The property in the countryside of Oxfordshire within a short drive of Oxford. The stable cottage is located within a picturesque farm complex. The property is well maintained and of a high standard. The garden is small but with a lovely aspect of stonewalls, fruit trees and English cottage garden plants. Highly recommend. Outstanding local farm to plate restaurant within the grounds; excellent food and service.

Lovely location and comfortable facilities

Loved it. The facilities were amazing with the pool nearby that the kids loved. The house was comfortable and luxurious.
Maybe robes would be a nice touch, even with options to pay extra. Our towels were wet from the pool so had to share for showers.

The location was excellent - especially for visiting Blenheim Palace and Oxford. Facilities excellent and having garden as outside space was nice. There is a lovely kitchen garden and farm shop on the farm that we visited. The kitchen garden is beautiful and tea/cakes as well as lunch and evening meals served there.

size wise suited our party
the property was very cold, heating hadn’t been put on early enough prior to our visit and the first night was freezing and we had a 5 month old baby and a gentleman with a heart condition. we searched for logs for the wood burner where the information sheet said they would be but following searching the whole site there were none available.we were considering going home after one night but managed to phone and get logs for the fire which at least warmed the lounge area.

Swimming pool, but worth noting the restricted hours of use. During our stay in summer holidays, swimming pool was only allowed to be used 7am-8:30am, 1pm-2pm, then after 5:30pm until sunset, due to the location being on a business estate, which was disappointing for the children.
The terrible sewerage smell which apparently came from adjacent sprayed fields. The property entrance though is directly opposite a sewage treatment works. The cottages are unusually located on a business park.

Lovely building and facilities.
Large wedding party in the main house. Party went on quite late, into their garden as well which was very noisy for us.

Location, Parking and Access to the property was very good. On the day of arrival a pop up food van was located on site which was very handy and the food (Taco's) was excellent. The property was in good condition and very clean. A lemon drizzle cake was left out for us which was a nice treat along with the nespresso coffee maker and complimentary capsules.
The heating - although the thermostat was turned up fully the radiators were only warm to touch so the bedrooms were cold at night . Plugin heaters were provided thankfully but one had a wheel missing and was a bit unstable. The property does has a log burner which we really enjoyed and kept the living room warm whilst we played board games.
