Tehidy Townhouse gets its name from the Cornish translation of a place of retreat, and this is exactly what is offered. It is a neat and tidy 2-storey villa that has been thoughtfully set up with your relaxation in mind. Recently renovated, it is fully self-contained with two bedrooms, a two-way bathroom, laundry, second separate toilet and fenced rear courtyard to relax in and enjoy a family BBQ.
On the entry-level, you will find the reverse cycle air-conditioned open-plan dining, lounge room and kitchen. The laundry with washing machine and separate toilet are located on the ground floor too. There is a TV with built-in DVD player and fast NBN WiFi to ensure entertainment for all when the sun goes down.
The upper level features two bedrooms, the main with a queen bed and its own full-width balcony. The master also features reverse cycle air conditioning and access to the two-way bathroom. Bedroom two caters to an additional three guests with a tri-bunk, which has a queen bed on the bottom and king single on top. There is a reverse cycle, split system in this room for added comfort.
The tranquil and private, fully fenced rear courtyard has a BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy the peaceful afternoon. The courtyard also has a clothesline available for guest use.
One street away (with direct path access) you will find 'Kiama Village' shopping centre, hosting more than 14 specialty shops including Woolworths Supermarket and Bottle Shop, Bakers Delight, Michel's Patisserie, Coffee Guru and Amcal Pharmacy to name a few.
For those wanting to explore our wonderful diverse area, 10 minutes west of the property, you will find the small charming country town of Jamberoo, home to the famous Jamberoo Action Park and Minnamurra Rainforest!
Located in a central but quiet street, you will find one allocated car spot in front of Tehidy Townhouse and another in the garage. There is plenty of off-street parking for additional vehicles. Please be aware that the driveway is steep.

Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. This property is comfortable and well described, with a well-equipped kitchen (although previous tenants had not washed some dishes all that well). Thoughtful inclusions such as a good instruction manual and even ethical toilet paper were very welcome. The townhouse is well located near central Kiama and beaches, etc. We were not so happy to find some lights out of action - notably in the garage and the master bedroom.

We loved our stay at Tehidy Townhouse. It was cosy and comfortable with aircon units in all rooms. The location right behind woollies was super convenient and we could walk down the main street and to the blowhole with ease. I would stay again!!

We loved our stay! Great location, easy check in and process and very tidy neat place. We had 3 children including a 12 month old so the stairs were a little tricky with her wanting to see how good of a climber she was but we would definitely stay here again once she’s a bit older :)

My family and I enjoyed staying at Tehidy. The beds were comfortable and all the necessary elements to make our stay pleasant were on hand. The location was fabulous- close to the main street of Kiama with a supermarket across the road.

Kiama is lovely. This is a poorly planned and built town house in an average location (behind a supermarket - though this was convenient too). No natural light downstairs. However, we were warm and comfortable and had everything we needed - except a tea towel :)

True to its name!
'Tehidy' (translated: 'a place of retreat') does live up to its name. The location is convenient and central, yet quiet. Proximity to Woolies is a real bonus! The townhouse is tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary gadgets, appliances and BBQ. My family and I enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Daughter and friends loved it.
Had a little trouble, initially, when I booked early check in 6 weeks in advance, only to be told it was cancelled one week before. Due to a booking that was made only one before. Whilst I made the booking weeks earlier. This was refunded. The early check-in was refunded which I'm still waiting for. Besides th ous discrepancy my daughter's bday was a blast.

Cosy and great location
After booking a motel for a 2 night stay that was small and dated I came across this gem instead for only $30 more and thought I’d rather stay in a townhouse than a box motel and I was so impressed when I opened the door as it had a homely feel straight away with modern decor and walking distance to everything........ we never used our car during our 2 night stay. You will love to place for either a romantic getaway or with friends or family as it suits them all. Thanks for such a memorable stay and looking forward to my next return stay

A lovely stay with all the conveniences
We had a lovely weekend stay at Tehidy Townhouse. It is set back on a quiet street but so close to everything we needed. We could walk to the shops, cafes, parks and beach.
The townhouse had everything we needed to be comfortable so it was nice just to stay in as well.
