Four Huia - Home from Home! 😃

We loved our stay at Four Huia! All the little items that were set out for us made us feel so welcome.🙂 Milk, OJ, butter, water in the fridge on arrival. There was tea, coffee, and cereal handy. The bed and bed-linen were superb. The hosts, Astrid and Marcus were wonderful - friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend Four Huia.

Long weekend stay

The personal touches and host’s communication were amazing. The place is well equipped and cozy. The weather was not the best when we were on the island but the spa pool helped and we enjoyed it.

Great cabin

I guess the hill up to the cabin might be a struggle for some people, but we were fine with it.

Great place to stay

Awesome cottage in great location close to shops,restaurants and beach. Fab views too. Very well appointed with lots of little extras. Bed, although small was very comfortable. Would be very happy to stay there again.

Effortlessly gorgeous and comfortable with a bucket-load of island charm.

I was wholly delighted by this bright and gorgeous little sanctuary. Beautifully comfortable, Netflix, everything works, the milk and butter and juice waiting in the fridge... and THAT stunning view provided by the enchanting balcony. Wow. If you go, please do the Oneroa-Onatengi walk, swing via a vino tasting at Obsidian. I've been to many places in this crazy world and Waiheke is memorably magical.

Beautiful property in peaceful location

Stunning location, welcome very friendly, accommodation comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Could have stayed much longer! Not far from bus stop and possible to walk to local wineries.

Best Place to Stay!!!

We loved absolutely everything! Comfortable bed, amazing location, attention to detail was excellent and personalisation was such a lovely touch!! It was a lovely home, with everything we needed and more! The owner was lovely and had great communication. We just can't wait to go back and stay again!!

nothing was spared to ensure our stay was more than comfortable. we thought the additional touches eg: drinks, chocolates, orange juice were pleasant surprises. the chalet was very quiet and it's only a short drive to Oneroa town centre and the beach. we had a great stay. highly recommended !!

Lovely private garden setting with lots of native birds to entertain. Very sweet and thoughful extras including chocolates and a wee jar of sand to keep as a momento.

A very peaceful little sanctuary. I could have stayed forever!

Cereal provided and lots of other treats. Host put so much care into providing something for every taste. I especially loved the range of books she provided and the little notes around the place.

Far exceeded my expectations. Wouldn't change a thing.

Superb

Astrid was very welcoming. Let us settle in, then came and introduced herself. Even dropped us into Oneroa. The view was lovely and the location very peaceful. The property was nicely decorated and all the little touches, e.g. chocolates were much appreciated.

Gorgeous little cabin style place with lots of lovely touches such as fresh flowers, milk and OJ. Even some yummy chocolates and drinks. 10 to 15 mim walk into the village and less to the beach.

Waiheke Island was much bigger than we expected, Oneroa is definitely the place to be.

Fantastic place for a weekend escape!

What a fantastic place! We absolutely loved our stay at 4 Huia, the room is a self contained unit at the back of the property, it's private, has a great view and a lovely garden with so many Tui's. The unit is clean with a comfortable bed, great shower and everything you could need during your stay. Astrid (the host) is really nice and a great communicator, she made sure we knew where the key was well in advance and there were so many personal touches around the place that were so lovely (like a little greeting card with fresh flowers). The location is great, a short walk to the shops and restaurants at Oneroa, close to bus stops and great beaches on your doorstep. The perfect weekend getaway :)
