Top class B&B

We were welcomed like family by Sue and Patrick. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with locally sourced produce, I recommend the fruit salad. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, it was peaceful and quiet but in very close walking distance to restaurants/pubs and centre of Cheltenham

Second excellent stay at Number 8

The Blue Room is lovely. Plenty of space. Lovely comfy bed and bedding. All the little details thought of. The bathroom is big, with a great shower. Breakfast is delicious and it’s always nice to have a quick chat with Sue and Patrick. We’ll be back again.

Beautiful home, presented with love

This is a lovely b&b which we felt immediately at home in. Good shower pressure, comfy bed and lovely decor. It's also in a great location, near the centre and Bath Road but quiet at night. With a delicious home cooked breakfast added in this is great value for money. Thank you 🙏

A great find in a good location, with owners who made the stay a pleasure

The Hotel was small and very comfortable which we like. The Hosts were very pleasant and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was all we could wish for. The location was in a quite street but within a very short stroll to Cheltenham centre. It was so good that we will returning in the near future

Quiet comfortable stay easy walking distance to shops and parks, also able to park outside.

Our only down, was that the bathroom ( which was solely for our use) was not attached to the room, only reason we didn’t give a maximum mark

No 8 = 10 out of 10.

From the moment we arrived Sue and Patrick made us feel totally relaxed and treated us like old friends. We stayed in the Blue Room which was beautifully clean and well appointed; the en-suite bathroom was lovely; the walk-in shower was spectacular- my only problem was not wanting to get out of the shower!!! Breakfast every morning was truly scrumptious; we had the Full English everyday and it set us up wonderfully for the day. The produce used for the breakfast was all locally sourced and tasted amazing; there was no limit to the amount of tea / coffee and toast that we were offered. Truly an amazing place to stay; located less than ten minutes from Cheltenham town centre; and a short drive into the Cotswold Hills. Many thanks to Patrick and Sue for an unforgettable stay.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Cheltenham

Property is very well located being close to the town centre but at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac close to Sandford Lido. On street parking is provided by the very attentive and friendly hosts. The property is tastefully decorated, immaculately maintained and all facilities are provided.

Very minor quibble but the veggie sausages were not to the same high standard as the remainder of the breakfast

Loved our stay with Sue and Patrick who were so friendly and helpful giving us tips on lovely places to visit locally. Food was fantastic and the room pristine. Definitely our go to location next time we are back in Cheltenham and would recommend highly. Thank you Sue and Patrick xx

Simply great!

Patrick and Sue are wonderful and attentive hosts. They prepare an exceptional good breakfast. I also liked the way the house ist furnished and decorated, simply in the best of taste.

Lovely Experience.

First class service. Very clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Parking area was available for our rental car. Great hospitality from Sue and Patrick. I highly recommend the house. Very close to the city and public transport.

Perfect B&B within walking distance of the centre

Everything to like! We were made very welcome and plenty of teas, coffees etc in the rooms as well as glasses, a bottle of water, and some very tasty biscuits! Everything clean and fresh and well thought out. We were in the Blue Room and it was beautifully appointed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Even though main roads weren't far away, and there's a hospital nearby, it was very quiet and pleasant at night. The bathroom was very clean and well looked after with an excellent shower and a good size, too. Breakfast was extremely easy to order, and was very generous in portion and quality. Lots of options and a good range of time slots to eat in. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Easy walking distance to various green spaces and the city centre. We stayed during a very hot weekend and I'd been worried about being too hot, but a very efficient fan was provided and the shutters on the windows were effective at keeping sunlight out. Would definitely stay again, and would absolutely recommend. Thank you for a perfect stay!

beautiful period property that has been decorated beautifully. Loved the breakfast room. location was ideal for accessing everything in the area. breakfast was locally sourced and perfectly cooked 4*

there wasn’t much to dislike - I guess if I had the choice although the attic room was gorgeous I probably wouldn’t want that room again as I have a tendency to fall down stairs and these were quite steep and windy but the room was worth it !

Would return in a heartbeat!

Absolute gem of a B&B! Hosts were exceedingly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The entire place was absolutely spotless and the decor was beautiful. Delicious breakfast with a fantastic choice to order from. Every detail was thought of, all down to slippers and robes to get to the bathroom separate to the room. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable.

Everything and the breakfast was exceptional. Sue and Patrick are so friendly, professional and any task or request is never too much. This little boutique B&B is exceptional and goes over and above of what you expect. Thank you Sue and Patrick for a very pleasant little break, there no doubt you'll see us both again.

Nothing that's comes to mind, what else can I say. This little boutique B&B is exceptional and I personally wish that everyone in the leisure industry paid as much attention and enthusiasm as Sue and Patrick.

Everything was just right. I especially liked the lovely relaxing roll top bath with the yellow room. So relaxing and e everything absolutely spotless. Spacious but cosy room that was beautifully decorated and fantastic facilities. Lovely soft carpet and I slept like a log in the four poster bed. The hosts are incredibly nice and the huge breakfast was 10/10. I liked that the hosts were friendly but not overbearing - a great balance! Overall a fantastic stay and I can see why they're the best reviewed B&B in Cheltenham 🙂

Perfect BnB and a very lovely host!

So comfortable and clean! The attic room is up a lot of stairs but it really is very cosy! The shower is great too. Patrick was extremely accommodating and considerate. The breakfast was really tasty too! It’s very easy to get to. Very quick check in and if I come back, I want to stay here!

Booked for a weekend getaway for my birthday and couldn’t have made a better choice! Sue and Patrick are wonderful hosts and as others have said, the breakfasts are amazing and really do set you up for a day exploring all that the area has to offer. We stayed in the yellow room which is bright and spacious and for us, the separate, private bathroom was perfect! Thank you both for providing such a relaxing environment to spend our weekend. We have no hesitation in recommending Number 8 Cheltenham and hope to return! Best Damon and Jayne

We stayed here recently for 2 nights and found it to be scrupulously clean and extremely comfortable. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful cooked breakfast in the morning. We especially loved the comfortable bed and the fact that it was so quiet at nighttime. Great location to walk to the town centre and even the racetrack.
