The apartment is very nice and especially very well located. Right in the center of town which, of course means it can sometimes be noisy at night. The beach, nice stores nice restaurants are all within a short reach The pictures and the description are accurate. There is air-conditioning in the kitchen, which is good enough for the kitchen and the living room but does not reach into the bedrooms if it is not hot that is not a problem as there is a nice breeze.
but we had some problems. We stayed here last year. At the beginning of our stay last year we reported a problem with the main shower. It wasn’t totally working correctly. One year later it is still not working correctly. We had no trash bags, there were no start up supplies, no soap in one bathroom and the Wi-Fi didn’t work.
our greeter Zelaia did a fabulous job to try to make things right. She gets five stars. In order to solve the Wi-Fi problem we were given a small Wi-Fi hotspot. However, we were not given a charger and so I had to buy one. Also, the towels were so rough and old I had to buy some. About 2/3 of the way through our stay the air conditioning stopped working. As I said, it’s a nice apartment and I would stay here again but with these problems I could not give it a five-star rating.

We loved Biarritz and this beautiful apartment steps from the beach, so many wonderful restaurants and shops, Les Halles, etc. EXCEPT that it is directly above Le Playboy, a popular nightclub open midnight to 6-7am every day of the week. It was closed during COVID so other reviews don’t mention this. The music was very loud and there are youth in the streets at all hours of the night and morning—some days talking loudly and playing music in the courtyard directly below the apartment until 8am. It was very hard to sleep through the noise, even with all the windows closed and fans on. Apparently this has been an issue for years (neighbors in the building confirmed) but the police, tourist office, etc. are not motivated to ask the club owner to keep music low, keep door shut and guests inside, etc. because the club has been there since the 1960’s! So this issue is here to stay and should be clearly disclosed in the apartment description, in our respectful opinion.Je répète en français que l’appart est directement au dessous d’une boîte de nuit, Le Playboy, ouvert toutes les nuits de 24h a 6-7h. Le bruit est super fort même avec toutes les fenêtres fermées.Otherwise, we absolutely loved this apartment! It is lovely and bright, with nice city views. Beautiful historic building, very well maintained. Full kitchen with everything we needed. Comfy beds. Plenty of towels. Nespresso store right across the street for coffee pods. We had the best stay and will definitely return.. we will just look for a quieter apartment next time. Merci Biarritz!

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement entièrement rénové. Tout était parfait ! On reviendra !
Je recommande plutôt pour 4 personnes que pour 6. Le canapé lit restant de l’appoint.

Beautiful space & perfect location
We were in Biarritz for 3 nights and couldn’t have asked for a more central location. Just down the hill, a beautiful staircase filled with hydrangeas, led to the Grand Plage (beach). Restaurants, markets, shopping plentiful & surround you!
The apartment is spacious, well decorated, very clean, and has everything you might need and more. Beds very comfortable. Slept with the windows open every night. The ocean breeze was lovely. We loved the complimentary nespresso & tea in the mornings! The building is a beautiful, well maintained, historic space. Easy elevator ride to top floor (4th) with luggage.
We loved everything about Biarritz! The apartment was icing on the cake. Perfect in every way. Thank you!
