Warm and welcoming with fresh interiors in an understated coastal style, guests are greeted by a hallway with plenty of space to hang coats and put shoes away before heading into an open plan living, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor .
The living area has a comfy L-shaped sofa, a large flat screen TV and a working fireplace which is perfect for cosy winter evenings. The kitchen includes an island with bar stools for convivial breakfasts or meal prep, and the dining table gazes out of double doors onto a balcony with views towards picturesque Snape’s Point, with glimpses of the sea and the hills beyond. There’s also a useful WC on the ground floor in the hallway.
Deceptively spacious and complete with a large lawn for children to play on safely in the sunshine, the house includes helpful spaces like a games room under the house with table football and dartboard, as well as an office in case you need five minutes to do a little remote working with desk, flat screen TV and Sofa.

Recommended for: This spacious house is perfect for families, especially with the large lawned garden at the back.
Favourite feature: The garden and the balcony mean that even when you return from a day at the beach you can enjoy time outside in the privacy of your own space.

During the summer months there is off street parking for up to 2 cars. During the off season this reduces to 1. Free on street parking is available outside the property.
About a holiday in Salcombe
Salcombe is a historic fishing and sailing town that has become famous as a holiday destination because of its natural beauty and its local charm. Blessed with more beaches than you can visit in a week, a jaw-dropping estuary and magnificent walks along the South West Coast Path, it’s also filled with local traditions. For example, there’s the Town Regatta, excellent sailing opportunities, and Salcombe even has its own gin and ice cream factories. You can’t leave without sampling the town’s unparalleled clotted cream fudge, visiting the magnificent bakery and restaurants such as Captain Flint’s and The Winking Prawn (next to North Sands beach), which have practically become a rite of passage for visitors.
NOTE RE PARKING

Drive was very tight, cannot open car doors. Bannister to garden wobbly. No welcome book with instructions for electrical items and no helpful hints/tips. Tv difficult to use. Shower in en suite knob kept falling off, so difficult to get the right temperature. Chairs in dining area kept breaking.

Great place to stay
We had a lovely stay here with our 2 and 4 year olds and the Grandparents. Disappointed that the trampoline wasn't there as i'd promised my 4 year old there was one. Other than that everything was great. There is a spa just round the corner for the little things and walk down the hill with little ones is fine, just not fun walking back up so we tended to drive down to town. Parking outside the property is fine but the driveway is pretty tight but doable.
Tina was great with communication and it is a lovely home with everything you need for a great holiday.

Nice house up the hill
A well-appointed family/holiday home in Salcombe, close to the Spar supermarket, but therefore up some steep hills from the centre of town!
The trampoline in the details was not there for our stay but we used the table football. We had everything we needed for a week and the drive can easily take two cars - helpful as parking is not easy in Salcombe.

Beautiful house great for children
We loved staying here with our 3 and 4 year olds. The trampoline was a big hit as were the lego and bath toys. Kitchen was well stocked including all those little things like clingfilm and kitchen towel. Each room was perfectly done out with plenty of space for our own things. The co-op is very close by and there is a really good playground at the top of Raleigh road and then left. It was too steep for us to walk up and down to salcombe but we expected this with young kids and found it easy to drive down, not much parking on the weekend but we then went to the north beach early and had no problems parking there. We wish we were there for longer. Tina was fantastic as keeping in touch too. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Just what we weanted
Rosslyn is clearly a cherished holiday home. The property is ideal for getting into Salcombe on foot, and has off-road parking. The facilities and funishings are excellent. There's plenty of room, a good outdoor seating area, and a games room in the garden. We have stayed in many Salcombe properties over the years - this will be our first choice next time.

Great location, easy to walk into Salcombe , ideal for families sharing, good facilities for kids
This is a family home rather than a pristine holiday let, so it had a great family feel to it with lots of things to keep the children entertained. It was fantastic having a spar shop just up the road and also an easy, albeit hilly, walk into town! Our one complaint would be that we all found the beds too hard!! But overall we had a fantastic time and loved the mobile chip van that turned up on a Friday!

Was a lovely house, very much someones home rather than a pure holiday let.
Great location for Salcombe town, parking was easy, but it is not height of season yet. Handy little spar just around the corner.

Fabulous Property
Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. It's location is perfect for all that Salcombe and South Devon have to offer. Having parking on site was an absolute bonus. The kids (big and small) loved the games room. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for sharing this house with us Tina.

Smashing fun for adults and children alike
We had such a lovely long weekend! Felt at home instantly in this very well thought out property. The children (aged 3-7) of which there were 4 loved the trampoline, games room and bunk beds! It felt entirely safe for them to have the run of the house and garden. The table tennis provided much fun on the chillier evenings/days.
Salcombe, North Sands and Mill Bay were beautiful as ever and would highly recommend a trip out to Bigbury-on-Sea with lunch or dinner at The Oyster Shack which was foodie heaven.
We all left, endeavouring to return again soon.
Thank you so much!
