We stayed for 4 nights, and the room and host were amazing!! Anke taught us how to use the stove and make coffee, the place was really clean, and there was hot water for showers! Consistent internet, right in the water, secluded but also right in the heart of activity. 100% recommend!!!

This little apartment was great! Centrally located on the Caye and our host Anke was fastastic. The apartment was well equipted and brightly decorated. We were a little worried about have no A/C but the fans worked great and there was always a breeze so I hardly even noticed. I can't say enough about Anke and her sweet son Andreas, who woke up at 6:00 AM to tell us goodbye on our last day there. We would definitly book here again.

The accommodation is a bit away from the crowded and sometimes loud island life in Utila. If you want to relax at the seafront, kajak to uninhabited islands, cook in your private kitchen (little pulperias exist so you can buy fruits and vegetables) oder eat in authentic little restaurants you are definitely right here. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
