Built in summer of 2014 home with central AC, ideal for entertaining friends and family. Whether spending a week for summer vacation or in town for a wedding at Willow bend or Popponesset Inn, this house is the perfect home base while you visit Cape cod. Just 5 mins the Upscale Mashpee Commons, 10 mins to Popponesset Inn, 10 minutes to South Cape Beach. Beat the traffic and Bring your small power boat and bring yourself to beautiful, Popponesset beach! Boat ramp is 1/4m walk.

We had a great time - plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, good location. The boat landing is a short walk and wood trails right across the street. Easy communication with the owner.

My family had a great week at this spacious, modern, and clean home. Communication was great. The home is located in a great location.
We spent our days at south cape beach (short 15 minute drive). I brought my bass boat and did some fishing at nearby Mashpee lake and John’s pond. We also went kayaking at the boat ramp in Popponsett bay.
We also visited Falmouth for mini golf, Mashpee commons, tree house brewery in sandwich, and downtown Hyannis. All of which were within 30 minutes of the property.
No complaints at all. Highly recommend.

Our only problem we had is, after traveling from Buffalo,NY we arrived to find the upstairs toilet had diarrhea splashes on the toilet seat, and the bed in the master’s bedroom and both beds one of the other rooms downstairs were not made. It was a disappointing start but overall we had a great time and think the property and the house are beautiful!

Well, the house is very nice and has a good location. Well appointed and plenty of towels, linens, etc.. The main problem was the cookware. Just about all were stainless steel, which frankly everything stuck to, and were difficult to clean. There needs to be some non stick pans ( there were two small pots that were non-stick, but no non-stick pans). There also was a large hornet nest under the eave above the front entranceway. We had to go get hornet spray after one of the guys got stung. There is a beautiful pool table in the basement that came in handy on a rainy day, however there were only 2 long pool cues, one with a broken tip and the other with a warp in it, Given such a nice table. it was surprising that the cues were in such bad shape. Communication with Mike was unfortunately lacking before our arrival. We were told to bring duraflame logs for the fire pit, but there was no fire pit there.
We were not told of the parking difficulty at the boat ramp, and there were no instructions on how to get the sound bar on the TV operating. Mike did try to address these issues after the fact. If the pans were usable, and up front communications a little better, I would have given the place 5 stars. One plus was that the fishing was quite good. No stripers, but porgies, black bass, fluke, and some kingfish were plentiful. Overall we had a very nice time there.

We took a trip to the cape for a long weekend, and loved staying here. Sadly, it rained most of the weekend, but that meant lots of opportunity to enjoy the well appointed and tastefully decorated home. Some of the extended family could not join us, so the kids each got their own room on the main floor, and the upstairs became the 'adults zone'. The kitchen and living room proved perfect for hanging out in together, and the pool table in the basement got some use as well, giving us a chance to introduce the kids to the game. Although there isn't much within walking distance, there is an incredible wealth of options within a short drive. Truly something for everyone in this part of the cape, but definitely better when the sun comes out.

Our two-week stay with family was easily accommodated here, with plenty of bright, open living spaces for everyone to hang out when we weren’t at the beach. Easy-in and easy-out each day, and quiet nights made this rental great. Not so great: we spent nearly a day cleaning the house (and bathrooms in particular) upon arrival to bring it up to par. Having said that, we enjoyed our time there a lot.

Excellent Vacation
We grew up camping on the cape in North Truro so we really enjoyed being in a different area of the Cape. The house was in a great neighborhood, had all the amenities we needed and a quick drive to lots of shops, restaurants and Stop n Shop. The AC worked great as we were there during a heat wave. We enjoyed the great room so all the family could be together. I did not have much communication with the owners (I had no reason to contact them) but they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house and this area of the Cape!

Spacious house and nice location
I stayed here with my 19 yo daughter and 17 yo son. There was plenty of room for the three of us. Each of us got our own bedroom and having two bathrooms was nice. The bathroom downstairs where my kids slept had two sinks which was perfect for them. There was plenty of room in the kitchen and it was well equipped. The spacious living room was nice although we didn't spend much time there.
It wasn't perfect though. The upstairs master bedroom had several issues. It was warmer than the rest of the house. The chains for both the ceiling fan light and fan speed were not present so when the fan was turned on via the wall switch, the light came on making it unusable for sleeping. I temporarily solved that problem by removing the light fixture and removing the one bulb that was working (out of three). The bed was positioned in front of the window making it impossible to sit in bed and read since there is no headboard. I would have fallen back into the window. I temporarily solved that by moving the bed 90 degrees to a wall. However, I slept in the master bedroom only on the first of three nights because there was a constant 24/7 high-pitched hum coming from the next room (attic I'm guessing) that I could not deal with. Also, the pillows on the master bedroom bed were lumpy and in horrible shape. Fortunately, there was another bed in the upstairs living area that was comfortable, cool, quiet, and easy sit in and read. I was much happier once I moved to that bed.
My daughter complained that the downstairs shower was small and had such are large seat in it that she couldn't stand back far enough to get out of the shower head spray to lather up. She had to turn the water off temporarily to do that. The shower head couldn't be turned far enough to one side to keep the water running and not be sprayed.
In spite of these issues, we did like this house and its location. The house is in good shape, was nicely decorated, and comfortable to be in. There were plenty of towels, linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and cookware. Beach towels were provided, too. It was nice to be able to do our laundry at the house.

Relaxing Cape Cod Vacation
This was our first vacation on the Cape. We had family from Boston joining us from New York. Mashpee was a great location, not too far out, but still Cape Cod. The house was exactly as described, slept all six of us very comfortably. The AC was fabulous, we used it a lot as we had many 90+ degree days. We loved the pool table and got a lot of use out of it in the evenings. We grilled on the gas grill, but never got the chance to use the fire pit (it was hot and we were busy playing pool!) We rented kayaks for the week from RideAway, they were delivered right to the house, then we left them at the waterfront (right down the street) and went kayaking almost every day, it was a nice calm waterway. We also hiked and jogged at the Mashpee River Woodlands, which was right down the street (in the other direction from the water). The house was close to shopping and two great ice cream shops! Within 30 minutes of the house we went to South Cape Beach, Loop Beach, Sandwich Glass Museum, Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary, Hyannis, Cape Cod Railway, and mini golf. It was a fun week and the house was a great place to go back to and relax at the end of the day.

Great house
Very clean, great space! A/C was amazing during a very hot week. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Well stocked with dishes, pot, pans and even Tupperware to bring to the beach. Communication was excellent when we had a few questions.

Spacious comfortable home with great amenities
This home fit our family of 5 perfectly. It’s very spacious with several spots indoor and outdoor to gather with family. The kitchen is well appointed and the living/family room is great for lounging after a busy day touring the Cape. It’s location was a great base for visiting Falmouth and other mid Cape sites. Would highly recommend

Perfect getaway for a family trip
I stayed here with my family for MDW. The check in and out process was easy with the keypad. Mike was very helpful with explaining the check in process. The house has all updated kitchen appliances you need, a nest thermostat, and the washer and dryer were very useful during our stay. The downstairs bathroom was accessible. It had a walk in shower with a seat, which was just what we needed for my grandma. The house was in a quiet neighborhood but also close to Mashpee Commons. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home, great location, very clean
Location is perfect. Quite neighborhood but close to everything including some beautiful beaches, the commons. It's also a great central spot of you're wanting to do other things on Cape. The cape cod railway and heritage museum and gardens and lots of other things are all within 30 mins. We had so much fun exploring the cape with a good central home base to the things we wanted to do.
The house was clean, well stocked, only needed to ask one question to the host and they responded in less than 5 minutes. Everything was clean, the new grill is perfect, ran out of time to do smores in the fire pit! Backyard is beautiful.

Great rental!
The description and pictures didn't really do the house justice! We stayed for a week and found the house to be fully equipped and capable of handling even a sudden request to make cookies for a wedding reception (other than the mixer). My son enjoyed the loft as his video game area. Owners were extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend!

Great house for a couple of families
Our group was 4 adults and 3 teenagers. We had plenty of space for everyone to eat together, and hang out. The teenagers enjoyed playing pool in the basement. We had some questions for the owners and they responded very quickly!! We headed to Falmouth a few days and it was only about a 15 - 20 min drive depending on traffic.

Perfect home for a quiet Cape getaway
The owners proactively got in touch with us before we checked in and gave us all the info needed. They also responded promptly to all our queries. The house is just as advertised - new and well maintained and everything in perfect working condition. Great house for a family with kids with multiple bedrooms. The pool table in the basement was a big hit with our kids. The location is quiet and private. We will definitely go back!

It is basically brand new, super clean, full of amenities, perfect location and we had zero issues the entire week. The house comes with everything you will need and more. As advertised
My wife and I wanted our daughter, husband, and children to visit where my wife lived for several years as a child and to see where her grandparents are buried. Also took in a Red Sox game and became a typical tourist. This the first house we have rented and found the process simple and just what we were looking for. We had limited contact with the owner - he has a notebook prepared to explain most things and what is expected of renters. We will definetly use this method again.
