Very much a lake cabin but comfortable and clean

We spent most of the days outside but it was a nice location to return to after a long day on the water!

Great property, Allyson at Beaver Lake Vacation Rentals was amazing!

Everything was great. If there were any complications it’s that we couldn’t get a dock for our boat on the property. There was a marina close that worked out.

This house was perfect for us. The neighbors were great- they even gave us corn to feed the friendly deer feet away from the back door. Great motorcycle parking.

The location is perfect, the lake is beautiful and clean, the accommodations are comfortable-even if a little dated, and the down time was exactly what was needed. We spent four night here in early August with our four children ages 12-17. Most of our time was spent down at the lakeside or relaxing in the cabin. The A/C worked well and kept us cool through the heat. There was plenty to watch on the TVs downstairs (the upstairs TV only has cable). We would definitely recommend this cabin as a getaway anytime :D

Stayed at this property for the second year in a row and would highly recommend.

My boys went for a fishing trip and stayed in this home. They were very pleased with the house and how well the kitchen was stocked. It was a much needed break for them to relax and this property was a great part of it. Thank you for sharing your home.

The house is close to water as we wished but can't really walk along the shore. And property is old - downstairs bedroom/bathroom doors don't latch, 1 door is peeling, can't access closet because of nightstand location so no place to hang clothes. That bathroom tub needs recaulking, the towels are thin/cheap, the rugs look shabby. In the living room, it's difficult to pull clothes out of dryer due to closet door. Back porch looks like it has rotting areas or weak areas needing repair. You can’t access a drawer by the dishwasher or one by the stove without opening the dishwasher or stove. This could be a great little place with a small amount of investment.

Great little get away
Communication from pre booking throughout our stay was outstanding. Cabin was decorated in a retro early 80s vibe 😉 and couldn’t have been cleaner. Really enjoyed having my coffee on the rear deck as the sun came up over the lake. Would highly recommend staying here as long as you don’t conflict with the weeks I want to book it.

Wonderful experience on beautiful lake!
This property was very clean and had a wonderful porch on a very shaded lot with gorgeous lake view. Allison was a very welcoming and responsive host and made us feel very welcome and attended too. My family would highly recommend this treasure.

Sister trip
Great property! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The best part was that it’s right on the lake and such an easy walk, no drop offs, just a gentle slope. The deck had plenty if seating and a nice lake view. We didn’t use the community pool (which has a small daily fee) but it was only a block away from the property. The property manager called me the day before our scheduled visit and was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. Checking in and out couldn’t have any easier. We all enjoyed our stay.

Comfy cabin on beautiful Beaver Lake!!
This home was amazing! Everything our family needed. Big house with plenty of space. Huge deck to BBQ and enjoy the outstanding colored of the sunsets and sunrises! Great, quiet neighborhood to walk the dogs. We even saw a momma and her brand her fawn a couple of times. Our property manager was wonderful and so easy to work with. We highly recommend staying here!

Perfection
Everything was great! Even when Mother Nature decided to Grace us with unexpected snow, Allison, one of the managers responded ASAP at 7:45 in the morning. It was our check out day and we needed further instructions along with a plan if we couldn’t get out.
No issues, just a beautiful property.
Thank you!

Great home on the lake.
The home is on a nice, quiet street on the lake. The property had everything we needed and was very clean when we checked in. It was very nice to sit and relax on the porch looking out to the lake. And it was very pleasant to have breakfast on the porch. There was a little confusion when checking in, but that was my fault. Karen sent proper check in instructions when accepting the reservation request. However, I forgot those instructions and used the instructions VRBO sent, which are incorrect. Karen promptly helped me get checked in, so make sure to use her instructions rather than those sent by VRBO. We had a great time and would stay here again when in the area.

Second Stay
Clean, comfy and a convenient location... coupled with this cabin also being dog-friendly -- allowing us to bring and keep a close watch on our 14-year old canine companion -- made this rental a perfect fit for our needs. All of this -- with a lovely lake view, too -- made this cabin a very easy place to rent again. Thanks for another lovely stay. Our first review covers the details.

Quaint, Cozy & Convenient
This quaint and cozy lakefront cabin served as a temporary "home base" for me and Hubs, while we worked on our own cabin located just across the street. We cooked two meals a day and found the kitchen to be a well-organized space. Though this was more of a work getaway than a true vacation, it was super nice to come back to the cabin each evening -- to just rest and relax, and gaze out of the floor-to-ceiling windows that span the dining and living areas; Which sort of felt like tuning into our very own Beaver Lake nature show -- Woodpeckers and other birds, squirrels as well as many deer romping across the property in search of food. Never turned on the real television once. I close by adding that we really enjoyed the cabin's quintessential, well-preserved 1960's decor -- we felt transported back in time, to days when we visited our in-laws at their sixties vintage lakefront cabin. Two more words: Well done.

Quick getaway to check out the Beaver Lake area
We took a quick trip to the Beaver Lake area to check it out for a possible relocation in the near future. The house is in a beautiful location with fantastic lake views. Because we went in February we didn’t get to enjoy the lake itself, but can see how it would be a great time during the summer.

Lakeside charm
Quaint lodging in the woods and by the beach. Great hiking trails not far away! We enjoyed nature right out of the front door!

Good getaway in the woods
Great place to stay and relax, go walking through trees/etc. Sitting on the back deck, grilling and relaxing is what we were looking for, and that's what we got.

Late Summer Getaway
We have been to the Garfield area campgrounds several times in the rv. The area is very nice. This time we decided to leave the rv home and stay in a lake house. This 1960’s vintage lakefront home was very nice. Very clean, kitchen very functional, bathrooms nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for us all. We had very good weather for most of the two weeks, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the spacious deck well into the evening. It was very cool to hear all of the cackling of the bugs at night. We would definitely consider renting this property again. Thanks Allyson for everything.

Calming Lake House Get a way from Covid
Enjoyable, comfortable home on the lake. Had a great time chilling to nature on the dead end of street. Loved the sunrises and sunsets over the water. So very calming in the days of Covid.

Great Place to Stay on Beaver Lake
This is a nice older home with all the comforts you could possibly ask for.

Poor communication- DO NOT USE DOCK!
The main issue with our stay was the communication we received (or didn’t receive) from the property manager. The check in process is antiquated and clunky. The check in process frustrating, unfortunately setting the tone for the first half of our vacation. The property was decent, outdated, poor air conditioning upstairs, although a great location on the water, and the house has everything you NEED, no extras. The property managers go to great lengths to mandate you DO NOT USE THE DOCK! Threatening you with multiple posted signs throughout the house that if you do set foot on the dock you will forfeit your trip without refund. Overall we enjoyed our stay, could have been better, Beaver Lake is beautiful!

Great location, right on the water
It’s hard to find a beaver lake property that is so close to the water. We brought our kayaks and SUP and played in the water all week! Great for kids and families. Appliances were a bit outdated but we thought the house worked well for the price! Would definitely recommend this house.

Great place on the lake !!
Walking to the lake was little rough plus it was hard to park a boat with all the rock. Love the wildlife every morning and the afternoon. The upstairs was little bit warm and no shower in the bathroom was a problem. Overall great house it was very quite.
