Beautifully renovated property in a lovely historic area of Boston
Room was great & bed was very comfortable but the view was of multi lane highways, plural. Couldn’t open any windows due to proximity of roads and I’m quite sure that the drivers at the traffic lights could watch me (if they wanted to!) sitting on the loo

Location is fantastic! An easy walk to the park or shopping. Metro across the street if you need to get anywhere faster. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Felt very safe as a solo traveler.
Restaurant could expand menu for evening dining.

Modern but warm hotel. We wanted a boutique size hotel but one that still had all needed for an extended stay and The Whitney delivers.
Not stuffy at all. Nice lobby and small restaurant.
Super friendly, accommodating and professional staff.
Wish the gym was a bit better equipped. That's it.

Love the location on Charles Street. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. Lobby bar/restaurant is very welcoming and all the staff are helpful.

The breakfast area was very stylish , but food was good ( but not exceptional like the hotel). Service was a bit slow ( they were busy for Sunday Breakfast)

Was breakfast included? We did not eat breakfast at hotel.
Arrived @ 9pm exactly and requested to order food/dinner. Restaurant Kitchen refused to take an order as they close at 9pm . We were told room service was available until 0930pm but no menu as it was only available from TV. Upstairs. No other suggestions were offered. We left hotel to see if we could get food outside hotel. Most restaurants in the area were also closed; eventually we found a restaurant nearby with a later dining time. It would have been helpful to have been informed or offered this information before we left hotel.
The following night two in our party ordered food from room service. There is an extremely limited room service menu. I understand that the food was terrible (grilled cheese sandwiches extremely oily) they did not eat it.
While staff were friendly and polite the tone was mostly about what could not be done or achieved. Disappointing. But otherwise a nice hotel.

Room is not soundproof, we could hear when people in the room above our floor were walking

Great location to shops, restaurants and MIT.
Walls are a little thin. We could hear footsteps from upstairs and also next door.

Great vibe in the bar. Good food. Beautiful room and extremely comfortable bed. Plus an amazing cake waiting in the room for my wife's 50th birthday!
Gym didn't have much in it. But it was ok.

great location to visit boston and get to Cambridge. By Beacon Hill and the River, right next to a train stop and walkable to the the city center! Kind and welcoming staff.
beds are too soft in my opinion.

Location is awesome: Beacon Hill is the best neighborhood in Boston. Boston Common and downtown are within walking distance. The staff is by far the most kind, helpful and efficient you’ll ever meet. Rooms are spacious and elegant.

Everything was fantastic, the staff were very helpful & friendly. I had a very early start the one day and the man on reception waited with me outside for my taxi. Always services with a smile and good conversation.
The food in the restaurant was delicious at breakfast - we didn't get a chance to try it for dinner but it smelt delicious and the bar service was great. Our room was lovely, great bathroom (shower) and the bed was very comfortable. The fitness suite was small but more than enough for what I needed and had a good array of equipment. Everything was spotlessly clean. We wouldn't hesitate to book the hotel again for our next visit.
We wouldn't change a thing!

Perfect location for a trip to Boston.
The staff were very helpful during our stay - particularly Piero (I think that was his name) the chap who first met us on arrival.
All facilities are fantastic and provides some quaint style with a modern feel.
