The owners and the approach to running and setting up this charming place. Marieke and James were delightful hosts, provided useful tips and lively conversation. Breakfasts were delicious and healthy. Probably our best ever B&B experience ever.

Homey, comfortable and warm reception.

Breakfast was great! Homemade and generous-in fact there was no way we were able to finish it all. Delicious and different. Not just your usual eggs and toast.

Not the fault of owner, but dogs at nearby dog boarding start barking bright and early.

We would definitely book another stay!

The location was lovely and quiet. The breakfasts were exceptionally delicious and varied. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We would not change a thing. Marieke was an excellent host and was very helpful with information and suggestions.

B and B hosts were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area.

Breakfast was always delicious and included fresh fruit. A different breakfast each day, cooked perfectly with a nice presentation. We were asked about preferences.

Superb

Initial communication is quick and easy with great directions to the property. Our host was very welcoming and kind, the room was spacious and clean, there was plenty of parking, a beautiful sitting room (shared space) - and the breakfast was incredible! We were really happy with everything and would definitely recommend!

What can I say, only that it was fantastic! Our hosts were so hospitable and they made us feel completely at home. The rooms were lovely and very clean. The breakfasts were wonderful. I enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Our rooms were very quiet and private. It was hard to believe that we were in the city as it felt like we were in the country. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely be back there again.

Rural Gem in the City

Marieke and James are wonderful hosts and kind, interesting people. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to book again on our next visit to Kelowna. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is a refreshing, rural escape from rapidly growing Kelowna. A 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the water and restaurants. The price is right too. Marieke serves up a delicious breakfast, each day something different and locally sourced. We look forward to meeting again!

Fell at home!

Marieke and James were great, when we arrived James gave me some tips to go around, and every morning Marieke made us such a delicious breakfast! The place is silent, bed is comfortable, shower is good and even with the heat wave that was happening the place was nice and cooler. It is a short drive to downtown and within walking distance to Okanagan Lake.
