About this apartment rental

Romantic, family-friendly self-catering holiday accomodation with Scandinavian flair in a quiet location in the south-western city of Munich. With the underground only 8 minutes to te Oktoberfest (no change required).

The apartment has a large bedroom with double bed (1,80 m), a Sofa (sofa bed) and sitting area (23 sqm), a dining room with dining area, kitchen, sofa (sofa bed), flat screen televisions, DVD players and stereo equipment, a bathroom (4 sq.m. ), a dressing room (4.5 m) with modern sliding doors and a heated oven. All rooms are on the ground floor (first floor). Outside, there is a stone patio with east exposure (17 sqm). The flat has no garden. In the house there is only this one apartment.

Because of the location of the accommodation in the south-west part of Munich, you easily reach all highways south / mountains and do not have to cross the city. The property is therefore ideally suited for day hikes and day ski excursions. At the same time the property is connected directly and perfectly with the city center. The journey time from the subway to Marienplatz Aidenbachstraße is only 12 minutes. With a bicycle you can travel directly nearby the river Isar in the city center.

Would HIGHLY recommend this place! A beautiful guest house behind the owners house. Parking is on the street - which for us (coming from Florida) was a little different. The place I thought was pretty large - much bigger than the pictures showed in the listing. The bed was very comfortable. You can tell they put in the time to think of what people would need while on vacation. Local places to eat as well. We we were there for the Christmas markets so took the public transportation a lot. The public transportation was great and pretty close to the place. Owners were amazing. We ended up needing an extra night due to the snow storm and being unable to leave. We were able to arrange with them to stay one more night. Thank goodness! They are quick to respond to any questions. Internet speeds were quick (I had to work and we streamed shows).

Located in a family friendly neighborhood, we had 4 adults stay comfortably. A five minute walk from bus stop. Andreas was a very welcoming and helpful host. We would love to stay here again.

The house was very quaint. The layout a little odd, having others stay on the pullout in the living room , as the only bathroom is off the living room. It was spacious enough and worked for the amount of time we were there. The Own was great, she answered all our questions. We had no issues at check in or chsck out.

Andreas and his family are super nice. We had enough bed and space for 4 adult-sized people. Current furniture arrangements required one of our adult children to be in the master bedroom with us. Bathroom is super clean and nice. Kitchen quite nicely appointed. No laundry, if that is important to you. Loved the table and sitting area on the front patio, loved the flower archway to the place. If you are relying on public transportation, you are a short walk to the bus and a short ride to the U-Bahn. On Sunday, however, bus service seemed unavailable in the afternoon, or quite spaced out because per the public transportation schedule app, we needed to walk the ca. mile back to the house from the U-Bahn after a day sightseeing. We did have a rental car and there is ample parking. I did like the location for our purposes: close enough to city to take public transportation to the center while being outside (and south) enough for convenient access to southbound autobahn for day trips to paragliding, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, etc. Traffic through the city does get pretty packed and slow, especially at peak times. We were about 40 min from the airport, and didn’t have a problem getting there before rush hour with our rental. Sometimes communication response lagged, but always friendly, always helpful, and everything always worked out. So glad we found this secluded gem. A nice more local (but becoming more known) Biergarten was a 5-10 min drive through the residential area, and included live music. The Waldwirtschaft (“WaWi” per locals, and remember the German “w” is an English “v” sound) All in all, wonderful, will be glad to stay again.

Hi, Ideal location for us to have cycling day adventures and enjoy the Munich outdoor swimming pools. Our boys loved the house and Andreas and family were wonderful hosts. Fully recommend.

A beautiful cottage behind the owner house. The property was big enough for the both of us. Bed room is very big, bright and spacious. Bed is very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are full of extra supplies if needed. Kitchen has adequate cookware. Lots of dinnerware and silverware. The bathroom is spacious and quite clean. Bright and comfortable house. Internet speed is very good. It is about 5 min walk to the bus stop and about 30 min bus ride with subway transfer to Marienplatz. There is a very good and inexpensive supermarket about 5 min walk from the apartment, we got all of our groceries from there. Andreas and his family are very hospitable. They are very helpful and respond to our questions fast. The apartment is very quiet with lots of plants and greens around it.

This very comfortable cottage was everything and more then Andreas, our host, described on his listing on the VRBO web site. A very well equipped kitchen, a great location with good access to public transportation, and a host who was very helpful with tips on where to eat and local points of interest.
