About this apartment rental

On the edge of Limonta / Oliveto Lario our house is located below the road from Lecco to Bellagio. Through our garden you have direct access to the beach or Lake. Next to our neighbors is a small forest. Therefore, our beach is only accessible from one side of the beach and for this reason also very quiet and almost as a private beach.
There are 2 apartments available; a 3-room apartment. and a 1 Zi.App.
3-Zi.-Whg .: From the living room and the large terrace you have a clear view of the lake and the mountains; in clear weather up to the 3000m of the Alps in the north
The terrace is big enough to serve as a "dining room". A large awning protects the breakfast from the rising directly opposite the house sun.
The apartment has about 75 m2 living space plus about 20m2 terrace In the living room is a double sofa bed, leather armchair, stool, dining table with chairs, wardrobe, TV and fireplace
In the bedroom 1 is a double bed, 2 bedside tables and a large wardrobe; Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, 1 wardrobe and a private sink.
The 1-Zi.-Appartement as 3. Bedroom (1-Zi.-App.) With private shower-bath and toilet and a kitchenette is from 7 people included in the rent, but can also be rented separately.
The bathroom has a washing machine. The kitchen is relatively small. Domestic equipments:
Fridge-freezer; 4 plates electric stove with oven; Dishwasher; Microwave; Water heater; Toaster; Coffee machine; Pots and pans; 12-fold crockery, as well as small utensils.
The house is located on an east-facing slope, so that in the evening the sun does not reach our house and thus does not heat up. So you can sleep well at night, because the house does not heat up.
Above the house parking is available in a lockable parking lot.

The house is located below the road, a natural stone staircase leads to a 30 sqm, partially covered sun terrace with a large parasol and a barbecue. There are 2 tables and enough chairs available.
The terrace is right on and 2 meters above the gravel beach.
On the beach is a 2 m wide about 20 m long (depending on the water level) boat ramp on which you can go very well into the water and play on the children very much. Depending on the season and water level, the water depth at the end of the ramp is 0.3 to 2m
On the beach you can make right and left small beach walks.(except at high water level)
On the beach there is - when we are present - a surfboard available.
The water temperature in May is usually below 20 ° C, but in June exceeds the 20 ° mark.
In July and August, the water temperature can reach 28 ° C, but is usually 24 ° -25 ° C.
After a north wind with heavy waves, the water temperature can temporarily drop a few degrees.
The location of the house is particularly interesting for boaters, because for boats directly in front of the house against calculation a solid buoy is present, which belongs to the small marina, which can be seen in the photos. Depending on the size of the boat and the water level, there are various possibilities for slipping
You always have your boat in sight from the terrace of the house
A light morning wind from the north is used by many tenants for learning (practice), windsurfing and sailing. The northern wind usually falls asleep during the morning, and then blows (usually) in the afternoon as a thermal wind from opposite direction with magnitude 3-4.
(for advanced users a good opportunity to surf or sail over the lake once (about 3 km)
In the evening, the wind usually falls asleep and you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the many lights of the opposite places with pleasant temperatures and a glass of wine until late at night.
For paragliders there is a great flying area (Monte Cornizzolo) in just 25 minutes. Travel time between Lecco and Como.

One of our priorities is having a good view and this property delivered. Having a large outside area that can be covered when it rains was wonderful. The cost of the view is there are many stairs, which wasn't an issue for us but could be be for certain people. We did have a car to drive around the area, so I don't know how feasible getting around from this property would be with another mode of transportation.

We feel the most fortunate to have found this home! A wonderful stay directly on the lake with the kindest hosts. Andrea and Jörg made us feel at home with their generous hospitality and care. The apartment was perfectly clean, the views fabulous from the terrace and living area, kitchen well stocked for all cooking needs, and the washing machine was a bonus! Being directly on the lake to swim and relax was majestic; towels and lounge chairs provided! There are a variety of options to enjoy the lake via the stairs to the waterfront, the terrace near the lake or the terrace at the apartment. We enjoyed spending time in this quiet oasis, away from the busier areas, although Bellagio is a short drive away with markets, restaurants, shops, and a ferry that can take you to other destinations around the lake. We had a safe spot off the main road to park the car and a short, beautiful walk takes you to the old village of Limonta. Besides being lovely people, Andrea and Jörg communicated efficiently, were quite helpful and informative about the surrounding area. They take good care of their property and it shows. Gut ausgestattete Wohnung,mit grosser Terrasse u. Blick auf den See,da das Ufer nur an wenigen Stellen zugänglich ist,war uns die Lage u.der direkte Zugang zum See besonders wichtig. Wer im Urlaub seine Ruhe haben will u.gleichzeitig in der Umgebung schöne Ausflugsziele sucht,ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Hade en bra vistelse trots lite sämre väder, men det fungerade bra iom den korta resvägen till staden. Närheten till egen strandremsa var trevligt. Även enkelt att ta färjan med bil om man vill se sig omkring även på andra sidan av Comosjön.

Lees de omschrijving op VRBO op deze woning en je hebt het totaalplaatje. Alles klopt. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw, Jorg en Andrea, zijn enorm aardig en maken van je vakantie daar ook echt vakantie. Het huis is erg netjes en het balkon is heerlijk ruim. Je moet wel goed trappen kunnen lopen, zowel naar boven naar de auto als naar beneden naar het strandje. Maar het uitzicht maakt dat je dit er heel graag voor over hebt.

wir hatten im Juni zwei Wochen Urlaub bei wunderbarem Wetter, mit ganz toller Aussicht (Berge, See) von der riesigen Terrasse der Ferienwohnung aus, aber auch von der Terrasse am Badestrand. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ließ eigentlich nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das meiste was man sich wünscht war vorhanden (Liegestühle, deutschsprachige Programme beim Fernseher u.a.). Leider war ein Internetanschluß noch nicht vorhanden, was aber dem Urlaub nicht groß Abbruch tat. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, um andere Orte zu bereisen (die Straßen sind vorsichtig zu befahren - sehr eng und kurvig). Bellagio ist nur ein Katzensprung entfernt. Von dort fahren auch diverse Fähren und es gibt super Eis. Für ganz Lauffaule und Kinder steht dort auch eine kleine Touristenbahn zur Verfügung, die eine Rundfahrt durch den Ort macht. Wir waren auch in Mailand, Belano und Como - alles gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch eine kleine Rundfahrt um den halben See ist möglich. Der Einkauf in Bellagio war problemlos. Dort gibt es gleich zwei Supermärkte. Ansonsten war viel baden und schwimmen angesagt, bei ab und an mal höheren Wellen, was ein Riesenspaß für unseren 6jährigen Enkel bedeutete, der auch sonst mit Seilbahn, Autofähre u.a. auf seine Kosten kam. Schade war nur, dass das Floß noch nicht im Wasser war, aber wir hatten uns vorsichtshalber ein Schlauchboot mit Rudern mitgenommen, welches seine Dienste tat. Auch Badeschuhe sind nützlich. Die Nachbarn waren sehr hilfsbereit z.B. bei der Frage der Mülltrennung (schwarze Säcke für Hausmüll, Lila Säcke für Kunststoff). Das Bad sollte man nicht abschließen, wir hatten einmal ganz schöne Probleme um die Tür wieder aufzubekommen und bei den Schiebetüren in der Küche muß man Vorsicht walten lassen beim auf- und zuschieben, sie sind nur in eine Schiebeleiste eingehängt. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein super Urlaub und wir danken den Vermietern für ihre nette Hilfe per e-mail im Vorhinein und die Möglichkeit dieses wunderbaren Aufenthaltes. Familie Ritter

We had amazing vacation in Limonta. Very beautiful, clean place to stay and spend vacation. We travelled (by car) to Bellagio, Varenna, Lecco, Como. Amazing gardens, Italian food, friendly people, and very compfortable house in Limonta.

Terrasse mit fantastischer Aussicht

Schöne Ferienwohnung, die der Beschreibung entspricht, insbesondere komplett funktionierende Ausstattung (Fernseher mit deutschen Programmen, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine). Das Haus ist in den Berg gebaut und mitten in der Natur. Es waren leider ein paar tote und lebendige Insekten in der Wohnung. Die Terrasse ist riesig und man hat eine traumhafte Aussicht auf See und Berge. Am kleinen Strandabschnitt (Steine und Betonrampe) konnten wir mit unserem Kind wunderbar spielen und mit dem Schlauchboot los fahren. Es liegt alles sehr abgeschieden, wir waren immer allein unten am Strand. Die Straßen sind extrem eng und kurvig, sowie meist ohne Gehsteig, man kann sich also nur mit Auto fort bewegen, und auch das ist nicht ganz ungefährlich... Bellagio ist in unmittelbarer Nähe (5 min mit dem Auto) und absolut sehenswert. Von dort kann man auch mit den Fähren die anderen See-Abschnitte erreichen. Die Vermieter aus Bremen haben ihre Ferienwohnungen im oberen Hausteil. Wir haben sie auch kennen gelernt, sie waren unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit.
