We lived here for a month in July and Aug. It was an interesting experience of living in a cute top floor of a Victorian house in the beautiful Pacific Heights. The house was clean. Plentiful towels and linens are provided. The host responded promptly. One bedroom is a kind of Loft but my daughters just loved it. The veranda had a good view of SF downtown. I enjoyed the view in the afternoon shade or the morning fog. SF during our stay was frequently foggy and we needed to turn on heater in night. It was a bit hot in the afternoon. The steep steps make it difficult to go out and come in. You have to carry keys and be careful not to be locked out (leaving without keys)
Great location and safe/quiet neighborhood. Walkable distance to Presideo, Crissy Field, Cow Place, Fillmore street, even Japan Town. The famous Lyon podium is just 10 min walk away. Buses to downtown stop a few blocks away Or you can walk to Presideo Lombard gate to get on the free Presideo shuttle to downtown or inside Presideo. I brought a car. You can find a parking within 2 block radius anytime but there is a 2-hour parking limit. I got a parking permit to avoid 2-hour parking limit but I saw cars parked days without any permit. Be careful about the cleaning day. Each side of a street has different cleaning day. I got a ticket ($97) for parking the other side of the street thinking the cleaning day/hour is same. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy.

Spacious, comfortable, well kept with new appliances, washer/dryer, convenient to restaurants, stores, Trader Joe’s etc. Wonderfully responsive landlord. Couldn’t ask for a better condo.

Very clean, comfortable and modern with great views
I had a great stay in Christopher's newly remodeled apartment. The apartment was very clean and had some great high-end amenities that are brand new, including a big bathroom with a nice glass and tile shower, completely new kitchen and laundry and confortable beds.
I would definitely stay again.

Everything a little family needs
Quiet oasis in one of San Francisco's most beautiful neighborhoods. Disregard previous reviews about small kitchen--both it and the bathroom have been newly renovated, and are both spacious and very nice. Ideal for long stays--there's plenty of storage for luggage and clothes, and feels like a real home away from home. Also, the (single flight of) steep stairs were not even a slight issue for us, or my two toddlers, and were well worth it for the perched-on-top-of-the-city view from the little balcony. Watch the fog roll in in the evening, or the magnolia trees bloom below.

Wonderful location. Great host.
The apartment had every thing we needed and more. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful properties. 2 blocks walk to a bus stop straight into the tourist areas but very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood.
Christopher is a great host who made sure we were well set up before we arrived, and helped us during our stay also.

Nice house
The house is near a bus stop and located in a very convenient place. There are also a cafe and a restaurant in the neighborhood. There is also nice kitchen, so it's comfortable to cook and eat by oneself. The view from the balcony is also nice. A back garden also seems to be a small forest and it's so nice. We were happy because we could have time comfortably at this wonderful house. We had many nice memories in San Francisco.

Wonderful peaceful location
A wonderful top-floor loft in a great peaceful neighbourhood. Renters should be aware that the stairs are steep, so not for those unwilling or unable to get up steep stairs. Two spacious bedrooms and a very comfortable living room. Bathroom is a shower-room, but plenty of room. Kitchen is small, and I would not plan to be making 3 meals a day in it, but it does have everything you need. The best thing is the location, charming street, walking to Fillmore with bards, restaurants and shopping. Ditto JapanTown.

PAC Heights is the best!
Great apartment, great location. The stairs are not for everyone, but we really enjoyed this place. I will stay again.

Nice quiet place right in the city
I stayed here during the Dreamforce conference and was very happy to be a 10-15 minute Uber ride from the Conference, but away from the chaos. The apartment was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who has trouble navigating stairs due to the third floor location, but that wasn't an issue at all for me.

Great location with view of city
Our family of four adults was very comfortable in the apartment. The owner was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. The apartment has a large living/dining room with a balcony, functional kitchen, steeply angled ceilings in the hallway, and a back room that serves as a second bedroom. We enjoyed sitting outside every morning and late afternoon. We never lacked for hot water in the shower. The kitchen is stocked with all you might need to cook in but with so many fabulous restaurants why would you. Try Sweet Maple for breakfast, Sweet Lime and Burma Superstar for dinner. In the Union Square area check out the Pagen Idol for yummy cocktails. Overall Christopher's apartment made for a nice respite after long days of walking the city. We appreciated the little extras—Hotel size toiletries in the bathroom, extra coffee pods, plenty of towels, and a nice casserole dish. Thanks to our friendly host for a memorable stay.

Peaceful and convenient
The premises are located in a peaceful neighborhood which is not far from neighborhood conveniences a short walk away. The owner clearly has a lot of experience hosting guests, as everything we needed was available and there was no need to contact him even once. The apartment is an attic that has a lot of room for our 5 people, even considering the angled walls that protrude into the space. You do have to watch your head sometimes! The small terrace in back overlooks part of the city and there are even stairs to the very small backyard which we never went to. The carpeted stairs to the attic were a little tricky since they were winding and didn't provide very much space for your feet. Older travelers may need to be careful since the carpeting can make them slippery. The neighbors on the lower floors were very quiet to the point that I wasn't even sure anyone else was ever home as I didn't hear nor see them. Each apartment has a separate doorway once you enter the house. The toilet worked ok each time and didn't get blocked up, but it had the annoying habit of hardly ever flushing any toilet paper down the first time. Sometimes the paper, even if very little, would just float at the top for a few flushes which always worried us. Parking can be a challenge, but no different than most SF streets. Weekends were much easier. Internet and TV worked well.
There was little communication with the host before and during our stay. Little was needed and he was accommodating for a later checkout . The neighborhood and location were great. But next time we stay in an attic when temperatures are over 100 degrees outside as they were when we stayed there, we will surely regret it LOL! Not the owners fault, but all the fans in the world weren't going to make us comfortable in the attic when SF breaks temperature records! Going from the attic just to the next lower floor made a huge difference! It was cooler outside than in the apartment. But again, can't expect the owner to furnish air conditioning when it never gets that hot.
We would stay here again.

Nice place in a good area
We thought this was a very good place for the money and location. It was basic inside, but everything was clean, easy, and had all items we needed for our stay. There were also many blow up beds so everyone had there own place to sleep. We only rented a car for one of the days we were there, and I was pleased that finding parking on the street was pretty easy. There were some nice areas we could walk to and it was easy to pick up an Uber to go anywhere in the city. Christopher was easy to reach with questions, especially by text, which I really like. There are quite a few stairs to get to the top. That didn't bother us, but if you have difficulty with stairs, this might not be your type of place.

Wonderful San Fran Victorian!
Our family had a wonderful time in SF...Christopher's place was the perfect location and was so spacious! The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was clean and well laid out for our family of four. The views off the back deck and the private garden were an added bonus. It was also within walking distance of many neighborhoods we enjoyed visiting...about 2-2.5 miles from the popular places. We would recommend Christopher's place to anyone looking to spend time in SF with the hopes of experiencing the city like a local. We would absolutely LOVE to stay here again when we get the chance to return. Many thanks again, Christopher, for sharing your place!!

Great location!!
We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights and the location is wonderful! A very short ride by uber to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 30, China Town, etc. This apartment is walking distance to some groceries stores, and very nice restaurants. The apartment is very confortable and it has everything you need. We really enjoyed the balcony with nice views of the city. It is a quiet neighborhood and we were even able to park our rental car in the same street! The host is very nice, we weren't able to meet but he responded all my emails very quickly! Thank you Christopher!!

Great place for a small family visiting SFO
I stayed here with my wife and two boys (5 and 7). The boys shared the queen bed in the bedroom and my wife and I used the queen bed in the other "room". The 2nd room isn't a closed off bedroom - it's at the opposite end of the apartment from the living area but was very comfortable. We had the whole top level of the house. The boys enjoyed playing monopoly and cards. We didn't cook, but we did have breakfast in the house and made lunches and had everything we needed.
Bathroom was clean with great hot water (often not the case).
We enjoyed having a glass of wine at the end of the day on the balcony taking in the view over the city and watching the humming birds whizz around.
We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. 2 blocks from muni and a cheap uber (usually around $12) to many of the sights like Golden Gate Park, Presidio, Fisherman's Wharf etc. TV and internet worked great.
Very happy and would recommend for a couple or small family.

Wonderful !
My husband and i recently had the pleasure of staying in this adorable apt for a week with our two grandchildren. We all agree that it was perfect in every way. The neighborhood was charming: walking distance to wonderful restaurants shops and the parks were abundant. The space itself was great for our group. Cozy, homelike and well stocked with games and books we all enjoyed. We hope to visit again, soon.

Terrific experience. A must stay property.
We have stayed at this property twice, the first time for a month, the second time for two months. That in itself should be testimony to our pleasure in renting and being there. Christopher, the host, is friendly, welcoming, helpful, and never intrusive. The apartment is roomy, airy and comfortable. As for the neighborhood, we’ve never lived in a more enjoyable urban locale. It truly has everything, from the best bakery in town, gym, library, two movie houses, food shopping, many good restaurants, and bookstores. It has easy access to the city’s public transportation, which gets you wherever you want to go fast and cheaply. [Get a clipper card] Having a car would be both a nuisance and un-necessary. And, it’s a lovely walk down to the Bayside. You’ll want to stay here.

Wonderful location
Terrific location, easy access to all points in SF. Host very accommodating and quick communicator to ensure we had best experience. Also pretty close to some good food and coffee. Balcony gets morning sun, perfect for coffee. Bright and airy top floor of a house.
Steeper stairs are like everywhere else in SF, as are funny angles of the roof lines - so caution if mobility a major issue.

This apartment was so clean and tastefully-furnished. The owner even provided suggestions as to what to do and where to go for our four day stay there. I would recommend this historic place for anyone wishing to be in a quiet location right in the heart of SF. We took buses everywhere and did not miss having a car.

I loved to stay in this spacious, personally furnished and welcoming place on the top floor of a beautiful, historic building in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood in walking distance to Golden Gate Bridge, Chrissy Fields and Palace of Fine Arts but also close to grocery stores, boutiques and busses. The apartment has everything a traveller would wish. The host is very nice. I would definitely recommend the place and I look forward to staying there again soon.
