About this house rental

Easy access with a key located in the lockbox by the front door.
You will have total privacy. Consider our place your home away from home.
Livingroom has a deep tissue i-joy massage chair, a TV w/Roku, and Playstation 3 Game console with assorted games & a cd/boombox.
Sleeps 5 guests total.
Bedroom one has two beds, a double and a twin plus TV.
Bedroom two has a King Adjustable smart bed with sleep enhancement, massage, and anti-snore settings. Bed lifts both head and legs with remote. Plus aTV with Roku streaming.

Located in the heart of Lawrence, just minutes from the KU stadium and downtown. We will provide rides to and from KU events if needed.

Trained housebroken pets are allowed. (Must be up to date on shots and flea treatment). The backyard is only partially fenced and shared.

We provide essentials like shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, blender, toaster, coffee pot and coffee, creamer, sugar, and other amenities . Built-in dishwasher and microwave.

Private driveway for off-street parking.
There is a Dunkin Donuts, Dollar General, restaurant, and gas station shopping center all within walking distance.

The place was accurately described for the house and outside patio. We were pleasantly surprised with the inside of the house. The AC is top notch, great water pressure in the shower, and a variety of many snacks as a welcome.

We were in town for a wedding. This unit was centrally, located and convenient to the areas of Lawrence that we needed access to. It is an older unit with doors that stick and don’t fully close. But well stocked with bathroom amenities, snacks, comfortable beds, and lots of video games!

The area is quite a way from the main drag of Mass St. and the neighborhood was not really anywhere of interest. No judgment intended, but the property needs some work. If you just need a place to lay your head, it works. But if you want some social/entertaining space as well, I'm not sure this is the spot for you. It's also a duplex, so if there are neighbors, you will be hearing their comings and goings. We'd stay again, but not for the price.

This is a cute little house near KU. It beats the nasty, rundown hotels in town that charge double the price and give you nothing. The place was very clean. Many items were offered - snacks, toiletries in abundance. Old fashioned in a charming and comfortable way. Good WiFi and TVs. Nice for an extended stay for a family of up to 5. I would book it again in a minute.

Was a good place for just an overnight stay. When we booked, we thought it slept 7 because that's what the listing said. We later found out it only slept 5, so we had to leave someone home, but we worked it out. Beds were comfy and was a quiet location. Cooked breakfast in the morning. Had a lot of kitchen supplies which was nice. Might suggest another large skillet, but other than that, it was fully stocked. Overall it was a good experience and we would book again!

Great proximity to mass street Ave the campus. Easy to navigate, enjoyed the breakfast and snack items. Only confusing thing was check out. Instructions said to text when checked out but i couldn't locate a number to text.

Nice, clean and comfortable place for our son’s KU move in! We even brought our dog. Good location and a relaxing place to come back to during a very busy weekend. Will be back!

The place was not at all what I expected from the pictures and description. It felt like it was in a bad area, the slide door barely worked (after removing the security bar), the space was dark and very small and outdated. The kitchen was barely big enough to open the fridge door and the furniture (couch, recliner, and beds were all very small and cramped). The massaging chair was child-like sized and was ripped. The fenced yard was only on 2 sides, one of which was broken/missing pieces. It was all very cramped and I was very anxious about the neighborhood. I would not have been able to let my dogs relax and walk around to use the restroom, andi would not have been able to relax and rest during my stay.

The property was comfortable, clean, and convenient. The owner was easy to work with. The Internet strength, however, wasn’t sufficient to watch TV in both the living room and bedroom at the same time and after an episode of a swat team intervention, the safety of the neighborhood is questionable, but not surprising for the area.

The house was cozy, clean, and just right from my work away from home needs. The snacks were a lovely touch. It was only a mile to my kiddo’s housing so it worked out great. The owner is very responsive. I’ve stayed in both sides of the duplex and had good stays.

We came to Lawrence to visit Kansas University. From this property we had easy access to the school, Massachusetts Ave and the state park. When the weather got cold and damp, we were very comfortable and warm inside this home. The hosts let me know the day of arrival that everything was ready for our stay. Lots of snacks were provided as part of the warm welcome. There's a great chinese noodle place within walking distance as well as a Dunkin Donuts! We really enjoyed our stay here.

The booking somehow was not accurate and she came thoughtfully helped us navigate a difficult situation by allowing us to stay the night. WE WERE VERY THANKFUL. Our two dogs loved it and so did we. This is one of several times we have stayed at this place, it’s our home away from home. It has all one needs for a pleasure able stay. Place is always clean, fresh smelling, & nicely stocked. From the initial booking the communication from the owners was very good. We were provided with a booking pack prior to our visit and it was very informative. We had arranged with the property managers that they could provide the airport pick up and drop off. Brilliant service at the same cost of taxis. We were shown around the property which was very clean and cleaning products/hand washing/clothing wash tabs all provided. Lovely touch as it saves the expense of buying these. Large water also provided. Managers are very knowledgeable about the resort and are only a text away should you need them. Great size and configuration of bedrooms providing privacy for sharing family. We will return to this property if in the Caleta area again. Highly recommended.

Friends of mine had their apartment flooded during Christmas break and were never notified so everything molded. Carrie was very accommodating and understanding during a very stressful time. Communication was absolutely wonderful. Facilities were very nice and cozy. I would highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a short drive to everything, and the rental is nestled quite nicely in its midst. It’s a duplex, but it still feels like a home, which is not an easy feat to accomplish. Major kudos to Carrie and Guy for that. It’s a great option for a great price with great hosts.
