This beautiful, contemporary home with large private pool perfect for lounging or relaxing after a long day at the beach is the perfect combination of privacy and luxury.
Conveniently located in a quiet residential area and just 10 minutes
Walking distance from the pristine Tamarindo beach and the heart of the town, where you find all the great restaurants, nightlife, shopping, beach & surfing.
This modern home has 3 spacious bedrooms each equipped with a full, ensuite bathroom, plus a half bathroom on the first floor for your convenience.
Two or the bedrooms are considered “master bedrooms”; one is located on the second floor with a private balcony for sunbathing,
and the other is on the first floor with its own terrace. The third bedroom has two twin beds and overlooks the pool and garden.
Each bedroom is equipped with a daybed to accommodate children or larger groups.
The house also offers an inflatable air mattress and for guests with infants, a Graco Pack and Play is available.
The home’s spacious, open floor plan includes a fully equipped high-end kitchen complete with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a large island perfect for entertaining.
Small appliances include toaster, blender, microwave and coffee maker. Dishes, glassware, cookware, towels, and quality linens are provided.
In addition to a gorgeous private pool surrounded by a tropical garden, the backyard’s covered terrace is the perfect place to BBQ and enjoy outdoor dining.

There is also a large laundry room with full size washer/dryer on the main level and weekly housekeeping is included.

Incredible trip. The hostess is incredibly welcoming and met us at the house. She showed us the property and welcomed us in person. We appreciated this. This was the perfect rental for 3 generations (6 people) for a week. Walkable to everywhere in Tamarindo, clean, spacious, great property manager, lots of comforts (laundry, A/C, full kitchen, completely private pool area with walled garden, huge closets, extra beach towels) and many high-end touches. We did find that the internet connection was not great and there were no railings on the stairs - not a problem at all for us but something I'd want to know if I was planning on working or had mobility/vision/childproofing concerns. It's in a residential neighborhood a few blocks off a main road that leads downhill to the town and beach.

This property is well laid out, providing a very safe and secure feeling.
With only a 20 minute walk from the beach and the core of Tamarindo, you’ll find an abundance of restaurants and bars.
The interior of the home is well kept and the kitchen has all of the amenities that one needs!
With no other parking near by, the garage is a bonus, however a larger SUV or Van would have difficulties fitting into it.
Unfortunately, we would’ve enjoyed the pool, but with the wind constantly blowing leaves and branches into it from the plants and adjacent trees, we found it uninviting.
Our checkin/checkout process went with out a hitch! Yira is such a pleasant Host. We found her to be very accommodating and gracious.

Our family of 6 (us, parents and adult children) absolutely loved our 2 week stay here. Setup of house allows for privacy for 3 groups with separate bathrooms and sitting areas. The pool and outdoor areas are perfect, pool cleaner and house cleaners arrived each week. Excellent for large groups with two spacious eating areas. Location is perfect, walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes to excellent restaurants, shops and beach. Property host Yira was amazing, provided so much help both prior to the trip and while we were there. Always answered within minutes to any question we had. Highly recommend this property.

Tamarindo 5th time
We had a lovely stay. House was exactly as described. Pool was a highlight. Yira is great at responding to any questions very quickly. Would highly recommend a golf cart as walk back from beach can be very hot especially with
groceries.
Pillows could use an update.
This was my 5th time to Tamarindo and the first time I had something stolen. I left a speaker outside when we went out. House was locked and alarm set but it was around the pool. Area is getting very busy and lots of construction so obviously petty theft is increasing. Still feel very safe in the area.
Highly recommend trying the new Morher earth vegan hotel just up the road for dinner as well asBamboo Sushi is a must for us every trip to Tama.

Perfect and as advertised
This property does not overcommit. The house is spacious, clean full of amenities. The back garden is an oasis. You could walk to town but we enjoyed renting a golf cart. Hands down, the best communication and support I have ever had; pre, during, post visit. Yira was amazing.

Nice but missing a few standard items
Overall, this property was nice in goo location. Unfortunately, it was missing things that one would expect to see in a property at this price point. No salt, pepper, laundry detergent, plastic wrap or foil were provided. In addition, the home could use a refresh - many little things have been neglected. Yira, however, was fantastic and very helpful to us, including scheduling a Covid test for our return back to the US. Thank you.

Fun stay in Tamarindo
Our first time with our family of 4 in Costa Rica.
The house was great, spacious, and well laid out for a family stay.
10 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart (highly recommended) to the beach. Yira the property manager was great, and assisted us with all of our needs. Loved the back yard pool area which was the realy highlight of the house after a long day on the beach.
Great landscaping with beautiful trees, birds. Great spot to eat Eutopia a french bistro just a short walk away for yummy breakfast treats.
The people in Tamarindo were fantastic we will be back!!

An Absolute Must!
This is our 2nd trip to Tamarindo; this property is outstanding--even better than the high-end resort we stayed in last time. The house is quite large and the decor is clean, bright, and beautiful. Our 3 sons were able to spread out between the twin beds in 1 room and the double bed in another while my husband and I had a king bed in the private room upstairs.
The swimming pool is an added bonus, as are the washer and dryer, and the backyard is incredible. We spent many early mornings and late afternoons lounging by the pool, enjoying the outdoors.
Yira was delightful and easy to work with.
Only one slight complaint (and it's minor)--the A/C upstairs struggled to keep the upstairs room cool. It was March in CR, and we knew it was going to be hot, but the only way to prevent that room from staying unbearable was for no one to shower upstairs and to keep the door to that room constantly closed. This was the only way to make the room temperature tolerable at nighttime in the upstairs room.
The home is just an 8-10 minute walk or so to the downtown area. We had a rental car which was terrific (and easy--the house has a garage) and allowed a day trip to Las Catalinas and also to the *not-to-be-missed* Lola's at Playa Avellanas. There is a new grocery store (Vindi) about a 5 minute walk away--another benefit.
All in all, this home is fantastic and comes HIGHLY recommended! Thank you, Yira, for a terrific week in Tamarindo!

We had a lovely catered dinner in the villa made by a personal chef and I would highly recommend Juan and his delicious meal options.
Tamarindo is great- we all could see ourselves coming back and staying there again.

Paradise experience!
This property was superb. The location is fantastic and amenities very good. The backyard and pool are amazing to enjoy the morning sun and late afternoon cool down. The only suggestionI would have is for more bathroom towels and items such as garbage bags, spices and oils and a few more utensils. Overall great.

Perfect Family Vacation
The house was clean and well supplied. Good furniture, beds and linens. We cooked most meals at the house and enjoyed eating at the outside table near the pool. The garage was nice to have for the rental car. The floor plan was good for privacy allowing some to sleep while others were cooking or watching a game.. It was an easy walk to the store and the beach.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. Was great amount of space and the pool was so lovely, house was well equipped and updated. Not far from town or beach, but i would recommend renting a golf cart to make it a bit quicker. Yira was a fantastic host. She arranged transportation to and from airport for us and answered all of our questions promptly.

Perfect home for a group. Great location and the house has it all
This was our first trip to Tamarindo. It's a small village that is super casual and there is a ton to do there. Everything is within walking distance and the terrain is pretty flat. The house is several blocks from the beach in an area with a lot of big, nice homes. The house is in a great location.
We had more than enough room for our family of five. It was big, open, modern and spacious.
It was clean, and a cleaning lady came in mid-week which was appreciated given that we had tracked a little dirt and sand in due to trips to the beach. The home is beautifully decorated. The pool is warm and clean. The landscaping around the pool felt like a fancy resort- it couldn't have been more beautiful or perfect.
My favorite part was waking up early to the birds and monkey sounds and sitting by the pool with my coffee and book.
We had plenty of towels and appreciated the washer and dryer. They also provided beach towels which was a major plus.
There's a charcoal grill that we used to cook our fresh mahi mahi that we caught on a fishing excursion.
Yira is an awesome property manager. She checked in and helped us with questions and helped us to book local activities. She was proactive and responsive. I felt like she was a personal concierge. She was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the house, told us where the grocery stores are located. She made our trip worry-free and enjoyable.

Amazing vacation home - all around!
This was our first trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica as well as our first time renting a home for a vacation and the experience was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful, modern, had a great location and had plenty of room for our family of six. The house was clean, and beautifully furnished. The pictures represent the home perfectly! The process to book the home was very simple and within minutes of booking our vacation home, Yira reached out to let us know she would be our contact for all our needs. Yira was incredible! Her response time to all of our questions was extremely fast. She helped us in every aspect of our trip. From arranging transportation to booking tours and excursions. She put our minds at ease. Yira greeted us upon arrival, provided us her cell phone number and let us know we could reach out to her any time day or night. The house is located about 10 minutes walk from downtown and another 5 minutes to the beach. There is a brand new grocery store on the way about 7 minutes walk. The house has all the amenities you would expect, including washer and dryer. They also provide beach towels, which is nice as it saved us room in our bags. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this property to all!

Perfect Home for your Vacation
This was our first trip to Tamarindo and first time renting a home versus vacationing in an all-inclusive resort. We absolutely loved this home, it was everything the pictures showed and what was described on the VRBO website. It is very clean and very well taken care of. From the moment we booked the home to the moment we left, Yira took care of everything for us. She is truly amazing and makes your vacation seamless. The house is located up the street from the main drag of Tamarindo, but a short walk lands you in the heart of the town with excellent beaches, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. I would highly recommend booking a golf cart prior to arriving for your vacation, we did not and they were all booked until midweek. Once we got our golf cart we were able to explore different beaches and areas of Tamarindo that would have been difficult to reach on foot, but not impossible. Yira booked all of our excursions for the daily trips we wanted to take, as well as our transportation to/from the airport. The house offers all the amenities and kitchen dishes needed to make meals yourself. Beach towels are supplied which was a huge benefit since the pool and beach are right at our fingertips. It was very nice having a washer and dryer also. The garage offers space for 2 4 people golf carts with electric outlets so they can be charged at night and ready for the next day. The housekeeper comes midweek which was great and much appreciated. We had 4 adults and 3 kids in our group and we never felt crowded and the kids enjoyed having their own room together since the one room offers all twin beds. Lastly, the pool was amazing! We all enjoyed the morning time sunshine with coffee and the evening sunsets to cool off after a day at the beach. You will not be disappointed when renting this home for your vacation. Yira will take great care of you and all of your needs. Pura Vida!!!!

Great Vacation Home
Everyone enjoyed staying at Casa Barcelona. This house was beautiful. House was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Did have an issue with a toilet leaking, but once we notified Yira, she had a crew there in a matter of minutes and within an hour the hose was replaced and leak fixed. What can we say about Yira. She was amazing. Her directions to her office were spot on and was there to answer any questions. Yira set up all of our tours and made sure that we had an enjoyable experience. The house is located within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, and beach. The Hacinda Robles Canopy Tour was amazing and so was the ATV Tour. Also enjoyed the Sunset Catamaran. On our next trip to Tamarindo we will definitely book Casa Barcelona again.

Yira the property manager, only made the experience even better!
This was our first trip not going to a resort or hotel on vacation. We looked into Tamarindo and found this location. A little worried about using VRBO it was quickly removed by the fast response from Yira the property manager(PM). She answered all our pre booking questions and arranged transportation from the airport to the home and back at a reasonable price.
The home was beautiful! The VRBO pictures online represent the home perfectly, almost every window was a sliding door if you wanted to let the fresh air in, very bright and spacious! As a family of 5 we had enough space to live comfortably without stepping over each other.
The house is a little bit of a walk from the main strip but manageable. With 5 of us and friends staying in other parts of town we rented a golf cart. It allowed us to venture out a bit further than we could on foot. The house has a garage with an electrical outlet to plug the cart in overnight.
We did have a few issues. The water went out for awhile and Yira was on top of the situation sending a maintenance person out. After investigation realized a root damaged the main pipe. It was fixed quickly! Sliding door screen wasn’t working properly, fixed!
I would recommend going to the supermarket and getting your basic food needs for the house.
The house had all you needed to cook in the kitchen, I would recommend bringing your own dishwasher pods. The dishwasher was probably the only item in the entire house that needs to be updated. There were plenty of linen, towels, etc. a washer and dryer to use so no need to pack as many clothes as you would going to a resort since you can wash! Bring some washing machine soap pods!
The back yard was beautiful! The pool was nice and relaxing, the kids enjoyed the pool in the morning while my wife and I had our morning coffee.
This place was absolutely great for the price! We looked at other locations in Tamarindo after returning home. They may be closer to the beach but, this houses, exclusivity and experience would be hard to beat. We will be back because it felt like home! Yira was wonderful I cant give her enough praise! She felt like a friend not a manager!
I would mention more about the town but I really wanted to make sure I covered our experience at the house.
The only thing I didn’t like was the week went by too fast! Next visit we hope to stay 2 weeks. Pura Vida!!!

Awesome Costa Rica Beach Vacation Home
First time to Costa Rica and was not sure what to expect. The home was great. Clean, modern and very accommodating for either fun, relaxing or entertaining. We felt the area was safe and comfortable. Plenty to do around there all in walking distance. Explored the tropical forest, going one way and relaxing on one of the best beaches in Costa Rica by walking the other way. Restaurants all in walking distance and a lot to choose from. We rented a car to explore other beach sites, but honestly, you can just stay right there every day. Surf, paddle board, swim, jog or relax with food and drinks close to the home. After each day's adventure, we would come back to the house and enjoy the pool and BBQ. Great landscaping in the back yard with the pool which makes for an awesome evening every night. Loved the upstairs room with the patio overlooking the forest where you can see parrots and monkeys in the trees. The management company and their staff also did a great job taking care of the home and us when we were there. Exceptionally clean home and plan to go back again. Would recommend it to my family and friends.

What a great week!
Awesome place, so clean and perfect for our stay. We have 4 young adult children and the accommodations were perfect for them. 3 bedrooms each with their own in suite bathroom which was great when everyone is trying to get ready for a day at the beach or a night out on the town. The pool at the home was perfect to finish of the after the day at the beach. The house was clean and the furniture and decor was incredible, total decorators touch to each area of the home. Having the cleaning people come mid week was an added bonus. The beach is within walking distance which made it convenient and with every imaginable activity at your finger tips, we went ATV'ing, surfing, paddle boarding and every night we had a variety of delicious restaurants within walking distance. Great family week we all enjoyed.

Beautiful home in the heart of paradise!
Our stay was absolutely perfect! I was blown away at how beautiful and welcoming the property is. The house is spacious and kept very clean. One of my favorite features of the house is the gorgeous backyard. We loved spending our mornings relaxing and sunbathing outside, which was routinely followed by a dip in the pool.
The house is situated a few blocks from the town and beach. The town offers numerous delicious restaurants, coffee shops, markets and even a yoga studio. Seriously, the restaurants were amazing – we ate like kings! We spent multiple afternoons at Playa Tamarindo, which is in walking distance from the house. Our beach visits ended with some of the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen.
Blue Water made it easy to arrange safe transportation to and from the airport and other desired locations. Additionally, you could schedule excursions directly through Blue Water.
Overall, I highly recommend this wonderful home for your visit to Cost Rica!

Perfect Rental Home in Paradise
Gorgeous breathtaking house in the heart of paradise. Amazing interior design, outdoor landscaping, and a pool you could accidentally spend the whole vacation lounging around.
The master bedroom and bathroom feel built for a royal stay and the rest of the house is just as amazing. The full kitchen makes it easy to buy a few groceries at the local market and relax in the morning and pack snacks for the beach. The living room feels designed to facilitate great fun and conversations during the downtime between activities.
The house is within brief walking distance away from the beach and the heart of the town where all of the delicious restaurants are located, but it is just far enough away that you can escape all of the noise and foot traffic when you are ready to relax.
I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway vacation.

Seclusion In Paradise With Central Location
Hidden just off the hustle and bustle of the main street to town, the location couldn't be more perfect for being secluded while still accessible to all the restaurants and beachfront town nearby. Be prepared to be amazed when you first step in - the house is gorgeous! 3 bed/3.5 bath - one with 2 twins opens up to the pool, one with a queen has a private patio, and the upstairs master has a jacuzzi with a scenic balcony. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with large shower space. Everything was spick-and-span, the place was perfect. You could even do your own laundry if necessary. Oh, and don't forget the spacious lap pool out back surrounded by towering palm trees - a perfect setting to unwind and read a good book or two. The Blue Water staff couldn't be more amicable - when we wanted to do an excursion, we could set it up the day before with no hassle. Picking up keys - the driver knew exactly where to take us in town, and you can always take a short walk over from the house to talk to the staff in person. In town there are also several restaurants, honestly more than we had time for, to choose from. Take your pick of fresh seafood joints, quaint coffee shops, spiritual yoga classes, or local bodegas serving up hometown dishes - it's all just around the corner from you. If not, hit the beach! I couldn't recommend this place more.

Incredible!! Definite re-book!
We had such an amazing vacation and could not have asked for a better place to stay! The house is only a short walk to the center of tamarindo, and it was incredibly picturesque. We did not stop taking photos the entire time. We opted not to rent a car, though we were happy to see that the house was equipped with a garage if we had. The property management company was great. They booked transportation for us to and from the airport as well as any day trips and excursions that we chose. The house was very clean and spacious with three bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) and we appreciated the half bath on the main floor. The kitchen was well-equipped, the house had WiFi and a washer and dryer, and the weekly maid service was great. The upstairs bedroom had a safe in the closet, although we felt so secure (the house is literally enclosed in cement walls) we elected not to use it. The backyard was awesome - the pool was perfect and the outdoor dining area was fabulous. It seems the owners of this house thought of everything down to beach towels, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! We are definitely looking at dates to re-book next year. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! Highly recommended!
