Coastal comfort with miles of hikable hills and sandy beaches just a short walk away. Experience the coastal waters from a safe beginner's surf beach up to Maverick’s west of Princeton Harbor. Great sites and venues for weddings and friends & family gatherings. Fine dining in downtown HMB and along the Coast. Ritz Carlton dining, tennis and golf a few minutes drive away. Yoga and pilates centers, nearby. Tennis courts at nearby high school and grade school. Golf driving range within 10 minutes walk. Olympic pool at College of San Mateo just 15 minutes drive away. Walk to art galleries and quaint shops in nearby downtown HMB. Coastal sunsets that take your breath away. Updated and pristinely clean home with peaceful, embracing backyard, jacuzzi tub and steam & dry sauna for restoring relaxation. Accommodations include beds for 7 adults and air beds for a total of 8 people. One pet up to about 35 lbs is welcome! All pets need to be preapproved before acceptance. The new short-term rental ordinance (Chapter 18.06.025) applies to all bookings.

The place had all the amenities and the sauna was a bonus! We played two days of golf at Halfmoon bay and rested at home relaxing in the sauna, played music and just enjoyed the house. Thx. Only downfall was a response from the owner and reply time was bit slow. Otherwise it was perfect getaway.

This property worked really well for our six woman book group. We were close tro the beach for walking, and there were so many great restaurants nearby.

This was a perfect place for us to relax and spend time with out daughter and grandson. The house is lovely and spacious and is very close to a walking path along the coast, where we walked almost every day.

As the title says this very much felt like a home away from home - we were delighted to be able to enjoy it with our own family. There is a playground d next door which you can see from the back garden. Some reviews commented that perhaps there should be some screening. As long as you know it’s there I disagree. It’s a perfect spot for parents and grandparents to keep their eye on grandchildren playing in the park!

Really appreciated our stay in your home. This was a poignant time for our family and friends to honor and celebrate our mom's life. And especially to highlight my mom's community in Half Moon Bay.
This home did not disappoint and was a very welcoming place to return to each evening as we came "home" from my mom's funeral and then doing the work to move out of her home over on Myrtle.
Thank you and hope to stay again.

The house is more spacious than what the pictures on VRBO reveal. Also, the home is conveniently located near many amenities (e.g., the playground is right next door and the beach is only a couple of blocks.)
This rental is ideal for families and family gatherings. The owners were kind enough to let me host my mom's 70th birthday dinner party at their place, which were so appreciative for. Thank you, Keith!

This spacious property was perfect for 3 couples. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, big dining room & lovely yard. Having 3 1/2 bathrooms was a big plus.

We had a wonderful stay with a short walk (~10 min) to the ocean. The home was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Beautiful fenced in backyard, felt very safe to let my small dogs roam in the backyard.

The home is beautiful and spacious. There are many books, games and albums that entertain for hours. The yard is comfy and serene. Next door is a great, I mean great park enjoyed by the neighborhood and us, of course. I would stay here again for sure! Thank you to the owners, Keith and Carin!

House is a 5min walk to the bluffs on the coast and walkable distance to the heart of Half moon bay. Kitchen was well stocked. The backyard is super cute. We really appreciated having 3.5 bathrooms.
The house is truly RIGHT next to the park. I think the house could benefit from some additional privacy hedges, but it's no big deal

Everything about this home away from home was beautiful-flowers (some real some not) were everywhere; decor was nice but relaxing. The outside seating area was gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking. The walk to the beach was easy. Loved our stay!

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and large this place was. It’s very clean, has a quirky layout with quirky items. It feels like a home converted to a rental so there are interesting items in the house to explore such as decor, books, games and a record player, which we thoroughly enjoyed listening to one evening. (Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac and John Lennon to name a few). We loved sitting in the back garden and patio among all the beautiful plants and flowers that are well taken care of. We personally enjoyed having a children’s playground next door as it provided lively sounds of a good time being had.
Lastly, the location can’t be beat. It’s in the heart of the neighborhood. Walk outside and turn right and walk straight to Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail for walks atop the cliffs and beach. Twenty minute walk in the other direction takes you to main street with novelty shops and restaurants.
Pro-Tip - we were there for a wedding and several of us needed to get ready at the same time. The upstairs bathroom has Jack and Jill sinks and one long, large mirror - this came in very handy accommodating everyone.

This property is extremely clean, easily accessible and spacious. The hosts were responsive and friendly. The location is a couple blocks to the beach, and close to parks and town. The house was full of amenities that made us feel at home. We would rent this property again and would suggest it for family and friends.

We loved staying here! The house was clean and well maintained and had all of our needs. Our kids walked around upon arrival declaring “this is so nice!” The location was wonderful, a sweet neighborhood with a fantastic park and playground right next store. It was easy as can be getting to the beach and pumpkin patch. We loved it and will be back!

Our family felt very comfortable staying in this home for 10 days! It was walking distance to a family wedding and central to all the exploring we wanted to do. We had breakfast in the garden each morning. Our three professional musicians enjoyed the added bonus of the grand piano, as well as the vinyls and turntable. The beds were extremely comfortable! The kitchen was flully stocked- with much more than most rentals ever provide. And the water filtration system was a wonderful surprise!
The playground next to this home was one of the busiest I have seen. The joyful sounds from the young ones was much more abundant than the occasional screams and yelks that were a bit startling at times.
This home had everything we needed - and much more! - for a nice, long family vacation!

So sweet this house and yard! We really enjoyed the neighborhood (playground nearby). Had dinner at Pasta Moon - yummy (highly recommend). Rooms were cozy and spacious, well decorated and clean. Soft sheet and record player:) Played the ivory keys too:) (Piano). Would stay here again. Loved this VRBO!

The location to town and water were also fantastic - short drives away as well as beautiful walks out. Only caution is that my husband and I are allergic to cats and found a fair amount of cat hair in the house (to be fair we spend a lot of time on the floor with the kids) so had allergies all weekend. But if that’s not an issue for you - even better! Overall would recommend the house for small families!
