Owners were very welcoming, the beds and pillows were really comfortable, they even catered to everyone's dietary needs and the breakfast was great couldn't ask for more. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Thanks

Exceptional!

Trevor was a fabulous host, very welcoming, room was lovely, we staying in the Ryburn room and the loo with a view was fab! Breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order having pre ordered the night before. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved it so much we've already booked to stay again 😍

The building was beautiful and full of character. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed with thoughtful touches. Trevor was a warm and friendly host and the breakfast was excellent. A very restorative stay and we hope to be back at some stage. Great location in the heart of the old village

Lovely B & B

I really liked the owner. He was very welcoming. The accommodation was quaint and very warm for a very cold time of the year. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

beautiful, deceptively huge property. beautiful decor. very tasteful environment. staff are exceptional. beds so comfy! booked for the night before my wedding for myself and the bridesmaids. they couldn’t have done anymore for us. nothing to big and made our stay ever so special. me and my husband can not wait to come and stay. breakfast also just as lovely. best scrambled eggs I’ve eaten!

Excellent in every respect - highly recommended

Friendly welcome, comfortable room, characterful building and village, amazing 750 year-old pub with real ales (I had a pint of "Bread & Butter") just over the pack-horse bridge, and a superb breakfast (I had the "Yorkshire Tubby") - a very memorable stay and I will try to return!

Over the Moon at Over The Bridge

We had such a warm welcome on arrival. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy and I had the River Ryburn running past which was so relaxing Breakfast the next morning was delicious and the helping's were plentiful..

I disliked nothing.

Wonderful experience ,great company ,attention to detail was superb.

Over the bridge is by far the best B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in .The hospitality shown to us by Trevor and Guy was wonderful there is an art to looking after people without being too obtrusive ,whilst on the same token making you feel perfectly relaxed almost like part of the family. The room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean ,and sheets and towels were changed each day . The location is very picturesque with a river running alongside the house and a great boozer /restaurant right on the doorstep. I can not find any fault at all.......

Not a lot to say on this point ,I have tried hard to think of something I did not like ,but to be honest, I can not think of anything . The only thing not so great was the weather ,but I don't suppose Trevor and Guy can do anything about that !

Fantastic guesthouse

Fantastic old style property next to a river, quaint bridge and village. Trevor is a terrific host and couldn’t have done more for us. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful decor in the rooms. Family friendly. Now our favourite guesthouse.

Fantastic breakfast and a wonderful host who couldn't do enough to help. The room had a nice view of the river flowing next to it too.

The room isn't big but was enough for two of us for one night.

Perfect stay

Budget double room very good value. Cool temperature. Lovely view. Beautifully decorated throughout. Breakfast room light and airy, and breakfast choice sufficient. Lady looking after us was very friendly.

Compact shower room. Stayed in suite last time as there were 3 of us and it felt alot more roomy. Would pay extra next time. Missed seeing the owner and his labrador ! As we have stayed several times before.
