About this house rental
Welcome to our home at Village of Bear Trap Dunes, Resort, and 27 Hole Golf Course. This resort is located three miles from Bethany Beach. During your stay at the Village of Bear Trap Dunes, you'll be able to enjoy activities such as golf, swimming, tennis, biking, fitness facility, basketball, and walking on the beach or just plain relaxing around the two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, Jacuzzi or sauna. There is a beach shuttle to Bethany Beach that runs every half an hour in peak season.
Our home has been rated Platinum. It has a beautiful lake view. It is a newly furnished single-family home with plenty of space. It’s decorated in good taste and it’s comfortable.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first by the entryway contains a queen size bed, the second a spacious master bedroom with a king size bed. The second floor is made up of three more bedroom. Another Master bedroom with another king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin size beds.
It has a big screen plasma TV in the great room and a TV and DVD player in every bedroom. We have high speed internet access in every room and an office if you want to be in touch with your office. The spacious kitchen is well equipped. Our home offers you all the amenities for a well deserved vacation.

We really enjoyed this home and location. We did experience a couple of minor plumbing problems but the hosts quickly responded to fix the issues.
Our family consisted of 5 adults and 4 children ages 8 and under. Lots of room. The pond for fishing was an added bonus.

Our family spent the week here between Christmas & New Years and it was a great gathering place! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy meals, a puzzle, & some crafts. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The back screen porch would be a lovely spot in the warmer months. We originally planned to use the indoor pool, but decided it wasn't worth it for the cost/person ($30 for 3 days, and we likely would have only used it one day. That would have been $200 to go swimming!) We found plenty of other things to do in the area. The host was response to our questions and gave us extra time for a later checkout.

We recently stayed in Ana Maria’s lovely home over the holiday weekend. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with quality cookware, bakeware, cutlery, and plenty of workable counter space. The home was extremely clean and comfortable for a large group. The two dining tables plus a small sitting area in addition to the large family room were really comfortable for games, or smaller groups to gather. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and there was a high quality washer and dryer in a convenient location right off the family room. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing!

We had a great time! The location was perfect for all. The shuttle picks up right across the street. The pool in perfect for all ages. The house has great gathering spaces for a large family. But also enough for quiet time when needed. The screened in porch at sunset was my favorite space. Our host was responsive and easy to reach. LOW Stress week.

Perfect house. Very spacious, including garage and driveway. Great location in back of neighborhood makes it convenient to get to beach. Shuttle is perfect for different family members to come and go at different times. Anna Maria was is super easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. The was a perfect spot for our family! We hope to get back to this house soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Accommodations were well equipped for a stress free stay. All of the essentials and more! Ample space for our three families to live comfortably. Communication with the host was easy and always with a prompt reply. Pool facilities are perfect for families with young children.

The property was awesome, very clean, spacious, and within 10-30 mins from several beaches. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of items for my family to use at the beach; chairs and umbrellas. The owner of the property was very quick to respond to any questions.. This property was far the cleanest house we've rented. The kitchen had everything you need and we loved that we didn't have to bring any of our beach chairs or umbrellas. The bikes hit the spot with the boys. Owner Ana Maria was available right away with any concerns.

Stunning and warm house with lake views- just beware that there is a $50/person fee for amenities (shuttle, pool, etc) which isn’t obvious with the listing. (We opted not to pay, and just found parking close to Bethany Beach that was $15.)

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house had everything a family could need for a week at a vacation home. We particularly appreciated the fact that the house had wood floors throughout insuring a high level of cleanliness. The screened in porch, outdoor shower and backyard deck were great features as well. Our owner was always easy to reach and responsive whenever we had a question. Overall, I highly recommend this house for a wonderful vacation!

What a great house for an extended family vacation! We were 3 generations and had a ball! Beach was close (10 minutes drive).
We went to Bethany Beach, Assateague and just relaxed. It was a memorable vacation.

This was a great house that was close to Bethany Beach and also within 30 minutes of Rehobeth and Ocean City. It was great to have a house where our entire family could all comfortably stay and have adequate space for a group of 12. It also worked well with adults and children. I really enjoyed how the neighborhood was quiet with easy access to various activities.

The property was extremely clean. Beds very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch. Plenty of space for our group of 13. Upstairs master bath is very small with no vanity space and one bedroom on the guest floor has no bath or closet. We made it work being we were with family. No separate office space as described in listing but my husband I worked in the bedroom when we had to be on calls. Overall we had a great stay!

My extended family, including young adults, enjoyed a week in this fully furnished, fully decorated, and fully equipped Bear Trap Dunes home. Everything (all appliances, AC, etc) worked, and the home was very comfortable as well as beautiful. Beds and bedding were luxurious.
We appreciated proximity to Fenwick state park as well as Bethany Beach. Weekly passes at $50/guest to use Bear Trap amenities (nice pool, tennis court, workout room) are a worthwhile purchase.
Ana Maria and her team were extremely responsive and helpful.

Owner was extremely easy to contact and very responsive when the dryer stopped working. Had a technician the next day check on it. The house itself was exactly as described. Lived having beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers so we didn't have to bring down. The facilities at the complex were great. Had a spot for everyone. Great vacation for families.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Ana’s property! The house was very spacious and worked well for our family. Ana was very responsive to any questions we had.
Our only minor issue was with the beach shuttle service provided by Bear Trap (no fault of Ana’s)! Our stay was before peak season, so only one shuttle was running and it wasn’t very consistent. For example, one morning we were waiting for it at 9:30, but it didn’t start making its loop until 11. We later learned that there is a website link that you can use to track the shuttles location, which would have been helpful to know. Again, not a huge deal and understandable since not many people were using the shuttle the first week of June, but just wanted to make future renters aware.
All in all, highly recommend this property!

I expected one would be on the first level with that queen room but there was only a powder room. But we’re family and we all know how to work things out. We would most definitely stay again. The home was clean and the house looked exactly how it was listed. The water was shut off by accident before we got there. Once I realized it was off, the owner was very responsive and got it taken care of within 30 min. The floors are really clean and slick so if you stay make sure you have some grip socks. Other than that, we enjoyed the home!

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely home. It is in terrific condition, beautifully furnished and equipped, very clean, and in a nice location. We would definitely come back. Our only issue, and it's a minor one, is that the listing doesn't make clear that there is a $50 per person, per week (or portion of a week) expense to use the community's pools, playground, tennis court, etc. Ana did explain this in our correspondence prior to our booking, but the listing itself made no mention of the extra charges if we wanted to use the amenities that are so prominent in the description. We ended up having plenty of other things to do and didn't purchase the passes, but it would be better to know about this fee up front. Other than this minor point, though, our whole stay was terrific, and we would definitely return.

We had a lovely time and the house is exactly as pictured! Spacious and enough room for two families and we loved the screened in porch. The neighborhood was great to ride bikes and walk. It’s a 15 minute ride via the complex shuttle - but at $50 per person for the week to use that service/pools/gym, a little pricey. Kids enjoyed the neighborhood pools. and pond behind the house. A few suggestions, the AC zones in the house are not great - we could not easily regulate the first/second floor. It was hot in the first floor master and freezing upstairs. The kitchen had ants. The deck had broken boards and is not the safest for kids. Make sure to bring kitchen essentials like dish towels, soap, garbage bags, napkins, etc. as it was not part of the supply. Overall, however I great vacation week and would recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay! The house fit our family nicely and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked and the appliances were modern. It was nice to have a back porch with plenty of seating. The dining room table fit all of us comfortably. We felt very safe and comfortable. Ana Maria was always available to answer my questions during the booking process.

The property is lovely. The photos are exactly what you see when you arrive. The pond in the back yard is home to ducks and they are beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has high qualify pots and pans to make cooking much easier. Ana is very easy to work with and very responsive. She handled the one issue quickly. I would highly recommend this home.

This rental was everything I could’ve wanted for my bachelorette weekend! Close enough to everything and clean/safe neighborhood. Communication with Ana Maria was fabulous and she was very kind and helpful with accommodating us and answering questions. I had so 10 girls for my bachelorette and there was more than enough room. We got rained in a lot and the space allowed for us to just enjoy each other’s company inside and play games :) I highly recommend this rental!

Lovely PropertyThe house was well appointed, clean, and much more spacious than anticipated. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and everyone was friendly. The backyard was wonderful, and we made good use of the BBQ grill. Beach chairs and umbrellas was provided, which was a plus for the beach. Take your own beach towels.Bethany Beach is 10 mins away with some shops and restaurants. A bit crowded on weekends and all parking is paid from 10am-8pm. We took a day trip to Assateague Island to see the horses, which was magnificent and visited Ocean City, MD. The property manager Ana was very prompt in responding to questions and booking was easy. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This home is even better than the pictures and description. The location is central to so much and Bear Dunes is a great neighborhood for walking and golf. My husband fished every morning in the pond in the backyard, and we enjoyed the sunny deck and screen porch as well. In the evenings we played games by the fire and watched tv and relaxed in the spacious open floor plan. The house is appointed beautifully, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well outfitted for your home away from home stay. The home owner is extremely responsive and attentive. We can’t wait to go back!!!
