About this apartment rental
Casa Ivana is a cozy and bright apartment located on the 2nd floor of a centrally located building where close by you can find supermarkets, bars, banks, shops, restaurants and all the amenities that you may need to make the most out of your stay in Sorrento.
Casa Ivana is accessible by elevator or by stairs and has a large and bright living room with a comfortable sofa and a sofa bed for an additional sleeping, a flat screen television and a balcony. From there a corridor leads you to a small kitchen with a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a kettle, plates and cutlery, a small dining table with chairs and all the other accessories you will need to be able to cook, from the kitchen you have a direct access to the rear balcony.
Along the corridor you find the two bedrooms, one is double and the other has three single beds; there are also two family bathroom with toilet, sink, bidet, shower and hairdryer.
Casa Ivana can comfortably accommodate five people and is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Casa Ivana furthermore is extremely close to the train station, the bus terminal and the Sorrento port therefore represent the perfect spot for those who wants to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Isle of Capri that we suggest to visit booking a private boat trip or the Amalfi Coast with its picturesque villages of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
We do recommend our guests not to book a car; Casa Ivana is so centrally located that makes the use of a car absolutely unnecessary. For a local excursion you can always book a private car for the day and enjoy the Amalfi coast for instance or maybe an archeological area guided by experts of the area.
Should you come by car anyway there is a private parking at approximately 5 minutes walking from the house.
Our staff will be available throughout your stay to provide you with information on excursions, boat trips, culinary experiences and much more

We ended up not staying at this actual property due to construction work but our host was able to get us an alternate location and it was fantastic. Very accommodating for us.

We were changed to this unit because the one we booked was still having repairs completed. The change was seemless on our end. My group loved being met upon arrival and appreciated the help with the suitcases (it was a spiral staircase). It was only a 7 minute walk to town (easier going to than back - but hey, the hills of Sorrento are part of the experience). We would stay again.

Our apartment was beautiful and close to Piazza Tasso. Staff who met us at check-in were so friendly, offered help with a simple map, restaurant recommendations, offered to make dinner reservations and helped us to book a boat tour to Capri. They were responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. We really enjoyed Sorrento!

Our original VRBO Casa Ivana was changed due to issues with the property, however we were taken care of and put in another unit on Corso Italia! It was absolutely beautiful !!!! The view from the balcony was beyond amazing ! The 5 stars are for the property we stayed at. Unfortunately I can’t rate Casa Ivana, but I will say that our host Davide was amazing and I highly recommend him. Grazie Mille

We had a wonderful stay in our beautiful villa. Host was attentive and a great communicator from the day we booked until the day we left. Would recommend to others!

Enjoyed sorrento from this location

The apartment is located in close proximity to the main downtown area (2 minute walk) and along a main road where coffee shops are plentiful. There is an elevator to assist with taking baggage upstairs and air conditioning in the unit. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay and not interested in the view or luxury amenities, this apartment is perfect.

A nice and spacious flat. Very central but still not in the middle of all the shops and hotels. Close to grocery store just 15 min walk away. Unfortunately they were working on the building so the entrance were not nice but we didn’t notice this whilst in the flat.
I thought there would be a private parking space but it wasn’t. We could park in a nearby parking area that we had to pay fore ( although you don’t need a car in Sorrento, there are a train everywhere you want to go.)
The biggest complaint I have is the cleaning though. The toilet wasn’t clean at all and there were dirty plates and glasses in the cupboard in the kitchen.
There was a book on the table with information about train time tables and so forth but that information was from 2015 or even earlier.

A nice spacious apartment in Sorrento. Suited us well as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Very good location with the centre of the town a short walk away. It is also close to the train station which offers a regular service to Pompeii and Naples.

Nice, clean apartment close to Piazza Tasso. Had a small issue with the stove not lighting, but the management was extremely responsive. Nicolo and Santina were absolutely wonderful. Santina even made us dinner one night! This is a great place to stay.

This unit was lovely, spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. The balconies were such a nice feature . Lovely place to have coffee in the morning and Happy Hour before going out for dinner
David’s is a great host who came to meet us was so helpful with suggestions of things to see and do as well as names of nearby restaurants. He also was so helpful in booking a Amalfi tour coast!
We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone we know travelling to Sorrento

Well located to the center of Sorrento
This apartment was well located near the center of Sorrento close to markets, bank ATM. Large clean apartment with washer. A little dated but very charming.

Wonderful Place To Stay!
We were so comfortable at this apartment. It was perfect for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers who had their own bed. Everything was comfortable and great. The location is central without being noisy. There are grocery stores nearby (including a fresh pasta shop nextdoor) where we go food from every evening to cook at the apartment. Both bedrooms have AC which is key. Loved our stay. Will stay here again.

Good area, a little more tourist trap then I expected
The property was fine but the town was disappointing to me. It was just shy of a Disneyland version of a real town on the coast of Italy. Just send money and quit expecting a kind cultural exchange.

Missing Sorrento
Davide’s apartment was awesome. He greeted us upon arrival and gave us the low down on the local markets restaurants etc.
Like we read in a lot of the other reviews our only regret was that we could not stay longer.
Viva Italia! Ciao

Exceeded expectations in every way.
Wonderful quiet location, easy walk to all of the important sites. Beautiful, old world decor. Large apartment, with huge deck and spacious bedrooms.

Great location
My two cousins and I stayed in this fantastic apartment for 5 nights. We all liked being close to town, but far enough away for it to be fairly quiet in the evenings. The apartment was very clean, big and comfortable. All three of us loved this apartment! We enjoyed the town of Sorrento with it's nice shops and restaurants and also the easy day trips from here to Pompeii and Capri.
Checking in and out was easy. Davide answered our emails and texts promptly and also helped us to arrange for a taxi back to the Naples train station. Thank you so much for doing this.
We would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends and would gladly stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to this beautiful place.

Spacious Quaint Flat
The flat in Sorrento was quite spacious. With five adults, we had plenty of room to spread out. The location is off the main strip, which we liked because it was a little less busy and loud. I was 6 months pregnant and could easily make the walk to the town proper and all the attractions.
Wifi was available, but not too strong, so we didn't have service in the second bedroom. A/C units worked wonderfully! Showers were satisfactory... even with a baby belly to maneuver around.
Absolutely ask about the local restaurants the recommend. We went to three of the locations and they were absolutely amazing!
I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if we go back.

Bigger than it looks in the photos, this apartment is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. There were 6 of us (two families plus a friend) and used both bedrooms (master bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with 3 twin beds), and also the living room which has a large, queen-sized, comfortable sofa bed. Because the living room has a door, it was easy to use as a 3rd bedroom. Everyone reported that the beds were very comfortable (and we were there 6 nights). The vestibule (entry way) has seating for 4 (and the best wifi reception) so we used that as a cozy casual seating area. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of dishes and cutlery, microwave and dishwasher. We did several loads of laundry. The apartment included such nice touches as plenty of dish soap, loads of towels, laundry soap, a hairdryer, tour books and transportation schedules. As others noted, there are 3 nice balconies and wonderful airflow through the apartment. We had breakfast outside several days. The location of this apartment is perfect. About a 5-minute walk from the main shopping/restaurant area of Sorrento, but off the tourist track. Easy walk to buses (for the Amalfi coast), train (Pompeii and Naples) and boats/hydrofoil (Capri). Grocery stores, wine shops, gelato, ATMs were very convenient, and Davide provided us with a map marking everything. The traffic in Sorrento is busy with lots of Vespa’s – we used earplugs for the master bedroom and sleeping in the living room and heard no noise. The room with twin beds is open to a courtyard and very quiet. Davide’s English is fine and he met our train and took us to the apartment. Everything about the apartment was easy, including booking, check in, check out. Good value for money. Recommend Emilia’s (Da Emilia) at the Puerto Marina – wonderful, fresh seafood. Fresh bass was amazing, also mixed fried seafood. Also recommend I Giardini di Tasso off the main street in the old town. It was hard to find but the lemon ravioli, stuffed zucchini flowers where fantastic. It is in the middle of a lemon grove and the owner/chef will give you a personal tour after dinner.

Ciao Davide

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location!
What a find this apartment was! Three girlfriends stayed here 5 nights. The beds were the most comfortable we had on our 33 day vacation in Italy. The apartment was huge, spotless, very well appointed and had not one but 3 terraces. The location is a 10 minute walk to the bus and train station and a 10 minutes walk to the main square - perfectly situated. Although correspondence was intermittent, Davide met us at the apartment and welcomed us with local information and maps. Only one word of advice - although recommended, DO NOT eat at 5 Sisters Restaurant at Marina Grande. It was the worst meal we had on our entire trip and the woman running the restaurant was very pushy. Davide also recommended a great travel agent in town and they arranged a fabulous tour of the Amalfi in an 18-seater bus. Don't take the big buses - they can't get down the narrow streets so park you at the top. Also, have a drink at the Foreigner's Club in Sorrento (sounds awful I know but isn't) where the Tourist Information is - fabulous view! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great experience in Sorrento.

Fabulous apartment and location
Three of us stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights. We were presently surprised that there was not one but three terraces! The apartment was very clean, modern and well appointed. The beds were heaven - the most comfortable we had on our month long Italy vacation. Although communication with Davide was intermittent he was very helpful once we arrived with maps, many suggestions for eateries and a travel agent that arranged a great tour of the Amalfi Coast in an 18-seater bus (don't take the big buses!), Only one word of advice - DON'T eat at 5 Sisters at Marina Grande - worst meal of our entire trip. A great place for a view and a drink in the afternoon is The Foreigner's Club (I know it sounds awful but it's not). It is also where the Tourist Information office is located. The location of this apartment is perfect! It is a 10 minute walk to the train and bus station and the main square but far enough away to be quiet.

outstanding apartment
We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights with our 2 teenage sons. The apartment is amazing, very modern and clean with everything you could need. The location is perfect for exploring Sorrento and spending time at the beach. It's just a short walk to the City Centre and much better than being right in the heart of things. 5 minutes and you are there with everything at your disposal. The balconies were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a view of the mountains. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely come back. Davide was a very helfpul host as well.
