This home has been recently remodeled and showcases new updates in all bathrooms, newly tiled lower living area and new carpet thru out the upstairs living, and all bedrooms. Detailed planning went into the remodel to make this home an attractive and updated vacation destination.
When entering the house your breath will be taken away by the picturesque Pacific Ocean and swaying palm trees. The house is designed with upstairs master bedroom and bath suite, half bath, living area and kitchen with eat-in dining room. Master bath is spacious and features a jetted tub, oversized shower, dual sink cabinetry. Upstairs living, kitchen and master bedroom have patio doors that open to the spectacular ocean views. Downstairs features two winged concept. It has a central living area, sliding patio door to hot tub and lanai, along with the breathtaking views. The lower level is designed with hallways on either side of living area, with two bedrooms each. One side has king and twin bedrooms, along with laundry room. Second wing accommodates queen, and twin bedrooms. Both king and queen bedrooms have sliders providing the views as well. Twin beds can be made into king bed if needed.
Enjoy eating at home in your dining room or lanai both overlooking the ocean. Grill outside on your Weber gas grill or cook in your kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Teak dining room table seats ten or choose to sit at the granite bar with seating for five. Covered lanai upstairs seats eight comfortably, allowing you to dine either inside or out with gorgeous views.
It is a short walk to shopping, groceries, restaurants, the famous Princeville Hotel one, and playground. House comes fully furnished with linens, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. Wireless high speed internet access included. 55” SMART HDTV in lower level offers Netflix, Amazon prime video, HULU, TUBI, Apple TV, and Google TV. We named our home Albatross ocean bluff because the albatross use the back lawn for take-off and landing. You can simply sit and watch the birds soar effortlessly along the bluff for hours while listening to the ocean waves. The birds migrate to our Princeville neighborhood in the fall, and the hatchlings fledge in July. Princeville is the only location in the world where the albatross coexist with people. They provide entertainment and are quite an attraction for visitors.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at this house. It is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a grocery store, liquor store and gas station nearby. The house was great for the 3 families. Keep the bedroom doors open so the A/C can cook them off. Plenty of ceiling fans to keep the air moving. The beach is nice but the grandparents staying with us we’re not able to make the hike to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house!

The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. It sits right on the coast with a trail to a hidden beach where you can snorkel.
The house was huge and easily fit 7 of us. There were a ton of beach chairs and it’s about 10-15 minutes from the Hanalei Bay where we do most of our swimming. The owner is very easy to communicate with and responsive.
Some things need to be updated like towels and kitchen appliances.

Awesome views of ocean! Secret beach trail in backyard…. The kids loved it. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors! There was a baby albatross under the balcony and a neighbor gave the baby a book of albatross! We loved eating on the balcony with the ocean view…. And watched the sunrise there every morning. We listened to ocean waves as we fell asleep at night.

The 5 bedrooms worked perfect for our group of 10 people. The house is beautiful with a trail down to a beach right off the back yard. Note that the trail is not easy but doable for most people.

The house is perfect. We were greeted by an albatross upon arrival and it was pretty cool. The ocean views are better than the pictures would indicate. The kitchen was well stocked. Awesome little trail to the beach. The owner even called me to make sure everything was cool. Nice guy. I would definitely stay there again.

The gorgeous tropical view was the highlight of this spacious home with amazing sunrises and sunsets! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lanai almost everyday. They have supplied just about anything you’ll need and while the northern location is farther from some of the things we enjoy doing, the beauty was well worth it! There are a few minor repairs needed but overall it was a great place to stay, and Rod is available and easy to communicate with.

It is a beautiful home. There was plenty of room.We enjoyed our stay there. A couple of questions came up and our host responded very quickly.
One thing we learned was that you needed to keep the bedroom doors downstairs open for the air conditioning to work the best.

This place was amazing! We had a great time and the neighborhood was lovely. The only drawback was the air conditioning doesn’t cool the whole house, it is a mini split not central air conditioning, but it certainly does help in the main living areas! There were so many extras for the beach, it helped make our trip that much more enjoyable. The kitchen was also well stocked. We had 3 generations on this trip and this house had ample space for us to space out.

The property has 5 bedrooms and worked out perfectly for a family of 10. The parent/grandparents and two families of four. Each family had their own wing. And the parents/grandparents their own master bedroom. The views from the balcony were very nice and we could watch a beautiful ocean sunrise in the morning when the sky was clear. The kitchen/dining room sits 10 and worked out well for dinners at home. We did not need to use the air conditioner due to the cool ocean winds at night. A few things needed minor repairs. We notified the owner who we understand was going to follow up in those items. We weren’t disappointed and would stay there again.

Beautiful home. Loved the master suite-very comfortable bed, spacious and private. House was laid out well for a large family of adults/couples. Great location and neighborhood. Loved hearing all the birds and the ocean. North shore beaches are a little difficult to get to but beautiful. Need a car a little more than I hoped for due to Princeville location, but not the fault of the house or owner. Only criticism of the house is that the smaller applicants such as blender need to be replaced/updated. Otherwise nice linens/ample towels etc. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and the use of your beautiful home!

The house was amazing and comfortably fit our multi family group perfectly. Oh and the view from the lanai was incredible. We enjoyed having a full kitchen for family dinners, the multiple living spaces for kids and grown ups, laundry, plenty of bathrooms, everyone had a bed and they had every beach accessory we needed! We enjoyed having a yard for the kids to get their wiggles out and the short hike to sea lodge beach. We really enjoyed the more chill Princeville/Hanalei area and loved Hanalei bay. It was the most amazing vacation and we definitely had a hard time leaving!

I stayed for 7 nights with my wife and three daughters during the second week of May; this was planned as our 'last' family vacation before two of my daughters head-out on their own into the world of college and the military... so I wanted the entire trip to be unforgettable. This property delivered above expectations - it is in a perfect location on the most beautiful side of Kauai and is insanely close to some of the most desirable attractions and hiking spots. There is literally a path in the backyard leading down to a secluded beach, and the hike to get there is fun. This property is also minutes away from Secret beach which was worth the visit. If you are going to Kauai, you should stay here.

Our experience in renting this lovely property was stellar. We had questions months before we arrived, and all were promptly answered. Home access information was sent well in advance, enabling us to get the information to all fellow travelers.
The house is even better than the website photos and video. Rooms were all spacious with large closets. Living areas were amazing, providing space for the 8 people in our group to find quiet time and cozy corners.
The washing machine and dryer were a total bonus for the clothes we played in each and every day on this beautiful island. While the house listing mentioned chairs and other such beach gear, we had no idea there would be enough for all of us to lounge on the beach with chairs and beach towels, boogie board and snorkel. The ice chest was used every day. There were other outdoor toys we did not even touch, but we felt so blessed by what we had available for use!
The dining areas on the outdoor lanai and the inside dining room were perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat in such comfort inside or outside. We are a family of cooks and the kitchen was greatly appreciated and well stocked. It was such a pleasure to have more than enough of everything…glasses, plates, cutlery. The stemless wine glasses were also appreciated.
Instructions for the hot tub, which was thoroughly enjoyed, and other dos and donts were very clear. There was no lack of clarity as to what could and could not be done in the house.
The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Princeville, where gorgeous albatross landed and took off from the back yard overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean surf. Neighbors we met were so kind, sharing nesting and historical albatross information with us - pointing out the babies.
As we cooked our first meal, we noticed an issue with the dishwasher and called the local contact, Troy. Troy could not have been more prompt in getting to the house to fix the issue. He was kind and we enjoyed speaking with him - - we probably should have asked him to dinner!
This was a very down to earth house in a beautiful location. There was really nothing fancy in the house - besides the beautiful view of paradise - yet it was well appointed and more than functional. It would be a pleasure to be able to return with our family to this lovely home for more celebration and family time on this garden island.

Lovely home with an amazing view of the ocean. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for separation of parents and teenagers each got their own room. Large kitchen that we cooked in almost every morning and night. Home has seating at the bar in the kitchen so while cooking others can conversation with you. Large dining table inside and outside to fit everyone’s comfort. Enjoyed morning coffee and tea while taking in the lovely ocean and all the greenery. Beautiful birds come to visit daily and we gave them all names. We saw several Albatrosses resting in the yard. We had a rather rainy and cool week so didn’t have to run the AC at all so can’t speak for that. Plenty of beach chairs, a small cooler, umbrellas (came in handy for this week), towels, 4 boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Since we had a wet week there were many mosquitoes and the local grocery store was completely out of repellent and itch cream so recommend you bring those if you have a rainy time. Another big plus was the full size washer and dryer (laundry soap and dryer sheets included), hair dryers in all bathrooms and an outdoor shower to wash off all the sand. Host is very responsive and offered wonderful suggestions on where to grab groceries and things to do around the island. The internet went down for a day and host provided communication on that. The only random thing was the refrigerator made a constant humming noise that was loud at times but it didn’t interfere with our stay. Looking forward to coming back here again!!!

This house was very clean and the perfect size for our group. The view of the ocean is amazing and we love the location. Rodney was very responsive and answered all my questions very quickly. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkle gear and beach toys for the kids so we did not have to rent or buy anything. Great place to stay!

Rod's beautiful Princeville house was even better than the images make it look! We had a full house with a bunch of little kids for Grandpa's birthday, and the house was a perfect fit for everyone. The giant yard was great to play in and the upstairs kitchen and patio became the mainstays of the trip. Well located for multiple activities as well, and fully stocked with beach gear to make packing easier. Would love to come back in the future!

We had 5 adults and 3 preteens and the beautiful home perfectly fit our needs. It is very well equipped for all aspects of a vacation - plenty of beach equipment and a very well appointed kitchen. We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets from the upper lanai and dined there whenever we were home. The kids enjoyed the game selection when a rain storm kept them inside one day. We would definitely stay there again when visiting beautiful Kauai.

Our group included two families of four and a couple. This large luxury home was a perfect fit, with what came down to separate living quarters for each family. The spacious kitchen, common spaces, and lanai provided plenty of space for gathering together. Birdwatching from the lanai was fabulous. The hike to the beach was gorgeous and easy for the hikers in our group, though it required hiking poles for the eldest hiker. And the beach was stunning with tidepools, snorkeling, and the occasional passing frigate bird. Wow!

Multi-family home in Princeville
Lovely home with a great location! The house very comfortably hosted 3 families with school aged children. We ate outside every night and the kids loved playing in the big yard! It was so nice to have some amenities when we got there. The 10 minute walk to the beach was a little tough for our 75-year old parents. But, it was fine for everyone else!

Beautiful house with magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean
My husband and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary with our children and grandchildren at this house. Lots of space and everything we needed. Owner was quickly accessible to any and all communications we needed to have with him. We had a wonderful week filled with great excursions on this beautiful island. We highly recommend the Catamaran Dinner Cruise, hiking, the tubing adventures, and many beautiful beaches, helicopter rides, the Kauai Downhill Bike Ride were all spectacular.

Beautiful home and location
We loved everything about this home. It accommodates our group of 10 very comfortably and had all the amenities we needed. Beach towels and snorkel gear were available for our use which really helped lighten our luggage. The location is near shops and easy access to local beaches, plus a semi private beach witching a quick hike from the house. We loved breakfast on the lanai in the morning and greeting all of the chickens and birds that came to visit. The owner really helped us out after we had to post pone our original plans from 2 years ago and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thanks for making our trip even more enjoyable!

This home is located in a beautiful community and was perfect for our family of nine. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for family meals. Plenty of beach towels, chairs and toys were provided. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

I love to cook for my family, so the huge kitchen was so nice and extremely well stocked.

Comfortable, Great Location
We had a fantastic time at the property. Just a short 10 minute hike to a gorgeous lookout and what felt like our own private beach. Great table overlooking a large backyard and ocean, where we had breakfast and dinner almost every day. Plenty of amenities throughout, including beach equipment, everything you need in the kitchen, and even a welcome bottle of wine. The property owner was kind and communicative throughout. Excellent.

Great property with lovely views. Everything you could want in a home rental. Well stocked in the kitchen, comfortable beds, beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear. We were fortunate enough to watch an albatross make a nest and lay an egg in the back yard. 10 minute walk through the backyard to a small private beach. Would definitely stay here again. Owners very responsive via messaging.

Great location
The location was wonderful. The view from the patio is gorgeous. Kauai is beautiful. The property manager is pretty responsive. The cable wasn’t working (tried to tune in for a football game) and there were some kind of bugs on the kitchen window in the mornings (they would go away once the sun shined through- we assumed this is normal with the open windows). Make sure to take photos upon arrival if any items need to be addressed. All in all we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return to the island.
