This property exceeded our expectations. It was lovely! Teresa thought of every detail to make things as warm and comfortable as possible. It’s obvious she takes great pride in the property- she should. It’s clear she works very hard to create a great experience. We had such a warm welcome.
Every detail was considered. Every item high quality. Every space smelled incredible. Linens were wonderful. Shower gel to pillows on sofa- things were perfect.
The space was a great romantic getaway. We loved watching sunrise and sunset from the property. We had planned to do more in town, but enjoyed the property so much we cancelled dinner reservations and got takeout to be at home more. We loved walking. Watching the deer. And, a highlight was watching the sunset and the moonrise from the comfort of the hammock. We hope to go back soon!! Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay at The Guest House! This gorgeous home is located in the middle of Horse Country and surrounded by rolling farmland. We enjoyed the evenings on the private porch. The sunsets from the kitchen window were spectacular. We loved using the latte and cappuccino coffee maker. The home had all the amenities we needed and more. Many thanks to Teresa for being such an attentive host! Your attention to detail is off the charts!

This was our second week-long stay at the Guest House. We absolutely love staying here. It is very peaceful, cozy, charming, and has everything we need. Teresa and her husband are wonderful hosts. My daughter was showing at the National Horse Show at the KY Horse Park - we absolutely adore the easy, beautiful drive to the show. I spent many years in Lexington during my earlier horse show days, and the Guest House is the perfect way to enjoy the area once again.

Beautiful guest house
I didn’t receive a welcome letter that had instructions on getting into the house. That caused a bit of worry, however once we got in contact with the owner it was smooth sailing. The house is beautiful and it was perfect for a girls long weekend together.

Terrific Experience
We experienced the true character of Lexington during our stay at The Guest House. The house and huge acreage is beautiful, and in an incredible area with many very large horse farms. We were attending the National Horse Show at the Horse Park every day - the drive to/from was breathtaking with farms and fall foliage. The cottage is very charming and comfortable - we loved the feel of staying on the farm outside of downtown. The location is great for the Horse Park or an easy drive to downtown for dinner. We will most definitely stay at the Guest House again on a future trip to Lexington.
