K-D Haven is nestled on a beautiful lot that has an abundance of pine and quaking Aspen trees. The cabin sits on a dead end road and gives you a secure feeling of privacy and seclusion. K-D Haven sits close to Highway 20, and just 15-20 minutes to the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This cabin gives the vacationer a feeling of home away from home, with a rustic touch of knotty pine throughout the home.

This property also has a large enough driveway that allows room for ATV trailers, you can ride directly from the cabin winter or summer!! Upon entering the cabin you'll be welcomed by a cozy living room, dining room, kitchen, full size bathroom and a private bedroom. Upstairs in the loft is another private bedroom, full size bathroom and two extra futons bringing a comfortable sleeping total of eight guests. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to be able to make home cooked meals while on vacation. A propane grill is available for guests for outdoor cooking.

Until further notice, guests will be required to boil water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food. We highly suggest bringing bottled water.

This house is about 25 min from west Yellowstone entrance. It’s very quiet and sits on a quiet road. There really is not good cell service and since no WiFi, this was a little challenging. We did get to see wildlife right in the yard on our last day which was really cool. No AC, so hot in the summer. They left the general amenities in cabinets which was nice.

This home was truly our home away from home. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and the house layout was perfect for giving us each our own space and a space to be together! It was so cozy and comfy! The Mama Moose and her babies that visited us were just the icing on the cake! Loved it here and will definitely be recommending!

Had a great stay at this property! Very clean upon arrival and had no issues getting in and out of the house. Watched every morning out the windows to see some animals like we saw from other reviews but no luck. Still would highly recommend if you want a quiet stay while exploring Yellowstone.

KD Haven is a charming, rustic cabin in the woods! It is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. There are no starter toiletries or internet, but this was stated upfront. I was expecting it to be more isolated, but it is tucked into a neighborhood full of cabins. But there are lots of trees to provide privacy. All in all it was comfortable and beautiful and located only 30 min from Yellowstone!

What a wonderful place to stay! Close enough to the park, but far enough from all the hustle and bustle. The cabin stayed cool with fans in the windows every night even with temps in the mid 80s during the day. It was stocked with the items we needed to do all our cooking at the cabin. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Beds were all comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

KD cabin had everything you needed to enjoy several days exploring Yellowstone national Park. The property was very clean. The check-in check out process was excellent. Location was secluded and quiet. Only slight negative was directions were a little confusing but we got there. Would stay there again.

The cabin is nice and comfortable. It was well stocked with kitchen pans etc. I would suggest calling the day before checking in, to make sure housekeeping has cleaned the cabin, as it had not, upon our arrival. We were reimbursed cleaning fee, but I had to spend time cleaning.

Spoke to the local agent once left two messages no response. There is no wifi in the house and no cell service. Gas fire place did not work. The cleaning in the lower bath had a leak from the upper bath. While these were minor issues for us the lack of response was a problem. The place was great and about 25- 30 minutes from the west gate of Yellowstone

We had a little trouble finding because of written directions and missing signs. Loved the inside, very comfortable seating and recliners for resting!!! Great washer and dryer which we took advantage of. Clean and comfortable beds. Upstairs a little tight, but would be great for kids.

If you are planning on playing in Yellowstone and Island Park this is an ideal location! Our family of six fit comfortably in this cabin. We especially loved the furnished kitchen since we cooked every day during our five day stay. It was sparkling clean when we arrived with plenty of towels, extra blankets, dish soap, hand soap, and everything we needed! Would definitely rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin which was about 20 minutes from the West Yellowstone entry to the park. We liked the layout of the cabin and the comfy recliner sofas. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a dishwasher at the property but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Just not ideal having to hand wash dishes on vacation. The grate on the outdoor grille is pretty useless - the gaps are too big and food can slide in. We knew there was no WiFi at the property but we didn’t realize there was basically no AT&T cellular data or phone service. It worked limited on the 1st day but that was it. We felt a bit stuck out there if there was an emergency and clearly other nearby properties had WiFi. The dirt roads to the property are a bit rough and it wasn’t as secluded as we had hoped. We did appreciate that there was bear spray left behind for us to use. We purchased some before we arrived but ended up returning it.

House was clean and seemed well maintained. Instructions were clear and everything in the unit worked as expected. There was an empty lot next to us and we found a moose sleeping there just 50' away the first morning when we woke up. We also saw another larger moose on a walk through the neighborhood area. Easy drive to Yellowstone, 15-20 min.

We enjoyed the cabin, the location being close to the park, fishing, and kayak and razor rentals was terrific. As we had read in previous reviews, it is very close to other cabins. Had I not known that in advance, I would have been disappointed. The cabin was very clean with the exception of 2 things missed by housekeeping, old coffee grounds in the coffee pot and a lot of crumbs on one kitchen chair cushion. We would have given it 5 stars if those things weren't missed.

This cute little cabin provided our family of 4 a nice comfortable stay. With unseasonably warmer temps not having air made it a little difficult to sleep comfortably at night. With only 1 box fan and one smaller fan it didn’t provide much relief. It would be nice if each room was equipped with a box fan. Beds were not super comfortable. Community where cabin is located is super quiet which was nice. I do think it would benefit the property if it was kept up a little nicer. With the over growth of weeds around the house you really couldn’t enjoy the space outside of the cabin. Not to mention it would just give it a little more curb appeal. Overall this cabin was sufficient for our needs. Just some minor changes I would recommend considering to add appeal to your rental property for future guests.

I knew with the listing that there was no internet however I never realized how big of a negative impact this would have on our stay. Not knowing the area and wanting to explore and look up things, Google websites, sign waivers was all impossible. Not having channels on the TV was also disappointing. After a long hike maybe coming back to a family movie would have been nice. This place did not meet our needs for a relaxing vacation. Cabin was nice but we needed amenities to make it complete. Live and learn. We would not return without these accommodations here or anywhere. Don't know the area and can't look anything up not good for tourists in my opinion.

We loved EVERYTHING about this place ...except for the beds! They are way too soft, which made for difficult sleep. Otherwise we loved the location, atmosphere, decor, and ability to cook all of our own meals. Great place for a family visiting Yellowstone! If an investment was made into decent mattresses - I would recommend it to everyone I know....we didn't need a single other thing. . Oh ..and some blinds on the upstairs windows would be nice....although we appreciate the natural light-when you don't want your kids to wake at 5:00 a.m....it would have been nice to have the option of making it darker from a tired Mom's perspective.....

This listing was just incredible. The house was perfect for the four of us and we had more than enough room. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (including tupperware for picnics). The neighborhood was quiet and was a perfect amount of time away from the business of downtown W. Yellowstone and Yellowstone Park itself. We even saw a moose in the backyard on our last day . There was no wifi, however my teenagers enjoyed tv with the parents instead! It was a win/win!
