Watch the sun rise from the deck, and set over the bay from the front yard. Casita Azul is a small rustic wooden studio cottage attached off the main house Casa Azul. The house is on a hilltop, on a small peninsula in the quiet neighborhood of La Romana. This conveniently located home is exactly 1.5 miles from the ferry dock; 1 mile from the airport.

Casita Azul has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Culebra!
We provide:
*WiFi
*Beach Towels
*Beach Chairs
*Cooler/Neverita
*Charcoal BBQ grill
*Snorkel Gear (Shared with all guest in the main house. Availability is not guaranteed, but there is usually enough for everyone!)
*32 inch Smart TV for streaming movies etc.. (there is no cable)
*Washer and Dryer (available for guest staying 7+ days)

The studios kitchenette does not have a stove, but it does have a microwave, toaster oven, and an electric counter-top double burner. The kitchenette is complete with dishes, utensils, cups/glasses, pots and pan.

The property had gorgeous views and was very nice inside. It’s not too far from town and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Amber was amazing, she was very responsive and even helped us after we got a flat tire on the island and gave us a ride back. Overall, a wonderful place.

We stayed four nights here. It had everything we needed for a great getaway, including lovely outdoor spaces, front and back. We especially appreciated all the beach gear available for use. You'll want a golf cart or other vehicle for this location, but you'll generally want one on Culebra anyway. And D's Garden is only a couple minute's walk away for groceries, smoothies, wraps, etc. We definitely recommend this cottage!

It was a great spot with a nice view! The island is beautiful, so many nice beaches. Amber's place was nice, very clean and the beach supplies were great (towels, umbrella, coolers, snorkeling gear). We were 3 adults staying there and it was a bit tight, but not a problem. The pull out couch is a twin bed. All in all would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in the studio. The owner let us drop our bags before check in time. We are located not too far from the ferry (30 min walk) and from the beach. Flamenco beach is verry nice and not too far (45 min walk or 5 min taxi).

The house was easy to find. The host responds quickly and provided us with many extras we didn’t expect. I even tried staying an extra day but unfortunate for me, someone had already booked😣 The place was also super clean and has its own parking area with a hammock and a front and back deck. Look no further, this place is a true gem😉

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and we loved everything about it! The location is perfect- less than a 5 minute drive to everything in town, but far enough to be away from the noise. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The place has everything you need to enjoy Culebra! Beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear are all provided. The room itself is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics. Communication with the host was very easy. If we return to Culebra, we will be staying here again!

We had such a great time in Culebra and this house was perfect for us. It’s not too far from the shops and restaurants and you get a fantastic view of the sunrise every morning. Would definitely book this again my next trip back to this awesome island

Amber is a great host, this place has everything you need. Views of the harbor out the front *and* back doors. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood, a little far from town so you do need transportation. The snorkel gear, cooler, umbrella and chairs that were there to borrow was really nice. Wifi wasn't sufficient to watch movies on the Roku TV that was there, but that's not surprising. Best thing to do is get an unlimited cell plan and use your hotspot if that's important to you.

We really enjoyed staying in the small guest house on the side of casa azul. It's perfect for a single traveler or couple. Its clean, conveniently located, great view of the harbor, and everything you need to have a comfortable stay on Culebra. Amber is super communicative and helpful. This casa is very much recommended!!

We loved this little place with all its character! Had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. Water views from both sides enabled us to watch sunrise and sunset. Amber was quick to respond to any emails or questions we had and the caretaker was full of useful information regarding Culebra. Would definitely come back here!

I loved the little place. It had mostly everything we needed for our stay: extra towels for the beach, cooler, coffee maker and a fairly comfortable bed. There were snorkels but since its a first come first serve the neighbors had already taken them all. The owner although in California and 4 hours difference, was very approachable, responsive and understanding. We were here January 2017 and it seemed like there was an overall issue with wasps throughout the island and our place was no exception. We could not open the back door without a couple of them trying to get in which I made the owner aware of it and help is on its way. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't because the apartment doesn't have enough privacy. The blinds are see through and we had to put the extra blankets around to cover them up. Also the bathroom has a mildew smell that I couldnt point out why it smelled. We came to the conclusion that it could be the sewer trap. Either way, it was comfortable enough we didn't mind and would stay here again.
