About this house rental

Only an hour drive north of Milwaukee and south of Green Bay. Experience all Sheboygan County has to offer. Kohler golf courses, biking and hiking, charter fishing, a variety of restaurants just to name a few of the many adventures available.

This quaint 3 bedroom, 1.75 baths home is located on a quiet, partially wooded lot near a park for children to play. Enjoy a quick walk to beautiful Lake Michigan for an early morning sunrise on the beach. Cool summer breezes carry through open bedroom windows from the lake.

Enjoy stunning sunsets from the terraced back deck while sipping refreshing beverages with family and friends. There is plenty of room to lounge, inside and out.

A gas grill and a kitchen full of cookware provide all you need to prepare your own meals (some spices available). It is a short drive to town for a famous Wisconsin local Friday Fish Fry or a quick walk to the neighborhood restaurant. Chase the chill away evenings with a natural wood fireplace while watching a movie or just enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book. Enjoyed our stay. Even though it was a residential area, we felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Deer came right up to the living room window to check if we were comfy. I appreciate the extra amenities provided by our host, kitchen staples and, oh my gosh, enough TP to last our stay. That has not always been our experience with other hosts.

Ideally situated away from the noise and bustle of the city with access to a lake beach and A fabulous supper club. We loved having breakfast on the deck with the deer in the yard. It was nice to have room for short visits from family and have access to a washer and dryer

Stayed here with family and dog for Indy weekend. Location was perfect. Beautiful lake michigan beach for our dog to play. House was nice with stocked firewood for the cozy fireplace. Typical wusconsin cabin casual and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked.

This home is in such a great location. The morning walks on the beach, combined with sitting on the porch under the pines while deer walk by make it such a restful place. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for your stay.

It's a lovely cabin. Only a two block walk to Lake Michigan. The area is very quiet. Several deer walking the area and right through the yard. Our dog was quite intrigued. The kitchen is well equipped. Our son and his wife live in the area and came by to cook us a lovely dinner. They really liked it. We enjoyed drinks on the deck in the afternoon sun listening to the birds. We were looking for a good place to get away from the chaos that had been happening at home. We picked the right place.

My mom, husband, 3 boys (4, 4, 6) had a wonderful time. From walking down to the lake (5 mins) and frolicking on the waves to enjoying some of the sights (Bookworm Gardens, Kohler Andrae) to lazing around watching a movie. We had everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry before heading home and no huge check-outcleaning list! We would def consider renting again.

Nice neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Short drive to a ton of beaches. Some great bakeries in town (Johnston’s and City) and nice restaurants along the river.

Cottage is very clean and really comfortable. Perfect for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning at the beach a block away, then coffee on the deck, watching the deer. Such a peaceful place!! Lots to do nearby... literally everything was within a 15 minute drive. It honestly was hard to leave. We'd absolutely rent this house again, as well as recommend it to anyone planning to visit Sheboygan.

Incredibly well stocked property with ample amenities. Easy to get to, off street parking, nice outdoor space. We had six adults, one 18 month old with us, and our dog, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Loved the short walk to Lake Michigan, and the beach area is beautiful. Safe neighborhood and quiet. Saw deer and other wildlife just like the description says! The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. Instructions on getting in to the property were easy to understand. So glad we got to stay at this lovely property!

A lovely, homey cottage in the woods. Nice places to walk the dog, small nearby beach, very close to many WI parks and good restaurants in Sheboygan. Would definitely stay again when we are up this way!

Everything about this cute little cabin was perfect! The house is adorable. It is decorated beautifully. And it is stocked like it’s meant to be lived in! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only problem…it wasn’t long enough.

Relaxing family getaway

This house was the perfect place for a little R&R. We saw deer right outside our window every day, walked to the beach for a morning stroll, and went to local restaurants for wonderful meals. The wood burning fireplace was perfect for the cooler nights and everything was in working condition. We walked to the park and beach with the younger kids and even walked to dinner at a nice family restaurant down the road. Such a cozy place, would definitely recommend again for a family weekend!

We enjoyed our visit. The owner has done so much to make the place welcoming and accommodating. The place was larger than the pictures show. There is a bathroom connected to the master bedroom that has a toilet, sink and shower and there is a large closet. Each bedroom had plenty of closet and dresser space and extras like bedside tables and convenient outlets. The kitchen had everything you would need. We enjoyed daily walks to the lake and around the neighborhood. It was a short trip to any place we wanted to go in Sheboygan.

This cabin has an excellent location between the state park and the town of Sheboygan. The quiet semi private streets proved excellent for young school aged kids. The house itself had a smart layout that helped it live "bigger" than the square footage or pictures suggest. Ideal for 1-3 couples with young children.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The Clausings were responsive to all of our questions. We loved having meals on the deck, being surrounded by trees, and the home's proximity to Lake Michigan. We highly recommend the home and would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet location where we could relax and enjoy nature, but not far from the other things we wanted to do and see in the area. A stone's throw from beautiful Kohler/Andrea park and the lakefront. So much more comfortable and convenient than a hotel! Looking forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed a really nice long weekend in this cabin. The property was clean and cute and was a great size for our family of two adults and two tweens. The fall color around the property was stunning, and it was fun to watch deer walk right past the windows. The fireplace made for a cozy escape from the chilly fall rain, and Kohler-Andrae State Park is close enough that we were able to enjoy the sunrise from the gorgeous Dunes Cordwalk. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time in the cozy little house near the lake. We had a fire, worked on a puzzle, made delicious meals and took walks near the house. It was a joy to get away from the city, drink in some fall color and just relax! The house was a perfect size for 4 adults (one couple in the master bedroom and the two single folks with their own bedrooms). Thanks for a nicely socked kitchen and for thinking through everything to support our visit!

This property is tucked away in a quiet wooded area with lots of wildlife, a brief walk to the lake and very accessible Short drive to restaurants and the grocery store, the home is very well kept and stocked with just about anything you would need, very pleased with our stay and the owner Claude as well! We will definitely be back, infact already planning our next trip!

Thank you for the hospitality. The cabin was quaint and in a nice location. We were able to spend family time on the deck cooking out and enjoying the deer who walked right up to us and to the windows. The bedrooms were perfect for our family and the living areas were nice. Those who wanted to spend family time sat in the living room, while those who needed some privacy used the sitting area. The many other amenities were awesome. We know we don't need to pack as much next time we plan to stay there. Yes, we plan to be back soon!

Great location in a quiet, wooded neighborhood close to the beach. My kids enjoyed seeing deer almost daily. There is a playground and sculpture garden close by. We also loved the wood burning fireplace. The furniture can use some updating but otherwise this is a great cabin. We had no issues during our 2 week stay.

Very clean. Loved the location, a couple blocks from the Lake and a couple miles to the State Park. Be sure to check out the short nature trail / sculpture garden about a quarter mile away.
