We loved the style of the property and the decoration it felt like home from home. The owners had put up Christmas decorations which was lovely. The bed was really comfy. It is situated on the harbour so great for walks and restaurants. Would stay here again.

The wood burning fire added such a cosy feel. Great location near harbour and restaurants, right on footpath to war memorial and Dunnottar castle. Lots of lovely handpainted art in the property.
Sign on window advertising property meant passers-by often stopped to peer in during our stay which was a little unnerving for our older relative. Staircase is quite steep so be mindful of that if travelling with anyone who had mobility issues.

Perfect location.

the location is as good as it gets. set 1 row back from the harbour front to alleviate any noise when it gets busy.
the cottage has a great feel to it, with a cozy fireplace and comfortable living quarters
we didn’t like the feather down duvets. feathers got everywhere. also the smoke detectors go off a lot when your cooking because you can’t open a window in the kitchen. there is only an extractor fan.

Location was perfect, a brief walk to the centre of the town. Within 20 yards of the harbour with some nice local restaurants and bars. Nice any cosy, the proprietor provided log for the fire which made my stay even more pleasant. They also did a shop for me as I was arriving late and the local supermarket would be shut, this was a huge help and very much appreciated.
Nothing all was as described

The cottage was beautiful, very clean and cosy in a perfect location to explore Stonehaven. Has everything you would need on holiday and the log burner was just what we needed after being out in the cold.
Absolutly nothing to dislike about this lovely cottage.

The cottage was full of character and I liked how close we were to the harbour and beach. The cottage was immaculate and well equipped for a relaxing break.

all pretty good
we had no heating we arrived, due to the previous occupants messing it up and also taking away the remote control for the DVD’s which meant my grandson couldn’t watch his DVD’s, but after leaving a few messages the owner arrived and sorted it out, the other thing was that the fridge was cleaned with disinfectant that was probably not for fridges, smelt awful but apart from that a nice stay.

The location of the cottage was amazing ! We loved the big dining table to enjoy are meals on , and the wood burner in the sitting room was lovely and cosey in the evenings ! The walk to the castle straight out of the front door was a real treat !
The only things we didn't like were the lack of a outdoor space to sit out in , being unable to open any windows downstairs to let some fresh air thew , plus could have done with a few more fire liters and kindlig to get the fire started . And the feather beding afetced my son an i because of mild asthma .

The location is perfect. Right next to the Harbour with a couple of decent bars and restaurants and a nice stroll along to the shops. The house is beautiful with a really nicely proportioned rooms. Everything was great apart from a couple of things below
There was a nice sized utility room next to the kitchen with a tiny useless fridge too small to hold a milk carton, that only had a freezer compartment capable of holding a small bag of peas. There was no kitchen roll supplied either which really annoys me when you arrive at a holiday let. (Seems petty, but makes life very easy at a small price).

Loved the proximity to the harbour and cosy living room.
Wasn’t aware the duvets/pillows were going to be feather. A couple of members of my family have mild allergies.
