A 5 min walk to the Quicksilver 6 Pack Superchair on Peak 9 or straight away to town allows everyone freedom of movement with no need for "meet-up schedules". Buses or gondolas are not needed, but they are available. I don't skimp on supplies, no one want's to come and buy a box of 30 Trash Bags and start shopping for Toilet Paper for a 5 day vacation. The Chalet is loaded with Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Laundry Soap, Bounce Dryer Sheets, some Spices, Coffee Filters, Morning Caffeine Starter Kit if you arrive late and yes... Trash Bags and a bottle of Red Wine.
Check-In and Check-Out is contactless and on-site! Cleaned to CDC standards with high quality linens and towels. The beds are also new with memory foam mattresses so you won't be sleeping on a lumpy mess. (Guest King is not Memory Foam, but new)
Free High-Speed WiFi (800Mbps & unlimited connections) is complemented by a 75" 4k HD Smart TV w/ a Soundbar in the Living Room as well as Smart HD TV's in both Bedrooms. (75" - Netflix, ESPN+, Hulu, Disney+, Prime, HBO)

Kirk is an excellent host. He was always available to provide information and respond to questions. He provided a comprehensive packet on the property, amenities and instructions. Access to the unit was easy and my family had a great vacation. The unit was modern, clean and stocked with everything we needed.
We have 3 daughters ages 5-11. We all found the unit to be perfect, including the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. We all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after skiing.
There is a convenience store located next door to the condo which was great for odds and ends/snacks/water. The town of Breck is a very short walk to restaurants and the supermarket. In addition the walk to the mountain was also convenient.
Overall a great stay, highly recommend and we hope to return!

Wow, what a great vacation! Kirk went above and beyond in his communication to make sure we had the best vacation possible! From the restaurant recommendations to suggesting where we rent ski equipment (which was so convenient and easy) we were able to walk easily to the lift everyday. The house was fully equipped. We enjoyed our complimentary wine and our kids loved the hot chocolate welcome gift by the fireplace the first night! Thanks again for a memorable vacation

We just loved this condo. Kirk was a great host and made everything super easy. Private hot tub was wonderful. Short .3 mile walk to the base of Peak 9. Downtown close for shopping and restaurants too. We'll come back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was extremely clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Kirk was excellent in communicating with us and we enjoyed the nice bottle of wine he left for us upon our arrival. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed Summit Chalet! The owners thought of everything to make our stay was comfortable and cozy. The condo is very well appointed. We especially appreciated the humidifiers and private outdoor hot tub on the deck. The owners went above and beyond to assure we had an excellent stay. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Rootstalk restaurant is a must!

We had the most amazing time! We made memories that we will never forget. Kirk was by far the most outstanding host anyone could ask for. His communication is unparalleled; he goes above and beyond to be helpful in every capacity.
The condo was very clean and the checking in process was seamless. The location is wonderful to be able to walk to the slopes and to town. It was convenient to be able to leave our cars parked for the entire trip.

Our stay at Kirk’s was above and beyond expectations. We have stayed in many rentals but the accommodations in this chalet were top notch across the board. On top of that, Kirk provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here.

We loved everything about our stay! The property was amazing and had everything we needed - private hot tub, comfortable beds and bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, large dining and living rooms (even with a shot ski!), easy parking, plus a shared common area with a fitness center and game room. And all of this within a close walking distance to the lifts, restaurants and bars, and shopping. We kept staying how much we didn’t want to leave and how we already want to book another stay.
In addition, Kirk’s communication was incredibly helpful - before, during, and after the stay. He really goes above and beyond and shows how much he wants to make sure his guests have a wonderful experience, and memories of a lifetime, which we did! Ask him anything and he will provide very helpful information and even customized recommendations.
We had a 2 day travel delay on the way home, and he stayed in contact all the way until we finally made it home and continued to provide very positive updates and tips!

This property couldn't have been more prefect. There was anything and everything we could ever need in this condo! Kirk was by far the most helpful host I have every had with a short term rental! His reference guide was so useful and helped us make the absolute MOST out of our trip!! We had 5 guests staying in this place and never felt as if we didn't have enough room. The hot tub was a big must on our list; and this tub was CLEAN, WORKING, and EASY to use/access.
Kirk sent emails every step of the way, sometimes more than 3x/week leading up reminding us to get ski lift tickets, where and when to get ski equipment rentals, as well as reminders to make restaurant reservations!! He even kept us updated on local events and news happening in the area.
I couldn't recommend this stay any more, 15/10 recommend. A million stars given!! We will definitely be coming back here ASAP!!

My husband drove to the Maggie each morning and dropped us off while he returned the car and walked on his own to meet us. The walk home from the Quicksilver Lift was rather difficult (for the kiddos)....but not unbearable. Having the garage was fantastic to store our skis/boots/etc each night. We walked to dinner each night in the Village - super convenient location for that! We will definitely plan to rebook when we come back to Breck!

Awesome place to stay in Breck!
First off, thanks to Kirk for the incredible communication before, during, and after our stay! I have probably stayed at 8 different VRBO condos and homes in the last 10 years, and this was certainly one of, if not the cleanest, most well appointed place I have stayed in Breck.
I mean...smart TV's in the bedrooms and living room, wireless phone charges all over, Egyptian cotton towels that were so good I had to take a photo of the tag! The location was great! We stored our ski gear with a rental outfit Kirk recommended at the bottom of the mountain...you can (with a good start down the mountain) ski right up to within 100' of the ski rental place, put on your walking shoes, and its just a short couple of blocks or so back to the condo. We walked everywhere we went as you are only a couple of blocks from downtown.
Kirk, thanks again for such a memorable stay...we will definitely return!

Fantastic place & owner
Our stay was great before we even got there. Kirk was well prepared and provided tons of great information. He was happy to answer questions as well. The condo was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable, and the hot tub was nice. The bottle of wine and snacks waiting when we got there were a nice touch. The location was an easy walk to restaurants and shops, and to the lift. We only used the car to travel to another mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone interested in a great place at Breckenridge. Again, the icing on the cake was the communication from a GREAT owner.

Great experience
We really enjoyed our time in Breckenridge and specifically at the Summit Chalet. The accommodations were as described. The unit was nice and clean. The host was very communicative. Plenty of room for our family of four. We debated whether to walk from the unit to the ski lift with ski boots on or change into the boots at the lodge. We opt'd to try walking in the ski boots and it was fine...it was nice to avoid the lodge completely and just go right to the lift line. We would definitely rent this unit again in the future.

Fantastic place, excellent location and great owner
We were very happy with everything about this rental. My family and I stayed here over New Years (2 adults, 3 teens and 1 eleven year old). We fit perfectly. The 4 kids slept in the bedroom with the 3 beds and my wife and I took the master bedroom.
The location was ideal…we were a few minutes walk to Peak 9 lifts and to downtown. The lift was close enough that everyone walked in their ski boots and carried their skis without complaint.
The owner’s communication was perfect. He provided all the info needed in a very timely manner. There was a snow storm approaching the area on the day of our arrival into Denver. Kirk notified me of the storm and advised we should get to Breckenridge as soon as we can to avoid the worst of the storm. This was great advice because we did plan to spend the day in Denver. He also suggested upgrading our car rental to all-wheel drive because of the storm, which I’m glad we did.
The extra, personalized touches Kirk added to our stay were a pleasant surprise.
We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Spring Break at Breck
This property was great and as advertised. I have been traveling to Summit County for 30 years. This was the most immaculate property that I have stayed at. It was "eat off the floor" clean.
It is very close within walking distance to the town of Breck as well as the base of Peak 9.
The gentleman that owned the property was extremely communicative. I had a lot of questions before and during the trip. Kirk responded almost immediately to every question on his personal cell phone. He even took the time to text me during the week several time to make sure we were doing ok. He was by FAR the best host that I have ever had at any property over the years. I would definitely give his property 5 Stars and I would highly reccomend it to evreyone thinking of a vacation in Breck.

Kirk was amazing to work with! A major storm was coming in that was suppose to drop 60” of snow and close down passes. He called a few days before the trip and offered us a free night if we could come early and beat the storm. ❤️ In a year when times are tough he was very kind and generous!
The condo was spectacular! The condo was very clean, had amazing beds, and the hot tub was an added bonus.
The lifts are a small walk, but not bad for adults or older children. If you have littles just bring a wagon or plan on leaving your skis at the base.
The condo was within walking distance to shopping and amazing restaurants. We will be back!

Amazing - all about the details!
The Summit Chalet was the perfect home base for our family to enjoy Breckenridge. An easy walk to the quicksilver lift and mere steps away from town. Beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and by far the most attentive host I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. The condo has a well-stocked kitchen, with many cleaning supplies already in place. Our family enjoyed the private hot tub and fireplace after a chilly day on the slopes. Absolutely perfect!

Thanksgiving in Breckenridge
Our family had a fun, comfortable, memorable stay here. The parking was easy- and in a garage!, the condo access was convenient- no keys to lose!, the condo was clean, furnishings are up to date and comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and organized. We had a lovely welcome from Kirk and Sharon since it was both of daughters’ birthdays. We especially liked the new recliner chairs (since we don’t have those) that didn’t look like recliners. The beds are very comfortable, closets are spacious with plenty of hangers and extra pillows and blankets. Clean, easy to use, large humidifiers for each room made a huge difference in keeping the air comfortable! The under floor heating kept the whole unit warm. Having a beautiful fire with the touch of a switch created a great atmosphere. The two best parts were the location - nice walk into town and to ski lifts, and the private hot tub, which we enjoyed each evening, with a mulled cider watching the full moon rise!! How much better can it get?

Amazing location and luxurious amenities!
We had an amazing time at the chalet and are so glad we chose this unit. The location was perfect and all the amenities top notch - so much better than usually found in a rental. The bedding and towels were super soft and the living room furniture so comfortable I seriously want to replicate it at my home. It looks beautiful but is also super comfortable.
Everything was very clean and the hot tub immaculate. The view isn’t great from the unit but is made up for by the walkability to trails and the town Just 2 minutes away. I would recommend this unit and plan to return next year.

We had an amazing time at the chalet and are so glad we chose this unit. The location was perfect and all the amenities top notch - so much better than usually found in a rental. The bedding and towels were super soft and the living room furniture so comfortable I seriously want to replicate it at my home. It looks beautiful but is also super comfortable. Everything was very clean and the hot tub immaculate. The view isn’t great from the unit but is made up for by the walkability to trails and the town Just 2 minutes away. I would recommend this unit and plan to return next year.

The Condo was exactly as advertised and in great shape. What really made the difference was the communication and recommendations by Kirk, particularly when it came to hiking and whitewater rafting as well as how to adjust to the altitude.
