepers in our family. That said, even the interior doors were solid and noise-reducing so that the night-owls in our family coming home late did not disturb those of us already in bed. We could have been better-informed about the location of the household information regarding appliances. When we had a problem with the high-tech washer/dryer, it took several calls
to find out that the appliance manual was in the apartment and available to help us navigate the European-style washer/dryer. Overall, our experience in this apartment was
perfect and we would readily rent this apartment again when we are in Edinburgh or recommend it to others.

The kind of apartment I really enjoy in a trip, like being at home. Clear, tidy, comfortable.
You arrive everywhere in 30 minutes maximum, no need of vehicles.
