I travel to Barmouth once a month and have always stayed in guest houses until this visit, the ability to actually buy and cook real food was fantastic, having the whole apartment to myself was amazing and made this journey much more enjoyable than previous ones, especially sinking into a bubble bath after 10 hour's of travelling on trains! the property is well appointed with everything I needed for the weekend, the welcome note and box of chocolates from the host were a lovely touch along with the pint of milk waiting in the fridge. Very happy that I've managed to secure this property again for my visit in November 😁

Only thing that might be an issue for some people (but wasn't for me) is the lack of street lighting on the steps/walk up to the property, its not in the hosts control but for those who might be arriving later or been out for the evening it's something to be prepared for

Wonderful little treat, to kick back a relax. Just what we needed.

Opening the front door to this delightful property way exceeded our expectations. Such a treat. Home from home comfort. Highly recommend.

Arrived with a warm welcome message on the chalk board with a box of chocolates on the table. Such a cozy place with such a relaxing vibe beautiful big bath tub (heaven). Views from all points of the building are stunningly amazing

Quiet location with excellent sea and coastal views.

Excellent information received from the hosts containing all the details needed to locate and access the property. Helpful suggestions concerning eateries in the town and the location of friendly pubs and restaurants.

Brilliant little place, Dog friendly, Clean, Parking permit, Wifi, Netflix and the important essentials for a cup of Tea on arrival including chocolate 🥰. Bath was amazing. Really cozy and comfortable place to stay. The owners communication and instructions were clear and made it easy to find, access and use everything in the property. I would stay again loved it 🤩 x

Steps (I knew about them before booking) not suitable if you struggle with stairs/steps. Please watch the youtube videos....but If you take your time the view at the top and the stay is worth it 🙂 would not stop me booking again x

Morning coffee with a great view! Nice and warm place to stay, fully equipped. Amazing bath to relax. Few minutes away from car park, city centre and beach. Really close to the best restaurant in town... Bistro Bermo!

It was very well set up information was great and the bath was very relaxing after being out all day.

I was not so keen on the steps. But we did know about them.

Very homely, cosy, and comfortable cottage

This beautiful little cottage truly felt like home from home. It was so cosy, welcoming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean.The milk, tea, coffee, and sugar were much appreciated, as were the lovely chocolates! The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the bath very luxurious. Wifi and smart TV were great. The location is perfect, minutes away from the harbour, beach, shops, and amazing walks with spectacular views. Prior to arrival, the owner sent video instructions on how to find the property, which was really helpful. Great communication all round. I felt safe as a solo traveller, which was very important to me. I will definitely be back.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

what a truly lovely cottage set in the most picturesque area of Barmouth…. We had such a lovely stay. The cottage had everything and more that we needed…. Thank you for a perfect stay, we hope to come back one day xxxx ps… the chocolates where a real treat, thank you 🥰

Great weekend

The view from the kitchen window is amazing. We were very impressed how clean the cottage was and it was very well equipped . Chocolates were a lovely welcome gift also tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided. Met Steve , the host who was very friendly and welcoming. One of the best weekends we have had away with our dogs and we will definitely be returning to this little gem .

Lovely stay in the heart of Barmouth old town.

We had a lovely 2 night stay The flat is really cosy & comfortable, and equipped with just about everything you could possibly need. Lots of nice little touches, and the choccies and biscuits were much appreciated! Thankyou. Situated in the heart of the fascinating old town, it's worth exploring the steps, and the hillside walks above for the views alone! The info provided for parking and finding the location was very helpful.

We could hear people moving around in the flat upstairs, but this is mentioned in the details, and it wasn't obtrusive.

A great spot for a couple.

Excellent instructions, which made finding the property a breeze. Chocolates left out in the living room was a lovely touch, as was the milk in the fridge. All the information provided before arrival was superb.

The number of steps would be an issue for the less mobile. However the rest of the property and location could not be faulted. The free parking is a 5 minute walk from the property and the parking permit worked without any hassle.

Really lovely stay, perfect for 2 people. Great location, well equipped, and a beautiful view...

Kitchen was well equipped. Living room was good size for the two of us to relax in the evenings. Bathtub was amazing! And the little bench outside near the kitchen window was a highlight. Great spot for breakfast or lunch! Lots of lovely touches throughout the house that made the stay really lovely.

Beautifully located, cozy cottage

The cottage is beautifully located and the perfect size for a cozy weekend away. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped with a huge bath. The sitting room and kitchen have everything you need for self catering but there are lots of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk if you want to go out to eat.

Nothing - we really enjoyed the whole stay. May be worth noting that the house is not for anyone with accessibility issues due to the long and steep flight of steps on its approach but a good work out taking our bags up!

Snug little accommodation in Barmouth.

Great location in the centre of town. Warm clean and comfortable, the tumble drier was a bonus to dry out wet clothes. Bed was comfortable and the views from the kitchen window were stunning.

Need to carry cases up from the road was a shock to the system! But the location required the commitment!

Great location close to harbour and beach. Free parking permit in long stay was a nice addition. Friendly owner, made sure everything was catered for and good coms if required. Great value for money for a small family.

A great find

Lovely property. Very well equipt and a lovely touch from the hosts providing good coffee and tea bags, milk and a box of chocolates when I arrived. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the property is in an ideal spot, very central with wonderful views that make the climb up the stairs worth it. Also, great response time from the hosts if I messaged them. Will stay again.

A lovely little getaway 😊

The place itself is beautiful once you get to it. It's full of history on the outside, and then modern on the inside! Lovely facilities, the cleanliness was great and the hospitality was excellent. The views are brilliant as well! Any small issues were solved straight away, very insightful and helpful with questions asked as well. Overall I would come back and stay for sure!

I knew there was going to be a climb, but the steps are very steep. This is at no fault to the staff, as this is how the buildings were built back in the day and they give plenty of advance warning about this.
