Welcome to The Village at Bear Trap Dunes Resort community. Enjoy this single family home rental, which is the closest to the main pavilion in all of Bear Trap Dunes. If you have a very large group of family and friends, you can also rent our 5 bedroom homes next door or across the street. This Bear Trap Dunes vacation rental is pet friendly (dogs only please), with a $300 non-refundable fee for up to two dogs.

Only 7 day Sat to Sat rentals available during the peak summer months from mid-June (June 15 in 2024) through Labor Day weekend. There is no availability for weekends or less than a 7 day rental during this time frame.

This spacious 2-story 5-bedroom (with loft), 4-bath single family home - at 3000 square feet - offers two first floor master suites and two more bedrooms on the second floor, each with a TV. The loft on the second floor is a great place to read a book, have a conversation or just enjoy some quiet time after a hectic day at the beach or pool. Fantastic open deck, screened porch, gas grill will built-in gas line, and large backyard provide great outside space for barbeques, relaxing and playing. There is also an outdoor shower for cleaning off after a busy day at the beach. The front of the home has a large covered front porch where you can relax and people watch. There is plenty of parking space available in the long driveway and on the street in front of the house. The garage has a second full size refrigerator/freezer which is good for those extra beverages or just to help hold all the food for a hungry family. The garage is equipped with 6+ beach chairs for your convenience.

The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for four and the dining area seats six. The dining area has an exit via sliding glass door to a screened-in porch and deck areas. The screened in area includes an outdoor table that seats six as well as comfortable seating on the deck. The family room with gas fireplace offers comfortable seating and a 50'' Flat Screen HDTV. Laundry room with full size washer/dryer connect directly to the two car garage.

The main floor of the house offers two bedrooms with attached full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed with the master bath offering a jacuzzi bath tub, separate shower and vanity area with dual sinks. The second downstairs bedroom has a full bed with a bathroom with a large shower. There is a half bath in the downstairs hallway.

The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has two bunk beds - one is a twin over full plus trundle and one is a twin over twin. Upstairs full bath has a tub/shower combination and vanity area with two sinks.

The house is ideal for multiple families. The minimum age for renting this home is 25. No school groups.

Located just two miles west of Bethany Beach, ten miles south of Rehoboth, and seven miles north of Ocean City, Maryland, the Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. The abundant amenities include indoor and two outdoor pools, fitness center, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court, hot tub, saunas, and community meeting room with free wireless Internet for homeowners and guests, playgrounds, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant. A pass is required for anyone four and older to access to the amenities and can be purchased at the Pavilion (1 October Glory Ave). Cost varies based on the season.

Beyond all the amenities available at Bear Trap, you can also enjoy TAX-FREE shopping at the many outlet shops in the area, family activities in the area including water parks, mini-golf, go-carting, kayaking, bowling, nature center, amusement rides, etc. Restaurants vary from boardwalk pizza, fries and subs to fine dining.

We had a great time at Bear Trap Dunes! House was in a wonderful location! It was very clean and well-stocked, from cooking tools and eating utensils to laundry soap. Janet was awesome. She was proactive reaching out and very quick to answer questions. She explained the process for using the pool and tennis courts and even sent he QR code in advance. The house set up was great. We enjoyed the yard and the screened in/open porch as well as the new grill! There were even extra beach towels and chairs, toys, etc available for use. We definitely will be booking again! Thank you Janet!

Enjoyed everything Delaware had to offer. House was clean, ready and had everything we needed to have a great time. Janet was courteous and friendly. They were in communication the entire trip and we had no issues while we were there. Great time and we can’t wait for our next vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well stocked - especially the kitchen. The kitchen appliances were great. There was one issue with the cleaning crew; however, the owners addressed it immediately. We loved the house and the neighborhood.

Rented Janet’s House for our last family’s vacation that ended on Labor Day of 2022. Home was clean and was well stocked with everything one would need for a short family stay. Home was right across from pool which was great and there were shuttles to take you to and from Bethany beach which was only about a couple of miles. Home was very clean and well maintained.Communication was excellent and would definitely stay here again.

House was very spacious and clean. In an excellent location and easy drive to Bethany beach, Rehoboth beach, and Ocean City MD. Property manager/owner was very pleasant and responsive. A must for family and friends staying together.

Unfortunately for the first time using VRBO we were very disappointed with our rental. When we walked in and saw the living area, we were surprised as it is smaller than it appeared in the photos.. Dining was very awkward for our group as it was a tight fit for all of us to get around the table for a family meal. All showers were full of mold and the back porch was dirty with cobwebs and bird droppings on the dining table. The area that’s advertised as a another sleeping space upstairs was a hall way, not enclosed and impossible to sleep in. I felt terrible that our family member ended up sleeping on the couch in the living area down stairs and never had a full nights rest. However, the property manager did reply quickly about the areas that needed cleaning. The house is located very close to the pool which was convenient, and it is a lovely neighborhood.

Janet’s property was perfect for our annual beach trip with friends! The home is in a quiet golf course community, just a short drive from Bethany Beach. A perfect neighborhood for walking and biking. Our girls LOVED having the cool bunk bed room. Janet was traveling, but made sure to still stay connected with us during our time at her home. We’d stay here again for sure!

Loved how close it was to the pool with an infant and 2 year old . Plenty of space large table to play games. Nice outside porch and enclosed deck. Chairs on back deck need repainting because heat of the week paint came off on everyone’s back. It was the hottest weather. Yard was great to play frisbee and ball. Enough space comfortable beds would definitely recommend. Men played golf and thought it was good too.a great family time at a spacious home

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for spring break. The home was located in a great neighborhood that was close to town and all of the main attractions. The owner of the home Janet made sure it was fully stocked with toiletries, linens, seasonings and even games for the children to play. There was cozy fireplace in the living room and screened in porch to enjoy a nice meal. We only had to drive about 15-20 minutes to everything. The owner is very responsive to questions and friendly. I would definitely stay at this home again.

This house was perfect for us. Very clean and simply decorated. Had everything we needed. A bit of drive to the beach, given that the community is golf-course adjacent. But we would definitely stay again. Liked the gas range for cooking. The owner asks that you either bring your own towels or wash the ones you use prior to departure; this was not a big deal, but the dryer was a little slow, so keep that in mind. Appreciated the ability to bring our dog to the trip!
