I love the clean room and restroom.
The outside wasn’t giving at all, but upon entering into the room. I was blown away.

Owner was very attentive from the beginning to the end. Easy to find the place. Location - best! Surrounding area safe and close to all central sites. Room is comfortable enough. There is tiny kitchen that can be used for coffee and tea during the stay.
Mosquito nets should be fixed.

This property was great value for money on the inside. The room was clean and as pictured.
I arrived at the property at about 10.30pm (my flight arrived late).. I was told there would be self-check in but not given any details of what this meant. I arrived at the property and there was no sign outside the property matching the name of the booking - the Brilliant Place. A taxi driver from the airport took me to an adjacent street and walked me down two dark alleys to get to the property. I had just arrived in a huge, unknown city as a solo female traveller and felt extremely uneasy arriving at the property. There was no sign saying ‘the Brilliant Place’ outside and none of the buzzers said the Brilliant Place. The property is situated on a dark, quiet street with a huge gate saying ‘25’. There was nothing here that made me feel like I was in the right place. The taxi driver pressed the buzzers and someone without speaking opened the gate which made me feel really unsafe and weary to enter the property. I tried to call the owner (who was not at the property) and initially did not get through and then did not manage to speak to her in English. It turns out she had asked a Spanish couple staying in the property to let me into the property but she had not communicated this to me so I felt very uneasy about entering the property (so uneasy that I was about to go and try and find somewhere else to stay) until a neighbour appeared who did speak English and I felt reassured that I was in the right place and that I could trust the Spanish couple and enter the property. This was not an ideal start. Two things - 1. the signs outside the property should match booking.com 2. The owner should better communicate with guests arriving out with normal check-in times. If she had contacted me and told me in advance and told me to expect a Spanish couple and explained the situation, I would have felt much safer arriving. Be prepared to feel unsafe if you are arriving at night by yourself straight from the airport.

The apartment looked nice and clean on the inside, and is relatively close to the historic center.
The place was difficult to find for me, there was no sign outside or any name on the door to contact the owner. The house looked honestly creepy and abandoned from the outside, def no place I would normally enter as a female solo traveler. Luckily the downstairs door was open so I could go inside, and a neighbour pointed out the place to me. On the door, the name was not "The Brilliant Place" but something completely else. Felt like the whole thing was kind of a scam. When I arrived inside, the room was not completely prepared and the owner seemed confused who I was and what room I booked exactly.
The owner recommended a few places around and was nice to talk to in general. But when it came to asking a few details about my stay, things got a bit vague, which may or may not had to do with a language barrier. The wi-fi was not working during my whole stay, even though I asked multiple times to fix it. Also, even though the name of the place was literally "Bed and Breakfast" the owner told me on the phone (the next morning, after I woke up hungry and a bit confused where the breakfast was) that it was not included in the booking and she was not able to prepare it in the place (even though there was a fully prepared kitchen). When I asked further, the tone got rude and she hung up on me. Then she sent me to a friend of hers which apparently owned another place, where I could get breakfast. Once I arrived there, I got a bunch of prepacked crackers. Not the experience I hoped for.
All in all, kind of shady and many lacks of communication - and very different from the description here. Would not come again.

The lady was really nice and friendly - the location was great - 5 minutes walk to the ferry and inbetween the historic centre and the shopping quarter. Shower water pressure was great. Clean and had some nice touches.
Unfortunately the shower was broken and could only be used held by hand, and was only hot for about 20 seconds at a time. Additionally, someone kept smoking in the common/breakfast area and it intermittantly stank like stale cigarettes. Also, you really need to make sure you know where you're going/have the phone number for this place as there is no sign outside as it's still the old one which was something like 'folkcore' - there is no one staying there except for guests so you definitely need to organise in advance.

The proprerty is in perfect location and the hostess Rosaria is very joyful, polite and helpful.
The cleaning on the 2nd day (as mentioned upon arrival) never happened (!)

The whole experience was very good! The room was super clean and confortable, everthing needed was in place.
the location is perfect! Walking distance from all the main things to see and do in Napoli, both the older part and the newer part of the ciry... the apartment is located right in the middle of both, so very good.
Finally, Rosanna is just a super host! Besides beeing very kind, she will give very good tips for what to see in Napoli and where to eat good food!
I strongly recommend "The Brilliant Place"!

The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and the facilities were great. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was hot and had great power. The balcony was lovely to sit at in the evening and even at night, the windows are great for blocking out the distant street noise. The host Rosaria was a delight and super helpful during our stay.
Cannot fault the location of the accommodation, it’s a 10 minute walk to the historic centre where there a whole host of restaurants and bars as well as the beautiful churches. Toledo is a similar 10/15 minute walk.
We took a taxi in the evening to Chiaia (costing around 10€. The port is super close by too and the Alibus from the airport stops there and is only a 5 minute walk to the accommodation.
Honestly such great value for money and we will definitely stay there again.
Thank you again Rosaria for you amazing hospitality!
Grazie Mille!

worst stay! the property is near the central district but it not in the main road, you need to go to the final building in a secondary road that looks very scare especially at night, the apartments is on the first floor and and the main gate of the building makes very bad noises when opened and closed and the lady comes at midnight to check the apartment which makes it so scare and uncomfortable. Besides, i paid for a stay with a breakfast then she didn’t offer the breakfast because of covid restrictions though no relation between these 2 things except cheating. I have stayed for 5 nights and the towels never changed, and the room never cleaned. finally on my last day, i was out and after coming to my room i found out that the lady has entered my room without any permission or telling me at least that she came to switch off the conditioner and the lamps and that has brought my panic attack cause i was so stressed and full of the unprofessional and uncomfortable stay. i don’t recommend.

This place is convenient, clean and very well equipped. Plus, they arranged a lift to the airport early in the morning at a good price.
Either there should be a way to self checkin or they should be more organized. I waited 30 min, in the dark, for someone to come, although I had mentioned twice my time of arrival. It was quite stressful for me as I don’t know the city + I am not used to travel alone.

The location is good if you need to be near the port or bus station and the airconditioning was useful
It was quite difficult to check in, contact with the owners was rather difficult and the walls were quite thin. Each room is a separate bedroom from a main apartment with shared kitchen so if the people staying in the other rooms make any noise, you’ll be woken up.
