Cozy, clean, spacious

We enjoyed our family vacation at this cabin. 4 adult couples and 3 of our dogs enjoyed the property. Only complaint no basement bathroom
4.5
Stayed 2 nights. 7 adults 1 dog. Couldve used another bathroom.
4.5
Very nice stay, was looking for more seclusion but it lived up to the listing. More notification on not having internet, we went 2 days without due to router not being reset on arrival. Close to the state park which was a big plus.
4.5
This was exactly what we were looking for and it was as advertised. 4 separate bedrooms so everyone had their own space. We used the fire pit, hot tub, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything but the food :)
4.5
Cabin was great but the outside smelled like septic every few minutes. Didn't ruin the trip but made sitting around the firepit and in the hot tub much less pleasant. No response from property manager when I reached out. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if the septic issue is resolved.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. However, there are a few items that need attention. 1. The Dishwasher top shelf is broken which affects the wash cycle. 2. All the bathroom towels were the lowest quality I have ever experienced in a rental cabin. They were rough and like rags I use to was the car with at home. 3. The two plastic trash cans, to be kept out on the back porch, were easily knocked over one night of our stay by a heavy rain and the raccoons tore open every plastic bag inside and everything was strewn all over the back porch. We cleaned it up and tried to secure the cans the next couple of nights. Why are you not using metal, heavy duty cans with locking lids? 4. in the hot tub, a number of the jets seemed to be broken or putting out very little power. 5. It was advertised that the cabin had internet which we counted on. None of us got more than 1 bar and sometimes no bars even while switching to Wifi. This was difficult as we were planning on communicating with family in Columbus while we were gone.
With all that said, we had a great time with family. Hope you can improve your cabin so it will be a 5-star experience for future customers.

Cabin was nice, but was very cramped for the 10 people who stayed. There were enough beds for everyone, but not enough living room seats for everyone. The parking area was congested for the 3 cars we had during our stay. The kitchen was small as well. The basement was freezing and the upstairs bedroom was hot and stuffy. We didn't spend our days in the cabin so we made it work for the 4 days we were there. The location was great - within 10 minutes of everything in Hocking Hills.
4.5
For the most part it was nice. Out by the hot tub and fire pit smelled like sewer. All needed cooking supplies such as pots, pans and utensils were available

The property was clean and well suited for my folks, my brother and my family.

Loved our stay, great for kids and the whole family. Plenty of space and very clean.

Cabin was nice but shows wear and tear of use. Driveway was tricky dealing with three vehicles and the drop off. Cabin was listed that it slept 10 but we had two people cancel and we were glad; the cabin was full with 8 people. Front deck and back deck wer absolutely wonderful for morning coffee and evening dinner. The hotub was a welcome treat at the end of the day after hard miles of hiking. Would stay here again.
4.5
Nice comfy cabin that had just enough room for everyone!
4.5
Great cabin, close to Hocking Hills activities. It was clean and cozy with a wood burning fireplace. Nice gathering space available in the basement level with the hot tub right outside sliding doors. Although there are 2 full bathrooms, only 1 shower in the house. Would go again!
4.5
We came to hocking hills for a family get away :) this was our pre holiday kick off! We decorated Christmas cookies, went to the Christmas cave in minford and hiked a few of the trails. It was absolutely beautiful! Kids loved the game room and the adults love the hot tub :)
4.5
Plenty of room for sleeping. Nice area for family to gather around the fire, hot tub and back porch. Kitchens and bathrooms were good. No bathroom on the bottom floor. Lots of stairs and entire property is on a hill. Sewer smell was pretty gross. No walking trails around cabin - surrounded by thorn bushes.

We really enjoyed our stay and we're surprised at all the room in the cabin! Super quiet and relaxing just, just what we needed!

Enjoyed the cabin it was perfect size for our Family. Glad there was a starter kit of supplies. There was a problem with the microwave bottom light over the stove. Maintenance did come right over to replace a light bulb, but that one never came on. He also replaced a bulb by the fire place. The hot tub would not warm beyond 95 . But because of the sewer odor we did not use the hot tub or enjoy the fire pit. We did have a huge visitor a b
BIG spider down in the family room , the guys were able to kill it.😝 But all in all the family got to spend some much needed down time together. Thank you Brenda for your patience .

This cabin was beautiful inside. Exactly as pictured and had plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. I would like to recommend getting childproof gates for the stairs. Otherwise i can’t call it child-friendly. The grounds around the outside of the cabin were beautiful but again, not child-friendly. Our grandkids couldn’t play with their soccer balls because most of the ground around the cabin is sloped. And the porch is not enclosed to keep a child from falling off of it. But I should have looked closer at the picture online because I would have seen that., I would rent this cabin again if more safety features were added for kids. But we will most likely try to find something more child-safe for our next trip there. Overall this was my first VRBO experience and I will use it again.

Well built and maintained! Very clean - no bugs at all! Perfect size for 8 adults and 3 dogs! Quick response from property manager, (even on a weekend.) Maintenance man, Chance, came quickly, was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because of the continuous septic smell. But manager said they would get it checked.

The property was very nice and relaxing with 3 outside areas for enjoying nature. Unfortunately it was too hot to enjoy the outside. Good accommodations for our family with everyone having their private space. Mattresses in at least two of the rooms need to be replaced. Would be nice to have menus of local restaurants and perhaps some DVD's as internet service was spotty. Overall very pleased with accommodation.
4.5
The cabin is nice and very clean. The photos in the property summary are misleading and give the perception of much larger rooms. Also the cabin lot is sloped and the fire ring is on a sloped section that makes it uncomfortable to sit on one side.

Easy to book and communication with property manager was clear and helpful. Central location to parks, shopping, food, yet still secluded enough for rest and relaxation. Nice property, floors were fairly dirty and full of pet hair but otherwise we were pleased. Overall good experience.

The cabin is in a nice location. It was definitely cozy with 10 people and 2 dogs. We are responsible pet owners and cleaned up after our dogs, but there were many “land mines” around the cabin. It was a short stay so we chose to overlook dead remote batteries and a bent foosball rod. It was clean and the hot tub was a nice addition.

the kitchen and bathrooms and bedding were very clean but the rugs floor and stairs were dusty/dirty. I tried to vacuum, but both vacuum cleaners were clogged and fairly useless. They both need to be cleaned out.The checkout instructions did not get to me until friday which was too late and we did not have good/any connection to the email to read them - I hope that I will not get penalized for any check-out that didn't get done because of this.
