Delightful house and garden - loved the stained glass windows, the pretty bedrooms, beautifully appointed bathrooms and the inviting sitting area. Loved the gas 'log' fire and ambiance in the house. Lots of heritage styled furnishings, ornaments and interesting artwork. Loved the space - didn't feel at all cramped. Loved the underfloor heating - the whole house was warm and cozy during our winter visit. The garden was beautiful and it was a joy to see the daffodils, jonquils and camellias in bloom. Great views. Outdoor area looks wonderful but it was cold outside and we opted for the warm log fire instead.
The microwave located on top of the fridge was very difficult to access and a safety hazard trying to take a bowl of hot porridge out. It could easily be placed on the bench in the butler's pantry/laundry room. The access to the house makes taking heavy suitcases up the many stairs and back down to the car a difficult task. It could be possible to create a slightly wider pathway along the service side with a sealed surface or a ramp up to the left hand side patio? (might not be enough length?). The place where the next-door property driveway and the Gladville property adjoin has a sharp drop and is a little nerve wracking to drive past in the dark. A handrail along the steep brick steps that lead to the front door would be appreciated (could be powder-coated metal so not intrusive looking).

The home was magnificent. So comfortable and everything needed was there. My daughter was getting married during our stay and the home has provided some wonderful photo backdrops. The home has been beautifully restored and we would happily stay there again and again. A big thankyou to the owners of this beautiful home.
The driveway on the hill was a little challenging.

Lovely house
Needs a rail at the front steps. Very difficult to get down

We like how close the property was to town.
The beds were to small and very uncomfortable! The first bedroom on the left as you entered the house was on a slope!! House needs re stumping!!
The house was advertised by deception! The house was on a hill which made it really difficult for my sister to walk up. This needs to be addressed in your advertising! Not just stating it has six steps!!

Everything was of a high quality standard. The style and decor were beautiful. I loved having a a new dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The amount of kitchen equipt was a bit daunting and I felt a bit guilty I didn't use much of it but I fantasised a guest chef would appear at any moment. The welcome wine was appreciated. Bathrooms and stained glass were very impressive. We had to encourage ourselves to leave the house to sight- see, rather than stay in where it was so comfortable.
We would have loved some ground coffee for the first night.
Lock boxes always seem to break a fingernail.

The setting was scenic but it could only be enjoyed from outside and in Autumn it was too cold to sit outside for long. The exterior and interior of the property were reminiscent of the 1920s. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped. The bathrooms were luxurious, light, bright and very modern and each had a spa bath. The property appeared to be much loved with many enhancements. The location was only a few minutes walk from the main Street.
The lounge area excuded character but was not well lit either by natural light or artificial lights. The bedrooms were small with little space to put away your possessions.

The decor is VERY attractive, the kitchen equipment plentiful, the bathrooms are both roomy and well done, the hydronic heating is bliss & the gas "log" fire is a pleasant distraction. WiFi is simple & much appreciated in an area with poor mobile coverage unless with Telstra. The whole setup of the house is just brilliant.

Very charming and comfortable period home. Beautifully furnished and fitted out.
A welcome pack was left for us, a lovely touch unless of course it comes out of $500.00; as above !!!!!
No handrails on steps leading from verandah. Its a very steep slope down to car park area. Someone witj mobility problems would find it extremely difficult to enter and leave premises.
Large high gloss tiles on floor both bathrooms. Danger of slippage extremely high.
Even though accommodation prepaid in full, without my knowledge or permission, an extra $500.00 taken via Credit card as security. I realise this is common practice but I don't have to like it. Its a large amount of money, and takes 7 days to get it back.
Mattresses and pillows not comfortable and probably need replacing.
