Had a great time in Chatel, property is very cosy and perfect for a weeks skiing.
Very well equipped and great location for both Chatel town as well as bus connections to Linga and pre la joux.

Very cozy chalet, with attention to every detail, equipped with everything even Netflix! Perfect location near the center and with a beautiful view over the valley. The owner very helpful, we had a great time.

Excellent location and chalet. Recommend downloading bus app and bus number 3 is the one that runs past house. Once familiar with the system no car required as all very frequent. A short walk into town and you have everything you need, including a lift although we took bus in the other direction as preferred to start in Linga.
Every evening the chalet was warm and cosy to return to. Would definitely stay again.

Appartement cosy mais perfectible
Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cet appartement situé dans un chalet abritant 2 appartements et 2 studios, nous avons apprécié bien évidemment l’emplacement et le cadre de l’habitation ainsi que le logement qui se veut cosy et chaleureux. Néanmoins, comme nous l’avons précisé au Gerant par téléphone, plusieurs choses seraient à revoir afin de rendre le séjour parfait: vérification de la propreté des lieux et de la vaisselle, de l’état du matériel (lave-vaisselle en fin de vie, matériel de cuisine inadapté, éclairage, aspirateur qui n’aspire pas, coussins et tapis vieillissants…), entretien des extérieurs (1m de hauteur d’herbe à notre arrivée, le voisin du dessous a régularisé heureusement une bonne partie du problème ce qui a facilité le parking des véhicules)…., DVD présents mais en très mauvais état pour la plupart, trop de bibelots à notre goût (mais nous ne pouvons pas reprocher cela au propriétaire…) ce qui a tendance à attirer la poussière et à occuper beaucoup d’espace…Enfin, une serviette et une paire de drap par personne pour 3 semaines c est un peu léger d’autant plus en l’absence de machine à laver….C est dommage car ce logement a beaucoup de potentiel et pourrait être idéal avec un peu plus de suivi et de rigueur de la part du propriétaire. Pour notre part, nous retournerons probablement à Chatel mais nous ne renouvellerons pas l’expérience avec ce propriétaire, le prix exige n’étant absolument pas en adéquation avec la prestation fournie.

Ein sehr gemütliches Chalet!
Das Chatel war sehr gemütlich und besonders liebevoll dekoriert! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch an den Schlafzimmern und dem Bad war nichts zu bemängeln. Die Parkmöglichkeiten waren direkt am Haus und auch für uns (mit kleinem Anhänger und 2 Motorrädern) unproblematisch. Auf dem schmalen Balkon war von vormittags bis abends Sonne und man konnte dort gut sitzen, essen und die Aussicht genießen. Die Sauna (bis 65°C) war eine schöne gemütliche Abwechslung an einem der wenigen bewölkten Tagen. Die Absprachen mit dem Vermieter waren absolut unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Und danke für die spontane Verlängerung um einen Tag!

L'appartement est magnifiquement décoré, tout en bois, avec un poêle dans le coin salon. Très proche du village avec l'arrêt des navettes en face de l'appartement. Le propriétaire est très disponible et nous a même prêté des luges pour les enfants!

The chalet is closely situated to the town and has a bus stop right outside to take you to the slopes or into town. The chalet has everything required for a comfortable stay. Serge was on hand with any questions or query we had. Overall a Lovley chalet and great stay had by all.

Un chalet douillet dans un coin de paradis
Très beau petit chalet situé à proximité des commerces (on peut s'y rendre à pied) et bien équipé.
La vue est magnifique depuis le balcon. Le sauna est un vrai bonus après une longue marche.
Beaucoup de randonnées et activités à faire aux alentours (baptême de parapente au top !)
Le prioritaire reste disponible malgré la distance qui nous sépare.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !
Ps : un petit égouttoir près de l'évier serait un plus 😉

Wir haben zu zweit 2 wunderschöne Wochen im Juli im Chalet Sandettie verbracht.
Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Schwob verlief unbürokratisch, sehr freundlich und auf Fragen wurde uns direkt geantwortet.
Wir haben wunderbare Wanderungen in den Bergen unternommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A redécouvrir sans hésitation
Nous recherchions un chalet cosy et bien implanté pour découvrir les activités estivales et la randonnée en Haute-Savoie. Le chalet et ses installations sont vraiment charmantes. Le proprio est super sympa et c'est à deux pas du centre de Châtel.

LUXE ET CRASSE Nous avons récuré ! Literie très dure
Magnifique chalet, décoration de goût. Un tel luxe aurai mérité de la propreté. Literie vraiment très dure dans toutes les chambres. Le propriétaire nous a expliqué que c était au locataires de faire le ménage et que le personnel dans la région était trop cher. Nous avons fait plus 12 heures de ménage de fond pour dépoussiérer et dégraisser ce beau chalet. Malgré le sauna en panne et le fait que nous lui laissions un chalet propre comme nous aurions aimer le trouver. Monsieur nous a facturer 100 euros de housses de couette (a savoir pas de couette dans toutes les chambres dont couverture à bourrer dans housse) et nous a pris 330 euros (dont 230 prélevé sur la caution) pour les deux personnes supplémentaires .
Je laisse juge les futurs locataires

Cosy et fonctionnel
Chalet très cosy (les cœurs y abondent), bien équipé et desservi par une navette fréquente qui permet de se rendre au pied des différentes pistes ou au centre du village. Un seul regret : le sauna était en panne et il n'a pu être réparé avant la fin de notre séjour.

Apartment perfectly placed with the ski bus to the Linga lifts or town/Super Chatel lifts being right at the door.
Loved the sauna and the log burner stove to relax in the evening
Really well equipped kitchen, you could easily cater all meals if you wanted to.
Loads of hanging space which is really important if you've got damp ski gear, and a secure locker for skis to keep them out of the apartment
We thought that 4 adults is the comfortable occupancy rate; although it could sleep more, there isn't really sofa space for more than 4 adults to lounge

Plenty of storage and the chalet was nice and warm. This was an ideal place to spend Christmas. Very easy access to the slopes or to Châtel centre by free shuttle bus, the bus stop is right outside of the chalet door. Greeted by the owner who made sure we had everything we needed and also visited at the end of the stay. One VERY small suggestion would be to have bedding included in the accommodation price and come as standard instead of by additional request but this is far outweighed by how good everything else is. A great time had by all.

We had a wonderful family holiday in Serge's beautiful chalet. It is well located, under 10 minutes walk into town and the local swimming pool. The chalet is full of charm and has everything you need. We had a lovely summer holiday, but would happily come back for a skiing holiday. Serge was very helpful.

Beautiful Chalet in great location
We enjoyed Christmas week in this cute, well furnished chalet. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough room (the mezzanine with 2 double beds was great for my son to have his cousin over for a sleepover!). We have stayed in Chatel many times and our favourite area is Bechigne, it's on the bus route to the big Intermarche supermarket and the slopes, but close enough to walk to town.
The chalet is very well equipped (slippers in hall cupboard, board games, dvds) and beautifully decorated if you love French Knick Knacks (which I do!). The kitchen was great, 2 fridges and lots of kitchen equipment such as toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fondue set, plus there were lots of bits left by previous people such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil. Everything you need as basics for your first few days. We have added to these! There were also basic kitchen needs such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels etc. I brought some things with me so it would have been useful to know this in advance! The bathroom/toilet had soap and toilet roll, also useful!
We rented towels and sheets from Loca Linge, who deliver before you arrive. La Lavandiere in Chatel also offers this service. We enjoyed meals at La Pierriere and Le Refuge (excellent value) and La Poya (special treat, tiny, adult only(?), need to book in advance of stay!). There is a new restaurant/bar at Plain Dranse called Folies des Neiges (sharp right off Pierre Longue chair) fab food, good value, will be great apres ski bar later in season.
I could write more but this is turning into an essay, we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be returning to this gorgeous place!

Fantastic House
Verry well equiped house, the bus stops in front of the house and brings you within 5 minutes to the ski area.
We stayed here with 6 persons which was no problem.
Only sleeping in the mezzine is verry warm.
The owner is helpfull and this is a place to come back.
