You won't find a more magnificent view than the one from this updated home in Black Butte Ranch, beautifully positioned to overlook the meadow and Black Butte itself. This Northwest-contemporary retreat includes granite countertops, floor-to-ceiling windows, two wood-burning fireplaces (in the living and dining rooms), and an eclectic collection of wall art that add beauty and warmth to your stay. Enjoy access to the resort's many amenities, including pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and golf courses, and come home each afternoon to a deck overlooking a natural spring, a gas barbecue, and a wonderful yard with a free-standing porch swing and lots of space for the kids to play.
The resort community of Black Butte Ranch sits 30 miles northwest of Bend and seven miles northwest of charming downtown Sisters. When you're not golfing, playing tennis, swimming, or riding horses, you'll find many trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling within the resort and in the surrounding national forest land. In the summer, several whitewater rafting outfitters have pick-up and drop-off services at the Rec Barn; come winter, you can make the easy 20-mile drive to Hoodoo Ski Area for downhill sporting at its best. On days that you don't feel like cooking, you can head to the Lodge Restaurant for fine dining or to Robert's Pub for casual fare. For even more options, visit the cute western-style shops and cafes in Sisters or Bend's popular breweries and restaurants.

Everything. We’ve stayed here about 15x and it is a lovely home to relax in. Great kitchen for cooking. Lots of deck space even for outdoor dining. After a hike or bike ride the jetted tub was very nice.

The view is great and the home is great for family get togethers.

The home is beautiful and the peak-a-boo view of the meadow was nice. Turkeys visited the property daily and the deer mom and twins were always just down the hill. Close walk to the Paulina Spring for the best water on the planet ;)
We were staying at the ranch to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had our elderly mother with us. The stairs down to the front door were a bit challenging for my mom since there is no handrail. The loft bedroom and “nursery “ type room with the twin bed were quite warm even though the temperature was not too hot. The AC helps a little but we really needed to open the high window in the loft. Unfortunately we didn’t find the ladder until our departure. A couple of the other windows were missing screens so we didn’t open them due to bugs and bats, this would have helped cool the house at night
This was a very comfortable home and we would stay again.

Home was lovely. Nice peekaboo view of the horse field and black Butte. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This home has a lovely peekaboo view to the main meadow area and an abundance of privacy. The house is oriented to maximize views and is comfortably furnished. The pools were not open yet for our stay but there is no lack of available activities in the resort or surrounding area. We would not hesitate to stay in this lovely house again.

This home is light and bright with an almost 180 degree view. It was thrilling to view elk in the meadow some mornings and bright stars at night.

Our family of seven had a great spring break and had plenty of room to spread out. A very nice house for the price.

We stayed in this home two years ago and it's only gotten better since then. The thoughtful design choices throughout the house make it so comfortable. The views, location, fireplace and overall layout are fantastic for a family of six. This time we had my parents with us for a fun, three generation, long weekend. They loved this house as much as we did!
Weather was perfect so we enjoyed long bike rides, walks to Paulina spring, the Heritage trail to the lodge and of course the indoor pool at Glaze Meadow. The flock of wild turkeys that are always nearby and sleep high up in the trees below the property added to the natural wonders for us and the kids. Coupled with a full moon, they were amazing it watch.
The new main lodge and restaurant are stunning, we love seeing all the wonderful additions to the ranch amenities year after year!

We loved staying in this beautiful house. The views are gorgeous and the house is in a great central location on the ranch, yet quiet and tucked away. The updated kitchen was so nice and suited our needs perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having extra bedding for the cold nights. Our only complaint is we wish there were shades in the upstairs loft bedroom and we wish there was a tea kettle. But all and all, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!

10/10. This home has some of the best views on the ranch. It’s newer than most homes, very clean/comfortable, and had an incredibly well stocked kitchen. There were 7 of us and the kids still had plenty of room to run around.

We loved the huge windows and view. Location was excellent and the house was spacious enough for everyone. Weather wasn’t cooperating so I’d love to come back when we can lounge on the decks.

This was our second time staying at Hilltop Getaway and we sure hope it isn't our last. The home is equipped with everything you need. We loved gathering as a family in the living room with a fire going and just reading, relaxing, and disconnecting. It's close to Hoodoo and makes for a great winter escape. We are already looking at the next dates we can snag this house. Thank you so much!

Loved everything, the views from the living room and kitchen, the stocked up gourmet kitchen e we itch every gadget you wish for, the cleanliness, the view from the upstairs, the openness, the comfortable beds and high quality central oregon covers, the two fireplaces, easy access to wood, our early morning walks in the snow, proximity to Sisters, a lovely small town, and Smith rock park makes a wonderful day trip for hiking and climbing . All in all we had a great time. Thank you!

This was a fantastic home for our 30th anniversary. A little snow, wild turkeys on the property, a great view of Black Butte and a very comfortable home with fires each night made for a fantastic getaway.

We really enjoyed all of the windows and the view in this home. It was very clean and had a wonderful selection of books. The beds were definitely more comfy than other homes we have stayed in at BBR.

A view with privacy
Great off-season break from life. Was looking for a fireplace and a view and got both! Two story wall of windows with a woods and Black Butte view was great for lounging in comfort. Well appointed kitchen and great deck space were a bonus. Parade of wild turkeys every evening provided natural entertainment.

Our stay
Nice house, great views, definitely enjoyed our stay. A couple minor issues: Remote control blinds in master bedroom and master bathroom did not work; TV instructions not clear, hard to figure out; box of firestarters next to fireplace was empty.

Beautiful Home!
The location on a hill above the meadow was stunning, especially with several inches of snow on the ground. We loved all the windows and the open floorplan in the common areas.

Relaxing Vacation!
We had a great time in this home. The great room and fireplace is a wonderful reading spot. Everything was as described and we appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is in terms of cookware. I have stayed in a fair amount of homes at BBR, this one was by far our favorite. Watching the sun come up with the view of Black Butte was fantastic. Thank you!!

Spectacular location
We've stayed here a few times, it's a lovely spot and beautiful home. Appliances are getting a *wee bit* long in the tooth, but overall a spectacular experience.

Large and inviting Black Butte oasis
We came to escape the smoke, but it followed us. But we were so happy in the home that we didn’t feel like we missed a moment of goodness. Great home.

Black Butte Vacation
I have vacationed in Black Butte for over 15 years. This is hands down the best location we have stayed at. The views of the meadow and the butte from the multiple house balconies. During the twilight hours, we often saw a mother deer and her fawns, wild turkeys, horses, and cattle. The house was immaculately cleaned and comfortable. I did alert Vacasa about a dryer that wasn't working and light switches that need to be fixed. The sheets were clean but poor quality. I would definitely stay again.

All the comforts you need
This lovely home has all the amenities needed for a very nice stay. The kitchen is full of everything needed to prepare nice meals. The setting is amazing with a view of one of the areas small mountains and a field of horses.

It has an amazing view of Black Butte, is well positioned between Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow, and has great sunlight!

Perfect location and lovely home!
Lovely home!! Great location and arguably the best view at the Ranch! Very quiet and relaxing. Beds are comfortable towels ok. Kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine... except enough dish soap or paper towels. Not enough toilet paper either. Apparently Vacasa policy only provides a day or two worth? Good to know ahead of time. Minor inconveniences for an otherwise really great home that met our needs perfectly.
For reference for future renters, I’d also note some appliances are a bit dated. We had some trouble with the oven and stovetop cooking consistencies, but again just good to know going in, this didn’t have a big impact on our enjoyment of the home. Also, as noted in other reviews, the drier is not working properly. We arrived to a drier full of wet towels and couldn’t get the drier to run a full cycle. Quick air dry outside and all was well - but hopefully Vacasa will address this soon.
Overall a truly amazing home that we enjoyed greatly!

This house is very well located with a beautiful view and nice decks to enjoy. The layout is good.
We were pleased with the property and house. We were disappointed in trying to reach Vacasa/property manager in regards to a missing remote resulting in no ability to use the large Smart TV in the home. This was not a deterrent but would have been nice to have access to the TV. We would stay in this home again.
