About this house rental

No matter what the season, Old Forge, New York has something for everyone! This home is located on Main Street. Relax on the front porch or cookout in the backyard.

Rent is $550 per weekend and $1500 per week.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pans, etc. The dining room has a large table that can seat 10 comfortably. The living room is warm and inviting. If it is a rainy day, not to worry there are plenty of games and there is wifi and satellite tv. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has two double beds, bedroom 2 has one double bed and bedroom 3 has one double bed and a set of bunk beds. There are two bathrooms. Upstairs bathroom has a large old fashion tub with shower. The other bathroom is in the basement which is new and features a shower. The basement also has two beds that may be used for overflow guests.

Old Forge has been the Adirondack Mountains destination of choice for generations of visitors looking for everything from excitement, peace and quiet and especially romance. This home is close to everything. Just under a mile to the beach and Water Park. The grocery store is just across the street and if you want to eat out, Keyes, The Old Mill, pizza and chinese food is just a short walk away. Also, there is an ice cream stand and mini golf next door. Kayakers can enter the river just a short distance behind the house. Old Forge is a snowmobilers paradise. Hit the trails right from the house. Skiing is close by at McCauley

Our hosts were amazing from our first contact; they quickly answered our questions, as well as reached out prior to our visit to see if we needed anything. They were so kind. The home was beautiful and clean and comfortable and in an ideal location. I cooked meals for my kids and grands, and we enjoyed every minute we spent together. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable ADK experience!

We had a great time in Old Forge. This property was so conveniently located to everything you'd need... grocery store, gas station, ice cream shop, candy store, restaurants, etc. And only a little over a mile to Water Safari. The place itself was the perfect size. Great for plenty of kids. And a nice little backyard for playing outdoor games. It was clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, linens, etc.

We had a great time staying in Jim's Adirondack Home. It was clean and ready for move in when we arrived. The owner was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Everything worked out just as we'd expected. The location is very convenient if you want to explore the town. And with groceries across the street and mini-golf and ice cream right next door, you don't have to go far if you don't want to. Countless hiking trails, and even a dog park, are all within a few minutes drive. The location right on the main street means there can be a lot of traffic driving by on some days, but it was never enough to be a problem for us. We will definitely be looking to stay here whenever we return to Old Forge.

We had a great two night stay at Carolyn’s place in Old Forge. The location is right in town and within walking distance to all that Old Forge has to offer. The house is impeccably clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend!

The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to all the town shops and restaurants. There is an ice cream stand & Putt Putt right next door & a grocery store across the street! But don’t let all that convenience & being on the main strip fool you, the yard is private & beautiful & often gets visitors from the local deer. I brought my parents & nephew for their 1st time & could not have been more grateful for this perfect house. Enough rooms for multiple families, two showers & even a washer & dryer if you need it! We will definitely be back again :)

Very clean and every utensil and amenities needed were there and available. The location on Main Street across from the grocery store was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room and spent most of our free time on front porch! Enjoyed very much!

It was excellent. We loved the town location and the excellent porch for relaxing and people- watching. It is very quiet after 930-10 pm which was fine with us. And we were there a very busy week with great weather We had a wonderful time. Thanks Carolyn!!

The house was just as advertised, and was perfectly located for us to walk around Old Forge. Having the grocery store just across the street was extremely convenient. The only issue we had (not the property's fault) was cars blocking the driveway when visiting the ice cream stand next door.

Everything was great! Lots of room, everything you could possible need plus so much more! Even if a fire pit with some lawn chairs, so easy for check in and out. Close to everything in town just shorts walks to stores and restaurants! The whole family had a great time would definitely rent this house again!

We just loved our stay! The kids had a ball, and loved that we had ice cream and mini golf next door. It's in perfect walking distance to everything. There was more than enough space for my family of four, plus my mother, and our dogs. The home is charming, and we wished we were staying longer. Thank you for the perfect experience!

Once again our stay at this lovely home was truly enjoyed. The home is clean and fully equipped with just about everything you can ask for. Pretty much bring your food, clothes and an attitude to sit back and enjoy Old Forge. We are planning on making this trip again next year.

My Uncles, cousins, brother and sons get together for one weekend a year to connect with each other. This year we stayed at Jim's Adirondack home in Old Forge. I have nothing but great things to say about this home. It was exceptionally clean and big enough for the 12 of us. The area was great for bike riding, canoeing, fishing or just walking around town. We booked the home again for next years get together.
