Great time in Faro

We really appreciated the gifts of food in the fridge. The apartment is central and very close to both bus and train stations. Fernando was very willing to come and help with a little problem we had. Furthermore, the apartment is amazingly well equipped.

The apartment is very small but really cute. The spiral staircase is very steep. These are not complaints just things people should be aware of. They were not a problem to us.

Wonderful apartment in a great location. The hosts have great attention to detail.

Great location. Everything was clean and well organized. The layout was compact but was fine for our short stay. Our hosts left us a very nice offering of beverages and snack which was greatly appreciated.

The bed had a spiral staircase to descend the use the bathroom which was a little difficult for older couples like us.

Lovely place - a must to experience Faro!

The care of the hosts concerning the locale and making sure the guests find a welcoming stay is exceptional. The place is clean, well organised with basically anything you may need for a short stay, and it’s two steps from the Marina, Train Station and Bus Station. The bed is comfy and spacious, the AC make the stay cool and never hot, the tech used for the check-in is top notch and makes it easy. The communication of Esmeralda and Fernando is impeccable. Kind, resourceful, respectful, professional. And they offer some refreshments in the fridge at your arrival; small gesture like this means care for the guest experience.

Nice and cosy apartment.

Very nice and cosy apartment. :) Fully equipped - everything that you might need, was there. There was even food. So if you arrive late at night, there is something to eat and there is no need to go and look for a shop or restaurant. Easy check in. Comfortable bed. Owners answered really quickly if you had a question. Really loved that apartment.

The neighborhood wasn't really what we expected. Didn't feel so safe walking around at night and the streets left a little dirty impression. But that has nothing to do with the apartment. The apartment was 100%. Also the location itself was very good.

Like staying in my best friends' house

Esmeralda and Fernando provided all the necessary information prior to my arrival in Faro, so it was very easy to self checkin. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and all the necessary items to have a snack when I arrived late at night. The studio is at the heart of the city, near the bus station and a few minutes' walk from the train station. There were all the necessary items a house must have - including a washer/drier. They even had amenities like a beach umbrella and towels to enjoy the beach. In short, it was pretty much like staying in my friends' house who thought carefully what I might need to relax and enjoy my stay.

The staircase that led to the mezzanine where the bed is located might be considered for those who have mobility issues.

A comfortable stay within the heart of Faro.

This accommodation was well fitted out, modern, contemporary. It had everything we needed. The hosts have thought of everything. For example, I needed to hand wash a dress and they had a basin and detergent available to use in one of the cupboards. The hosts very kindly left some food and drink for us which was a fantastic welcome after a long day of travel. I absolutely loved this accommodation and would recommend to others. Self- check in, walking distance to everything, modern. Well done Fernando & Esmeralda!

I don't think the conditioner was actually conditioner in the bathroom. Minor detail. Still receives 10/10.

Superb

Fernando and Esmerelda have a lovely facility. We were originally due to stay at the apartment in April 2020 prior to the pandemic and when we were rebooking the trip 3 years later we made sure to book the same place. The apartment was lovely. A little sitting area + kitchen + washer/ dryer + bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs. We arrived quite late due to a train delay in Faro. The apartment is located a < 5 minute walk from both the bus station and train station which made arriving very easy. Because we got in late we knew all the supermarkets were closed and we were wondering what to do about dinner. We needn't have worried because the welcome pack was there to greet us as we were able to whip up something for the night. The apartment had everything you could want - The hosts have truly thought of everything you might need. Faro was a great base to explore the algarve - I only wish we were spending more time in the Algarve as I really loved the time there.

The ladder/ stairs to the bedroom is quite narrow - fine for me but a bit more of a challenge for my less mobile mum. Just a caution! Parking can be challenging in the streets around the apartment - I always found one though!

well equipped and comfortable apartment in a great location

This is a very comfortable compact apartment that didn’t feel cramped. it had a well equipped kitchen with appliances above and beyond toaster and kettle. Good integrated oven and microwave. Thoughtful complementary provisions in the fridge and basics such as olive oil vinegar salt and pepper made self catering easy. other thoughtful extras included an umbrella. beach umbrella and tote basket Great location less than 1 minute from Bus Terminal and 4 minutes from the Train Station. Very close to the old walled quarter and in the middle of the entertainment area with multiple bars and restaurants

Not really a complaint but the spiral staircase makes moving luggage upstairs a bit challenging. Having said that it also creates more circulation space downstairs which is a plus

This is probably one of the best apartments I've stayed in. It was super clean, well and comfortably furnished and extremely well equipped. It felt really spacious and had everything we needed. It was also in a great location!

To get to the bedroom there are internal stairs which are steep may be a challenge. Not recommended if you have any disabilities.

Faro motorcycle rally 229.

Was good position for the Marina and restaurants ,the welcoming pack was very nice, parking was very easy for motorcycle (Faro moto clube concentration week)all facilities in the studio were excellent

The spiral staircase is very stylish, I could see it being an issue with elderly people. Personally, no issues, I am only 68,

Superb

Behavior of the owners - Fernando and Esmeralda. They organized for us a pick-up at the airport by taxi company, who drove us to the property. Since we arrived at the midnight there was a basic food awaiting us in the fridge -ham, cheese, butter, apples, orange juice and - bottle of wine and two biers! Apart of that a pack of bread- what a nice surprice!

All was ok. This is a quiet property in a very central location - 5 min to main square, 1 min to a bus terminal and 3 min to a train station. Equipment of the property is 100% sufficient for a long stay.

fantastic little studio in the heart of Faro

we stayed at Blue Barqueta studio for four nights while we were visiting Faro. This accommodation really is superb. the studio is in a great location two two minutes from the main bus station and right in the heart of Faro. everything is on your door step and within easy walking distance. the accommodation is really present. exceptionally clean and well maintained. on arrival the host had left us a welcome pack that included bread, milk, ham, cheese, water, orange juice, coffee, tea bags, and fruit. I thought this was fantastic. the accommodation has everything you need right down to shower gels and shampoo! the hosts have catered for everyone. we would definitely recommend this place and when we return we will book again.

Excellent apartment in Faro

The accommodation was superb. Clean, well arranged and very well equipped. The hosts left a welcome basket which was very generous too! Location was very good and walking distance to everything in Faro. Highly recommended.

I liked everything, but folk might need to be aware that the space is not large (although well designed) and getting to the bedroom means going up a spiral staircase so anyone with mobility issues needs to be aware. Parking, although free in surrounding streets, etc could be challenging at times.

A lovely stay, both comfortable and convenient

We had such a comfortable stay here. The location is excellent - five minutes walk from the station, even nearer to buses, very close to bars and restaurants and yet so quiet at night! The hosts Esmeralda & Fernando were very helpful before our stay, providing information about Faro and agreeing to a late check-out. The door code system worked well so we never actually met them however! They had left us a fridge full of everything we needed for a simple meal on arrival (bread, cheese, juice, beer, wine and apples), although we chose to eat out all the time and only used the juice one thirsty afternoon. Nevertheless we appreciated the gesture. We booked the airport transfer through them for our arrival as we were landing fairly late in the day. It all worked smoothly and only cost a few euros more than the airport taxis would have done - worth it for the convenience and peace of mind. On our way home we used the local bus which was very convenient as we were so near the terminal, and we used the same bus route one day to visit the beach. We also took the train to Tavira one day but otherwise we were able to easily walk to all the sights of Faro within a maximum ten minutes or so from the studio!

It would be very hard to find anything to criticise here - it's great value for money and a perfect base for a stay in Faro!

Fantastic Hosts - cool and comfortable apartment!

Immaculate and stylish apartment set on a little lane seconds from the bus station and old town restaurants and shops etc. Nice and bright living space/kitchen area, large and comfortable bedroom on the mezzanine via the spiral staircase. The service was next level! Not only were all instructions clear and concise, we were able to check in early and were left a welcome package of bread, wine, beer, water, cheese, eggs and ham. Could not have been a better service.

I travel a lot and this was the cleanest most well appointed place I have stayed in anywhere. It was like everything was brand new just for us. The hosts were amazing and provided everything we needed and more. location is great, very close to all the sights in Faro. Absolutely great!
