My partner and I loved the pool table and the quietness of it all. Would love to bring the kids next time.

Great place to stay! Thanks

Cabin was great! It exceeded all expectations. It’s situated in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. The fireplace is very nice and the cabin is stocked with lots of firewood. It makes for a very cozy experience. The location is great as it’s close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain. The cabin is located on the same mountain where they have the largest snow tubing.

It was a wonderful getaway. Peaceful and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sooo quiet, good amenities, and the kids loved the pool table. TV seems to be just cable, not a smart tv, so just be aware if you have people in your party that care about such things. :). We just tossed the kids outside. ;)

Great place with a central location to all the local attraction. (Grandfather Mtn/Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk) Comes with everything you may need for a short or extended stay. Our home is in a beach community and we thought the house was a little more secluded than it was, but very quiet neighborhood, great for any type of get away.

Great location, very comfortable cabin. Very quiet. Never did quite figure out the TV, but we didn't go to watch TV.. Would absolutely recommend.

We liked the cozy cabin and clean, safe space. It was up atop a windy mountain so use caution when driving there. The cabin could use updates but it looks like they updated the bathrooms.

Not bad

Perfect vacation the cabin close to everything, super comfortable for 4 people, hot water, clean and the deer are your neighbors.

This cabin was wonderful! It is within 5 min of Sugar Mountain, 25-30 min from Beech, 25-30 min from Boone, 15 min from Grandfather Mountain, 25-30 min from Blowing Rock, and 20 min from Jonas Ridge snow tubing! We ate at Pedalin Pig, Stonewall, Banner Elk Cafe, and Sorrentos - all were excellent and have kids menus. We really enjoyed the proximity to all these places. We LOVED the coziness of Bear Den! We saw deer everyday from the porch, our family loved the pool table, and it is very spacious! We can’t wait to go back!!!

The convenience location was excellent. The cabin was true to the listing. They need a lock code on the door instead of picking up the key and dropping the key off.

We enjoyed our stay, cute and cozy cabin. The kids really enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the front porch. The only thing I didn’t love was the fact that we had to drive to the main office to get the keys to the property, I feel like upgrading to digital/keypad locks would have made it so much easier for us and it could have save us the extra drive. Other than that the place was clean and had enough towels and blankets for our short stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Property is very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Bear Den! The wood burning fireplace, cozy cabin feel, and surrounding area/neighborhood was perfect for 4 adults and an infant. Quiet area, lots of deer sightings, but still convenient to Boone and other amenities! We would definitely stay here again!

Love the town but property was not appealing

Went up to Boone for my brother's bachelor party and everything about this property was perfect for the amount of guys we had with us (5). It is in a very central location to activities such as hiking, kayaking, etc. The restaurants in the area are all great. The cabin itself was clean and spacious enough for 5 guys to hang out and sleep comfortably. There is nothing bad I can say about this property.

The house we stayed at was wonderful. Very clean. And everything we hoped for for a little get away.

Our property manager, Chris, was the best. As was the cabin. We're definitely going back. And we highly recommend this place.

We had a great time at the bear den cabin. The pool table was fun for the entire family and the cabin was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to see. The cabin was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the WIFi worked perfectly. We would definitely return!

The cabin was beautiful and the surroundings were so relaxing. The drive to the cabin is a bit daunting if you aren't used to those types of roads (just a heads up for those who aren't comfortable with straight-up windy roads). My only issue is that the pictures imply one of the smaller ponds is in the backyard of the cabin. That is actually not accurate. The smaller pond is between the three cabins that are behind this one. It wasn't a big deal - expect a significant part of our trip was for fishing purposes. We found the two larger ponds and enjoyed them but I felt compelled to comment on the picture that says the pond is in the backyard. Thank you for a nice stay.

Everything was really easy to book. The property was dusty loaded in cobwebs, light fixtures have definitely not been cleaned in some time. Dirt behind furniture. WiFi was an important thing for us to have access to due to traveling so far away from other family that was ill, the property offered that. However none of us could get the WiFi to work for us.

We had a great time playing pool, relaxing and hanging out. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures! What a wonderful vacation in a beautiful home!

Great location close to grandfather mtn.

We had a great time! The pool table was a big hit. My son requested a cabin with a pool table and this choice did not disappoint. The pictures on the listing need to be updated. There have been some changes made (for the better) to the cabin that are not reflected in the current pictures. We hope to return for another visit soon.

The place was beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice! Very peaceful. Close to hiking. Porch was perfect for relaxing after a long hike. Two things: 1. The water was barely warm for showers and the Wifi was spotty making it nearly impossible to check our maps online. Overall, great place to stay!

The process of booking property was easy. The cottage was nice., the water in property was like warm. Thank goodness it is still warm. Only con I had was could not use my cell or the house phone to make local calls to a restaurant to order food. Also did not like the fact we had to get rid of the trash ourselves and take to dumpster.

Love the house. Snuggled up in a cove on top of the mountain. Great scenery, deck, sitting, pool table, local attractions. Relaxing vacation.
