About this house rental
This is a great house for bringing the whole family-Grandparents, Moms & Dads, Kids, the nieces & nephews, or just a bunch of girlfriends or ski buddies. Even the dog can come on vacation. How cool is that! The house is well suited for multi families or multi generations. Bring friends, bring Gran & Gramps, hey-even bring people you don't like-you'll like them better after staying here!
In the last year or so I've replaced most of the beds, bedding, built a utility yard for the dog to stay in and store the bikes, painted the whole interior and installed new carpet. Everything is sparkly and clean enough for a picky mother-in law or Granny who always finds something to complain about. No worries here!
Everything from watching a movie or two (yep, even two at a time) on the TV's or sit in the gaming chair and play your video games, unless you prefer competitive Foosball. For outdoor fun try your hand at cornhole.
The choices are yours and not everyone has to make the same choice! Plenty of things to do and different rooms to do them in. A Roku box and Chromecast are available on most TVs. There's a lounge chair on the deck for lazily reading while the rest of the family goes out to play or ride on the 33 miles of bike paths, or goes for some wet fun at the SHARC.
For my winter guests: The dog is welcome and I had a covered dog/bike enclosure built so you can take Fido out without having to go in the snow.
This home was remodeled in a combination of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Cascades. Wood and warm tones are throughout the house. The stone work on the front of the house is echoed in the tile downstairs. This is an easy house to enjoy. Calm, clean but not fussy. When remodeling this home my main goal was, that if in 20 years from now someone said "my family had this get together when I was a kid and we had so much fun" then it was all worth it! I want families and friends to spend time together, enjoying each others company.
The house was designed for multi-generations or multi-families. It has plenty of room for family gatherings, but also has enough privacy for some personal quiet time. The downstairs is more formal and the upstairs is where the action is; Foosball, TVs, mini kitchen, you may not go downstairs for a week, well maybe to jump in the hot tub! You may not see the kids utill you leave!
The wrap around deck has plenty of room for outdoor parties or just reading a book in the sun. The hot tub is pre-set to 99-101 degrees F by the hot tub company, is maintained weekly or between guests as needed and should be ready upon arrival. Please keep the cover closed when not in use. Please, NO glass around the hot tub, there are plastic glasses and dining ware for outdoor use. Hot tub is to be used at guest’s discretion and personal risk.
The downstairs is more formal and has a 70" TV.
The whole family can fit at the dining table which can seat 10 and fit a few more in with the side table. The kitchen is fully stocked with matching plates, silverware and serving pieces. You won't be embarrassed setting a table for that special meal. The bar area is ready for your aperitifs or just sodas. The downstairs is wheelchair friendly with a small portable ramp available to go over the step up to the living room. The wet bar area is wheelchair friendly with a roll under sink and mini refrigerator.
The master bath is large and open. The tub is just right for a relaxing soak after a long day of fun. The doors are 36' wide, the shower has a low threshold and there is a grab bar near the commode. One of the vanities has a place to sit while getting ready for the day.
This house sleeps 12. The owner, property managers, Sunriver HOA and the neighbors are very strict on this. Per Sunriver regulations, No Parking On The Street or RV Parking in Sunriver. The home has a 2 car garage and can fit up to 4 more cars in the driveway.
Mt Bachelor is an easy 23 mile drive from our door. Or you can Nordic ski right here on the bike paths.
For summertime fun there are at least 2 adult bikes, and often times up to 4 adult and 2 kids bikes. Bikes are professionally maintained at the beginning of summer. If you experience a flat tire or other malfunction please take the bike to Village Bike and have it repaired so it will be ready for the next guest. Bicycles are to be used at guest’s discretion and personal risk.
This property is managed onsite by Cascara Vacation Rentals to give you great service during your stay. They will contact you prior to your stay and text you as soon as the house is ready( between 4and 6 pm) and give you your own access code. No more keys!
Call the Sunriver Resort to ask about golf courses and memberships. Also, only owners may launch canoes, rafts or other watercraft from the marina.
Professional tennis tournaments are held in Sunriver also. Check tournament schedules as private play may be curtailed during tournaments.

Everything was great with this house. Had plenty of amenities and very well organized, provided everything that everyone needs when they travel. We booked this house due to its location as we love Sunriver so much. Our family had so much fun riding the provided bikes on the beautiful bike trails and hanging out in the spacious house. Would recommend this house to everyone and hopefully someday we can come back.

Our first time in Sun River, and highly recommend this well stocked property with relaxing outdoor space, looking into the green (from a distance), loved the quick 1 mile bike ride into the village, or river bike loop. Beautiful spacious house had everything we needed for our large group and yet still felt spacious

Janet’s house is the perfect Sunriver getaway. The house itself is so well laid out. It’s comfortable for a large group of adults & kids to enjoy. The AC was much needed during our stay since it was in the 100’s while we were there. The rooms are spread it so it feels really private. Also the hot tub is enormous! The location is perfect. Close to the village but away from the hustle & bustle of Sunriver. This was our second stay at this home and we’ve already booked it for a third time!

My family and I had a blast in a well furnished house. Great location except for the distance for riding bikes to the park. That was a little far but only an 8 minute drive. Would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful and well-stocked home for our family reunion. We spent mornings and evenings visiting on the expansive deck as well as having fun on the trails and river. What a lovely place to share with family!

This place is AMAZING! Perfect in every way. Fully equipped for cooking for a large family and so thoughtful with "forgotten" items. Very convenient for our frequent bike rides. We will absolutely try to book this home next time we get to go to Sunriver. I've stayed in many homes in Sunriver and this is "hands down" the best - all others pale in comparison! Thank you, thank you, thank you. The only thing missing was a guest book for me to write a personal note to the owners.

Overall it was a wonderful stay. Great rooms with comfy beds, beautiful outdoor patio/chairs/hot tub/bbq (though BBQ needed cleaning in order to safely use). Host was responsive. Everything is close to this location and having bikes in the garage for us to use was a big perk - we loved exploring all the trails. We Love Sunriver!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Check in process was easy and the home was ready to go before the actual check in time of 4 PM!! The home was AMAZING! My grandkids enjoyed the bikes and rode everywhere! The hot tub was a hit and I have to say your utensil drawer blew our minds!! So organized and my daughter said “we need this in our home!”, it was beautiful! Funny how a utensil drawer can make someone cry with tears of joy! Lol
The only draw back was the dishwasher, wasn’t sure if it needed maintenance or it was just stained but didn’t want to chance it so we didn’t use it. There was also a couple of other issues with one window and upstairs top bunk but nothing to drastic that would make our stay uncomfortable, we still had a fantastic time!!

We had a great stay. Location was perfect for our biking family. We enjoyed the bikes provided.
House provided ample room for the 8 of us. Would have given 5 stars, but the lack of AC created some sleepless nights. Other issue was an upstairs bed’s mattress, and the linen needs a refresh.
Other than that, the house is perfect. A couple issues were dealt with extremely quickly by Cascara Rentals, which was appreciated.

Overall a nice place to stay. However, dishwasher needs to be replaced, it did not work. Pots and pans are scratched and in poor condition. Mattresses are uncomfortable, basically broken down.

Loved this house!
My family and I have been coming to Sunriver for over 30 years and this house has been one of our favorite stays in recent years! So much space and extra amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. There are two outdoor living spaces and the hot tub is HUGE! We enjoyed the two family-room type spaces in the house as well. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I can't recommend this house enough!

The house was beautiful. stocked to perfection with anything needed or wished for. Fortunately not too hot during our visit. No AC but plenty of fans. Wished for SHARC passes as we accessed the river multiple times and had young teenagers. Lovely, quiet location.

Amazing home in a quite spot
We had such a great time both in the home and of course enjoying Sun River. This home is incredibly well stocked! Next time we won't pack nearly as much stuff as it is all there waiting for you :) I was most surprised at how cool the house stayed for a hot summer week, just perfect.

Wonderful rental house
We had a great time on spring break at this house. We have rented houses in Sunriver every year for the past five years and this was by far the nicest house we have stayed at. This house is stocked with all the little necessities that you might need or want. Dishes, tools, puzzles, games, high chairs, they even had a pack-and-play. My kids loved the bunk beds, foosball table and bicycles. The house is only about a 5 min bike ride on the trails to the village. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely rent here again!

20 yrs renting in sunriver and this home is perfect! Very well stocked with supplies, and dishes etc. Excellent size, lots of room. Loved the foosball. Nice touch are the dog tags.! Love the clear notes about if we forgot anything, we could borrow from the closet. Just incredibly homey and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Cozy, comfortable and convenient!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. There was plenty of space of for everyone. We were able to spread out when needed to. The living room has a very cozy vibe. There are 2 great outdoor, deck spaces to enjoy! The hot tub was a huge hit! The amenities were more than we expected! Fully stocked kitchen, tons of items for babies, bikes to ride, clothes to borrow. They are very thoughtful to the guests that stay in their home. Would highly recommend this home and plan on coming back!

Amazing house, great location, a couple issues
In summary: We loved the house and the location. We kept saying we wished we could buy the house.
Pros: House layout, location, kitchen (fully stocked), room layout. We loved the deck and hot tub.
Cons: It was hot, which is fine, it's sunriver, but in order to cool the house down at night, you need to put fans in the windows and sliding doors. The problem was, in two of the sliding doors, there weren't screens! So you couldn't cool the house down. I would give this a pass, like if the previous occupants broke them, but i specifically saw a previous guest mention it in a review and the owner comment they would fix it.
Also the shower in the downstairs master did not turn on. Very annoying, but we didn't want to have maintenance come during our stay so we made due.
My biggest complaint is that SHARC passes were not included (only two, but our group was a group of 8). It's insane to me that a Sunriver house in the summertime would not include SHARC passes. I didn't realize this when booking, honestly I didn't know I needed to make sure they were included as I assumed ALL houses included them. This was HUGELY disappointing. Once I realized it, the owner seemed willing to work with me, but at that point other houses were all sold out. I understand "covid" as the excuse for everything, but SHARC was open and coming with 4 kids it was one of the main reasons we came to Sunriver. Hugely disappointing.
All in all, would stay here again if SHARC passes were included AND some of the things in the house were fixed. Honestly, we want to buy this house if it ever comes up for sale. We really did love it that much!

Perfect for a family reunion
The property fit our needs well -as a family reunion, there was ample to occupy everyone's needs -bike riding, hiking, hot tube, river floats and rafting. The temperature in the high desert is hot during the day and cool at night, the fact that there is no AC was troublesome the first night until we mastered how to cool down the house quickly. Opened windows with box fans placed on the ledges, cooled down the house well. The property management company was quick to deliver extra towels and look at the dishwasher that needs a minor repair. Our favorite part of the property is the dual outdoor decks with the hot tube sandwiched between - awesome!

Fantastic home to enjoy with family!
We had such a relaxing, fun stay in this home. We’ve never been to a home that was so well stocked with dishes, utensils, games, bikes, dog supplies, and more! It was so nice to see a basket of extra toiletries in bathrooms. We had plenty of room for the 3 couples and our mother to relax, play games, and sleep. We enjoyed the 2 decks with comfortable outdoor furniture and the amazing hot tub. We were a short walk/drive to The Village to enjoy shops and meals.
The only small drawback to this home was lack of A/C and no screens on the large patio doors, making a few hours each day very stuffy inside the home.

Great Location!
We spent the week here for my daughter's birthday and we had a blast! The location was perfect. A short bike ride to the Sunriver Village, close to the river for tubing and swimming, and quick access to tons of biking trails. We loved it!

Great family stay
Stayed here with our family of 4, 2 kids 2 adults. Everyone had a great time, and the house was lovely with lots of space to spread out. Lots of small touches like a high chair and baby gate made it extra accommodating for our baby.
