This hotel is exceptional value for money.
Rooms are luxurious and modern.
Bathrooms are spacious and modern with a vintage touch of luxury.
Aesthetically decorated.
Staff are highly attentive.
Nayshell and Roshan (apologies if i spelt names incorrectly) went above and beyond to meet my needs and made me feel welcome.
Would definitely return and it was an enjoyable and lovely stay.
Thank you.
Doors being automatic or maybe doorman to open door as the doors can be heavy.

excellent location, wonderful staff
used tissue paper when arrived in the room, and a random liquid from the toilet.

Good area, nice rooms, bed was comfortable and breakfast was good, loved the omelette choice.
Floor was not clean in the room. Staff didn’t inform me of a £50 deposit before coming to stay despite booking weeks in advance.

Asking for £50 upfront but hasn’t even been repaid

Location
There was no Heating on in the room and no milk..would not stop again

The hotel was lovely and clean
The 50 pound deposit at the check in is absolutely absurd even when already paid for the room , when booking it wasn’t mentioned.

Everything was nice but the mattress was broke and we rang reception and his advice was to bring a duvet to top it up I am heavily pregnant and my back the next morning was horrendous

Perfect location - next to Interchange, in city centre, was you walk to Valley Parade.
Lovely old building - beautiful staircase case, lovely wide corridors and large rooms stylish rooms nicely fitted out
Corner room 107 was huge with a large well fitted bathroom. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean.
Tea and coffee in room and very warm - cosy feel.
Breakfast was fantastic as usual - the full English will hold you till the evening !
VFM is excellent.
Just one issue - WiFi in my lovely big corner room just didn’t work at all. I could just a outs make it connect but it was immediately lost. WiFi worked in breakfast room and on previous stays so I know it was just the location of that particular room on the far read of the hotel.

The Hotel had a good location, room was clean, the check out experience with Rohan was good, I need to mention the assistance received from Moroti to get my room changed was quick and much appreciated the room on Level 4 which I was assigned when I checked in had just sky windows, but the room which I was reassigned by Moroti was nice and bright with windows and lot of light. Thank you Moroti.
The room which I was assigned on level 4 which does not have elevator access

The first 2 days were fine we had a nice room and the breakfast was also good. The staff were all very polite and very helpful. We were able to leave our suitcases in the hotel during the 2 day break in the stay.
We asked on "Booking.Com" if we could have a room with a shower as we are both elderly and getting in and out of a bath would be difficult, which was confirmed by booking.com. unfortunately their were only rooms with baths.
On the second part of the visit our room was so tiny that you could hardly walk between the bed and desk, indeed I had to move the chair to get passed. We had arrived from Germany with 2 large suitcases and their was hardly any space to store the cases.
There was no heating in the bathrooms and the windows was letting in a lot of cold air, not only in the bathroom but also in the main room,
Storage space was very little due to having Ironing Boards etc in the wardrobes. (suggest if someone would like an Ironing board that they request one from reception) it would certainly give up more space for clothing etc.

Staff couldn’t do enough for you easy and pleasant to deal with, food excellent hotel great quality , beds comfortable
Not great for disabled guests

It was right in the centre & only a few minutes walk to a venue we were going to a concert. Bar staff very friendly & accommodating when we got back. Lovely hotel clean & comfortable, nice breakfast in the morning. Would stay again
Was a little bit worried that we could be seen in shower or toilet as large window in bathroom that looked out towards train station & just a thin net curtain

The only good thing about the hotel was the location We were collected by coach at 5.30am and thought that this would be the easiest place to stay.
The hotel is run down, unclean and dilapidated. The bedlinen smelled of mould, our room was not clean and it was very run down. The bathroom had a radiator which was not working( our visit was 2nd Jan), the single glazed window did not have a blind or curtain, just a gauze covering which was completely see through when the light was switched on. Goodness knows how you were supposed to use the bathroom without everyone being able to see (our room faced the main road and a very busy pub). To add insult to injury jury a £100 charge was added to our bill in case of damages! It would have been impossible to do that much damage to such a shabby room. I rand the hotel at lunchtime to complain about the standard of the room and was not able to speak to a manger. I was however given an e mail address to make a complaint which I did on 3rd January and I am still awaiting a reply. Bradford is the City of Culture in 2025 and the development of the Odeon is hopefully encouraging people to visit the City but I do not know where they will stay as I could not recommend the Victoria Hotel.

Great breakfast in lovely setting
The hotel was generally clean although my son found old food in his room
Pretty good showers for UK
Front of house service the night we arrived was unhelpful and unwelcoming
We arrived after a long drive in miserable weather to a sour faced young woman who did not say hello welcome nice to see you! Just what’s your name and there’s a 100£ charge put on all 3 rooms
She didn’t explain parking properly and generally was just a limp fish
No please or Thankyou plus really the hotel could have just put a hold on our cards rather than take because they were our Australian credit cards which meant we got charged for 3 separate transactions for each fromom for international exchange rate rubbish
The rooms were cold
Windows dido lose properly there was old food in one room and the beds were pretty average.

I look for few things in a good hotel, comfy bed, hot shower and a decent breakfast - thankfully I managed to get all three during my stay.
Like normal I arrived late to the hotel, friendly chap on the front desk checked me in and sorted my parking out, thankfully the bar was still open for a quick drink, even if it was a little pricy. £6.50 for a pint.
While the bedroom was spotless clean and 95% of the bathroom, the bathroom floor could have been better, there were quite a lot of long hairs on the floor. Normally I'd have told the hotel direct but it was after 1:00am when i went into the room and I just wanted to get my head down.

Location of the hotel was great for accessing the city, very clean with friendly staff, breakfast buffet was lovely.
Bar prices were a little high compared to bars in the area, had a noisy extractor fan in the bathroom but didn’t really affect the stay.
3.8
The staff were lovely and very efficient, loved the view from our window and the grandeur of the old building. Food was really delicious and very well cooked, we had two breakfasts and one extremely enjoyable evening meal.
Decor a little tired, upholstrey on furniture a bit grubby, mattress a little on the hard side.
3.8
Very warm welcome from all staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great!
Soundproofing between rooms/doors could be a bit better, but I wasn't disturbed too much
3.8
Location is good rooms are nice
Couple of niggles this time
My room had someone’s old pop bottle in it and breakfast has moved to 8am this is too late for a working day.
Fridges didn’t work so drinks were warm in the bar.
3.8
Bathroom was clean
Freezing cold room, bathroom radiator didn’t work and only a tiny, completely boxed in radiator in room 208. If I hadn’t brought a hot water bottle I would have been in trouble

Loved the architecture and the lounge. Staff were friendly too! We also had a yummy breakfast!
We had booked a twin for me and mum. Instead there was one double and a sofa bed. Sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable, noisy each time you moved and basically felt like a sheet on metal. We had to share the double which was comfortable but it was disappointing as we had booked a double. Room was also cramped because of the sofa bed being laid out.
