We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. The place was just as described and the host was attentive and available for any questions I had. There was plenty of shopping and dining options around, and lots of historic places to visit close by.

This property was wonderful! Penthouse Apartment has a nice patio off the kitchen and the unit is located right in the heart of Puerto Del Sol. We could walk to all the sites and shopping and restaurants were plentiful. Loved that the two bathrooms in the unit backed up to each other rather than the two rooms. Lot's going on in the vicinity. Although there is some street noise, there are metal window covers you can deploy to further mask night revelry so it never intruded on our sleep time. We would definitely stay here again!

We chose this property because of a convenient location, and also because 4 adults wanted 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 bathrooms. The property is in a very walkable location, with large department stores, small shops and cafes nearby. It is a pedestrian zone, but it is a very busy area. People walked the streets all night, and the bedrooms were vey noisy. There were A/C units in the bedroom, so open windows weren't necessary. The windows have roll-down storm shades, which kept out some noise, and definitely blocked sunlight. The bedrooms were OK, beds were comfortable, although the pillows were not. The sheets were just OK, and the towels were good, but no washcloths were provided. In fact, there were no dish towels in the kitchen. The bathrooms were adequate, although they both opened to a hallway, with no privacy from the other guests. The showers were very tight. The soap provided was barely adequate, so we were glad to have brought our own. The bathrooms had 1 small towel bar, and could have used some hooks for clothes, and a 2nd towel bar. The kitchen was very small, but adequate. There was no coffee pot, but the host brought one when we asked. The washer came in handy, but there was no dryer, so we hung clothes outside on the patio to dry in the sun. It was great having an elevator, and the security locks on main door, and apartment door were very good. The unit had a few things that needed repair but overall was comfortable and adequate.

We enjoyed our stay during Jan2-3. The place was just as described and all the reviews are accurate in that it is clean and cute and in great proximity to restaurants and stores. The grocery store across the street was so convenient and there is even a starbucks in there. It is also very noisy, there's a place nearby that starts music and a guy on a microphone around 12-2am. Then there's some construction around 8 am. Nothing that my white noise app and earplugs couldn't drown out, so it was fine. Great place to stay!

This apartment is less than 1 block from Puerta del Sol which is a very active location. We were there in early December and saw peace activists, holiday celebrations, visiting team football celebrations - all over 5 days. If you want to be in the middle of the activity, this place is for you. Construction & street cleaning can be heard once the people leave the area.

This amazing place has the best location. Right in the heart of the city and next to the metro for easy access to the entire city. We loved it. Stayed with my girlfriend and my daughter. It was great to have two bathrooms.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It is a fantastic location right in the heart of Madrid at Puerta del Sol. A grocery store right across the street and so many cafes and restaurants around the plaza we had a hard time choosing where to go each night for dinner. The Mercado de San Miguel is only a short walk away for great tapas and wine. That is always a great evening out. I can’t imagine a better place to stay.

Excellent Location and tastefully decorated
The property was steps away from the Sol Metro and Square. Beautifully decorated and clean. It would have been great if an English speaking person and not someone who does not understand any English meets you on arrival so that all queries are answered satisfactorily. If not at least someone speaking English should call in and find out whether things are in order. WE enjoyed our stay very much. There is no Microwave oven or a kettle and hopefully these will be added to the otherwise well equipped kitchen. I would recommend the property to another.

Tolles Apartement in sehr zentraler Lage
Wir, zwei Paare, waren 5 Tage in Madrid und haben die Stadt und die Unterkunft in vollen Zügen genossen. Zentraler geht nicht, alles war zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad sehr gut zu erreichen.
Die Ausstattung war sehr stilvoll, denkt aber bitte daran, dass ihr induktionsherdgeeignete Pfannen beschafft.
Danke, dass wir das Gepäck noch im Apartement stehen lassen konnten.
Das Apartement ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Muy céntrico
Piso muy céntrico a 100 metros de la Puerta del Sol, en calle peatonal (no se puede acceder en coche). El piso está muy bien situado. El equipamiento del piso es un poco "demasiado" básico (echamos en falta un microondas en encimera). Hay que dejar elementos útiles como unos trapos de cocina ó equipar mejor los cuartos de baño.

Fantastic apartment - clean and great location
The apartment is very clean, well equipped and located in the middle of everything. Its right opposite the department store Cortes Ingles, opposite the Metro Sol, walking distance of all sites Would recommend it. Only thing to be cautious about was the delays/failure in communication regarding inquiry and pick up. If the inquiry service would improve... there would be cause for complaint

Perfect apartment
We were a group of six girls spending the weekend in Madrid and the apartment was perfect. Nicely funished.. And ample enough space for 6 for 3 nights especially with 2 bathrooms. We didn't get to use the terrace much due to the weather and short time there but it was a great addition.
The location couldn't have been more central just near sol station in the middle of a busy shopping area. I don't normally choose so close to the busy/more tourist areas but when only there 2 days it was great.
We were able to leave all our luggage at the office for €10 euro which was handy and they went out their way to wait for us to drop it off.
Lastly we left something behind and this was handed in and is now been posted back to us so couldn't ask for a better service!!
Some friends stayed in apartments not too far which were ever so slightly cheaper but they were awful! So this was definitely value for money.
Would definitely recommend and if I return to madrid would stay here again!
