We had a great holiday; warm welcome, house equipped with all neccessary items and clean, great pool, nice surroundings and yet close to Le Bugue with supermarkets and lovely market on thuesday and saterday. Sabine and Pascal are very nice and helpfull. Cheers! Highky recommended.

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming on arrival- thank you for the wine! The property is beautiful and unique- all fixtures and fittings modern and efficient.
The weather was mixed but we managed a few lengths in the pool and we found the house to be an excellent centre for exploring the Dordogne and Vezere valleys.

We were very nice and kindly welcomed by Pascal and Sabine with a bottle of chilled white wine. Loved that! Before we arrived Sabine allready answered some questions we had, she responded very quikly every time. You can drive to Le Bugue within 10 minutes and get everything you need there at the Supermarche. The house is lovely, decoratie in style. Everything you need is there. We only slept inside because during the day we spend our time at the great pool and poolhouse. What a great place and then the gardens around it. All you hear are birds and all you see is trees. We even saw a little deer walk by a few times. Privacy all around. If necessary Pascal will clean or fill up the pool but you almost never see him or Sabine. We went home after two wonderful weeks of rest and sunshine and were completely rested en fresh. Thank you Pascal and Sabine! We had a great time!

We really enjoyed just relaxing and taking it easy! Swimming in the beautiful pool in peaceful surroundings was perfect. Sabine and Pascale were very helpful and caring. It was so restful and beautiful at the gite, we loved it!

Lovely property! We felt instantly relaxed from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. If you want peace and tranquility you would be hard pushed to do better. Our hosts were very welcoming, very easy to talk to as was their neighbours. we would have no problem with returning apart from the stairs which were a little awkward for two over-60's! (We did manage better as the week progressed) Thank You.

Sabine and Pascal were lovely hosts, they had excellent communication and even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift on arrival. The gîte was far better than our expectations, had a warm and comfortable feel while still being very chic and exactly what you want from a French gîte. The kitchen was very well equipped and we did a lot of cooking because of this. It also had absoltuely beautiful surroundings, with a lovely private pool area with an undercover seating area which we enjoyed played cards in. We left incredibly relaxed and rejuvenation which is exactly what we went for. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very charming
Lovey restored old farmhouse, furnished with care and attention. Beautiful site, with both nice shady seating as well as sunny swimming pool with comfortable lounge area. Relaxed and welcoming hosts. We had a marvelous time with our three kids.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sabine et Pascal.
Le logement à beaucoup de charme, on s'y sent très bien. Le lieux est très calme et en même temps pas loin du village ou on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin.
La région est magnifique, impossible de s'y ennuyer!
Pour couronner le tout les propriétaires sont adorables! Nous les remercions!

La location est au top : maison magnifique, très bien équipée, très propre, très bien située et alors l’espace piscine... un vrai bonheur. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins. Nous recommandons vivement.

Belle semaine d'avril passée dans ce gîte dans lequel Sabine et Pascal nous ont très bien accueillis.
Maison ancienne très bien décorée dans un endroit calme, et bien située proche du Bugue pour faire des excursions vers la vallée de la Dordogne ou de la Vézère.
Parfait pour un couple avec trois enfants.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'espace jardin et sa piscine (chauffée).

Séjour de l'ascension au top dans le gîte de Sabine et Pascal plein de charme et de calme. Gite décoré avec soins, propre et ou rien ne manque.
Des propriétaires aux petits soins mais sans être envahissants.
Nous reviendrons certainement mais cette fois avec le beau temps!!

We loved our stay, in an house that has all the facilities that you would need, with a private secluded pool, separated from the house by the driveway . An excellent place to explore the Perigord. Since we are runners, also great place to do some running.

Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien, mooi zwembad erbij. De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en staan voor je klaar indien nodig. Prachtige omgeving met mooie dorpjes.

Perfect Rural Setting
My partner and I arrived at Pascal and Sabines rural retreat for a one week stay after travelling the Dordogne region. A private pool with stunning surroundings . The house itself is quirky, clean and has everything you need. Just a short scenic drive to the centre of Le Bugue and you can access all local ammenities.
Sabine & Pascal were incredibly friendly and informative. They are there when you need them and non intrusive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect rural setting !

De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en je ziet ze bijna niet.

Niet geschikt als je slecht ter been bent..er zit een kleine trap in en opstapjes hier en daar..dat is juist de charme van het huis.

Superbe location et accueil
Je recommande vivement cette location car il n y a rien à redire elle est totalement conforme aux photos et à la description faite. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette location, tout était parfait et décoré avec goût dans le style de la région. Ce que nous retiendrons également c est une très belle rencontre avec les propriétaires qui sont des personnes discrètes, très accueillantes et d une extrême gentillesse. Merci donc Pour cette très belle semaine.

MAGIQUE...un plaisir de vie
vous serez dans un endroit ou le calme, la beauté du site et le pool house vous feront oublier les tracas du quotidien...quel plaisir de se trouver sous le patio ou il fait bon siester et boire un petit apéro ou pascal pourra vous conseiller sur les vins à déguster.
Sabine vous accueillera avec sa gentillesse et vous serez comblé par cette maison périgourdine. N'hésitez pas vous vivrez les vacances idéales comme nous les avons vécu. A très bientôt !

A perfect location.
I lived in this house for four weeks. Although the house is very unusual & somewhat quirky, it is very comfortable & has everything needed for a relaxing holiday; all "mod cons" & wonderfully tranquil surroundings. The setting for the pool with its terrace overlooking the countryside, is quite magical. Although the very welcoming owners Sabine & Pascal live close by, I was unaware of them except when I sought them out for help or advice. This house is perfect for experiencing the beautiful Perigord region of France, and for anyone visiting from outside Europe, Sabine speaks perfect English !

Traumhafte Ferien
Im Juni haben wir zwei herrliche Urlaubswochen in diesem tollen Haus von Sabine und Pascal verbracht. Es liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Siedlung, bestehend aus 4 Häusern, etwas außerhalb des kleinen Städtchens Le Bugue, umgeben von herrlichen Wäldern. Man kann hier wunderbar entspannen und hat gleichzeitig einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Périgord zu erkunden.
Das Haus hat einen separaten Eingang mit einem kleinen Vorgarten, wo man wunderbar frühstücken kann. Im Haus ist alles sehr liebevoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich das Bad, die Küche, Toilette und ein großes Wohnzimmer, welches sehr gemütlich mit Sofaecke, Fernseher und Esstisch eingerichtet ist. Die Küche ist mit Geschirrspüler, Gasherd, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine auch voll ausgestattet. Und im Bad gibt es auch eine Waschmaschine. Im Obergeschoss, erreichbar über eine etwas abenteuerliche Treppe, befinden sich 2 großzügige Schlafzimmer.
Absolut genial ist der Poolbereich, eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten mit herrlichem Ausblick.
Man hat absolut seine Privatsphäre, aber bei Fragen stehen Sabine und Pascal jederzeit zur Verfügung.
Wir sind immer noch fasziniert von dieser herrlichen Region des Périgord mit seinen Schlössern, Burgen, prähistorischen Grotten und traumhaften Gartenanlagen.
Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Sabine und Pascal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in Ihrem Haus.

CONQUIS PAR CE HAVRE DE PAIX
Correspondant complètement à nos attentes,suite aux différents avis que nous avions lus,(voir avis du 5 Juillet 2014 :juste,complet et vrai) nous étions comblés .Sabine et Pascal, des hôtes charmants et discrets a la fois,nous ont improvisé une promenade au château et parc de "Campagne" en nous faisant profiter de leur savoir sur la région et dans une ambiance bon enfant nous avons pris un apéro bien sympathique ,comme si nous étions de vieux amis. Encore merci de nous avoir permis de passer des vacances aussi reposantes, relaxantes et ressourçantes.

Sabine and Pascal give you a warm welcome and make sure, everything is just fine to please you. Why then only four instead of five stars?
Our stay was a real bad wheather stay: only rain and cold, so we couldn't really unse the pool or the amazing pool house.
In fine wheather this gites will definitely be a five star recommendation!!
