Fabulous house and lovely views. Loved the wine tasting at Kennedy Point vineyard
We didn't quite realise how far the house was from town and any shops. We didn't get a pass for the bus, so we relied on taxis, which were very good and quick to get to us

The property is stunning! incredible location and views. Huge accommodation
it’s a little far from “town” but we didn’t see that as a downside. it was east enough to get taxis

both houses were stunning, and the views are astonishing
everything was perfect

the location was amazing and the house was well planned out for hosting multiple people as well as the beds were comfy and clean. the grounds were really beautiful and well maintained. the complimentary wine tasting was very much appreciated!
not a lot of complaints really…the kitchen sink was a little small with a very sensitive tap which was a challenge to manage dishes for 6 people. the house has a rustic charm for sure but could use a little maintenance in some areas.

Very relaxing and homely with excellent views. Well stocked and a very private location.
If only to nit pick, mozzies were a nuisance at night in the house and only discovered possible citronella before we left.

We liked our cottage's location - it was so quiet with a wonderful outlook down to the water. There was sufficient space so that no-one felt that they were crowding other family members. Walking around the property provided either easy or hard exercise - you choose. External access from the property was easy and travel to any other parts of the island was also easy. The car ferry docks just down the hill - you are off the ferry and into the cottage within ten minutes, if you dawdle.
We had only one complaint and we had to address that complaint to ourselves. This time we stayed for three nights - next time we shall stay for much longer.

We had a booking mixup and thought we had the other house on the property, which was 4 bedrooms (check this carefully). The house is ideal for a family with 3 children as it is 3 bedrooms and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds in it, or 3 couples where one couple don't mind single beds. 2 lounges was a bonus too. It was awesome to be able to wander down and do a wine and olive oil tasting on site.
A few more platters and serving dishes, a dishcloth, a mirror near the power point in the master bedroom (or a power point in the ensuite that can be used by a hairdryer), a quick garden tidy up, an umbrella stand and checking the lightbulbs all working would have made the stay a little more 'value for money'.

Beautiful views. Rented 2 houses and this was great for a large group. The layout of the properties is lovely and the views are amazing from the main house. Had everything we needed to cater for a large group. Overall a fantastic stay.
A larger fridge would benefit such a large house. Small things need checking between guests, ie: knives.

Loved the location. Photos did not do the views this place takes in justice. Had everything we needed and more. If you are wanting a property to showcase waiheke this is it.
BBQ kept turning off but a mild inconvenience when put in context with the rest of our stay.

We could not lock the outside door. There were no Tea Bags. There was water leaking from the dishwasher. We reported but they did not fix anything.
