A quaint, quiet, and comfortable old cottage with nice views outside of Doolin.
The cottage is very quaint with a nice view. It was quiet and fairly private and interesting to stay in such an old building. It has been restored and updated and was warm and comfortable. We were very pleased to have the washer and dryer to use. Having the small woodstove in the seating area was also nice, though we didn't end up using it. We stayed just two nights and I wish we had stayed a bit longer to fully enjoy both the cottage and the area. The bed was comfortable . There was a lot of literature and information about the local area and places to visit provided, which was helpful.
I only have minor suggestions about how the place might be improved. There is a picnic table and a nice outside area; it would have been great to have some other, more comfortable seating options to enjoy the area outside; perhaps some Adirondack chairs or similar. The kitchen had instant coffee and some tea along with powdered creamer I think, but it might have been nice if a few other basics were provided; e.g. some milk/cream for tea, oils, spices, salt, pepper, sugar etc. in case someone wanted to cook. Some airbnbs also provide small snacks. I might also suggest a bit more decoration. I understand that the simple decoration was in keeping with the old stone cottage, but the grey utilitarian carpet and lack of wall decor made the place a little less warm and inviting than it might otherwise be. I would also add some lamps in the living room rather then relying on only overhead lighting.

Beautiful sweet house in an idyllic setting.
Really beautiful little house in the countryside. A renovated original Irish cottage. Very quiet area - you need a car but very near Doolin and Lisdoonvarna. Very comfortable
Overall a lovely stay - just two small things I missed A little shelf under the mirror in the small bedroom would be handy for make up or a dressing table. A full length mirror, a flipper for frying eggs and a few more tea towels. But hey, these are small things. Totally recommend the house

A complete refreshment of the soul!
this is a dreamy little haven in a stunning part of Ireland. The cottage is one of a collection and I think it is the best. The attention to detail was beautiful, they have kept is as authentic as possible combining with all the comforts of a modern home. A truly delightful find, I will stay again. You do need to drive or get a taxi into Doolin to eat but as the village is spread out, there seems to be an excellent local taxi service. Ask the hosts for advice. Its a short drive. We drove down for the evening & got a taxi home, then had a lovely morning walk to collect the car. Its all very easy! Hosts were super with recommendations for dinner too.

Cozy atmosphere. Pretty view. Short drive to the villages. Make sure to have a form of transportation (car, bike) to enjoy the Cave and reach the port.
