We loved the beautiful views, spacious living, the hot tub and family room was a blast. We definitely look forward to returning and seeing those deck views in the fall. Kitchen and upper living room were great for gamily meals. Love the big dining table.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and had so many things to enjoy in the game room. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable! The view from the deck was breath taking!
We were so sad to leave!

The home is very large, well stocked, and with beautiful views. The owner was very responsive. We had one problem during our stay - several interconnected smoke alarms went off loudly several times one evening that was upsetting to our 2 year old grandson. We could not reach the malfunctioning alarm without a ladder - which we did not have. The owner responded to an email request within 30 minutes and came over in the evening, isolated the problem, and fixed it. I really appreciate having an owner that responsive to the needs of his guests.

My fiancée and I were getting married in Asheville (from Durham) and considering both our families live out of state, we decided to spend the week after the wedding with our family in Asheville. We were so happy we chose this place as our “home” for the wedding weekend and week after! It had everything we could need and more. The view was incredible. The house was so spacious and comfortably fit all 12 of us (including some children). It felt removed from the city enough but still was only a 15-20 minute drive into downtown Asheville. There was plenty of food and grocery options nearby and only about a 40mg drive to get onto the Blue Ridge parkway. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for any groups traveling to the area! We hope we have a reason to book again in the future!

Seven of us enjoyed a long weekend in Asheville, and this home was exactly what we wanted for our "mountain getaway." The house is very roomy and everyone could be comfortable in different parts of the house.
Having 3 full bathrooms for 7 women was a critical reason for choosing this rental home.
The woodsy setting is quiet, with beautiful distant views of the river and mountains. But it's only 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville for restaurants and shopping.
We didn't use a lot of the generous amenities, such as the hot tub and all the kitchen equipment. But it would be great to return and stay longer to take advantage of all the items provided by the homeowner.
The main bedroom with King bed is ENORMOUS, with extra large bathroom and closet.
All the beds were comfortable.
Easy keyless entry with keypad at the front door.
The homeowner was great communicating with us before and during our stay, and we appreciated the extra help on our final day.
Nice to have some basics in the kitchen pantry, e.g., coffee, tea, hot cocoa, some spices.
Wifi was great.
There are lots of good choices for large home rentals in Asheville, but you can't go wrong with this particular home! Highly recommend!

The house was great and communication was excellent with the owners. We gathered here for our family reunion (6 adults and 5 kids). It was perfect for us!

Have a medium to large size group staying in Asheville? Look no further. The host gave excellent directions and no one in our group had any trouble finding the cabin. Only 15 minutes to downtown was a huge plus and made planning the day easy. With four large bedrooms and a loft there's plenty of space for all guest to feel comfortable. We especially enjoyed waking up with a hot cup of coffee and spending the morning on deck taking in the mountain views. The cleanliness of the cabin was also a plus, the place was absolutely spotless when we showed up. Overall 10/10 experience.

This location was perfect for a mountain getaway. It was the perfect distance from the city while still feeling secluded. I would definitely recommend.

Our running group had the BEST time in this house! The living room had plenty of room for 11 of us to spread out while enjoying a fire inside and the mountain views outside. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen was extremely well-equipped with utensils and random spices we forgot, and it was so easy to get to downtown Asheville whenever we needed. The hot tub was the cherry on top (especially for the runners!) - we absolutely LOVED our stay! Thanks, Georgie!

This property is in a great location, away from the fray of hectic life, yet in close proximity to family hikes, a grocery store and Asheville if one desires to go into town. Very spacious for our family gathering. We prepared all of our meals while there. Had to purchase ice as ice makers were not working but property owner was quick to respond to this issue. The view is great and we were able to sit on the deck a couple of times on nice days.
Appreciate the ead

We could not have had a better stay! The house was perfect for our group of 9 girls with lots of private room but several larger areas for us to hang out. The location was so close to downtown asheville too which made it easy to get back and forth. The views were beautiful!

Well-situated for access to Asheville. Overall enjoyable stay. All bases covered. John took care of any property maintenance promptly and efficiently. Parking was quite sufficient for the three cars of our group of nine. Temperature control was a little tricky for the three different levels but not a deal breaker. Lighting and A-V controls took a little time to master. Property Management met all our requests. Bottom line: pleasant stay

Lots of space, incredibly close to downtown Asheville. Very easy to get Ubers, etc. Easy check-in and no issues throughout our stay. We even realized we forgot a charger and were blessed to be able to borrow one from the lady working in the home office attached to the house. Plenty of parking for our big group. Would definitely stay again!

This was a large house with 3 floors and very roomy. This house had several fireplaces, including a large stone fireplace on main floor(beautiful). The beds are ok.In order for coffee pot to work, you have to add boiling water, an extra step. The house in general needs a maintenance update. My VBRO app wasn't working, so it made it hard to communicate. Manager is very nice. The owner, very nice.My husband met him.It had a pool table and hot tub which was nice. All in all,it was a great experience. Thanks guys!

Our group of 8 adults liked the place a lot. So convenient to Asheville yet had the away in the hills vibe. Spacious to the max and a wonderful view.

We stayed at this house because it was picturesque and quiet. The kids loved the hot tub after a day of sightseeing. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us without any overlap. The kitchen was well stocked and the drawers had any utensil that was needed. Close to the city and interstate for activities. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home and great location
Great views of surrounding mountains and skyline

House on top of a mountain, view is great. Ample space, but not clean, bugs and ants problem. Shoddy renovation, drainage problems in bathrooms, musty smell. Insufficient furniture in loft area. Deck screen broken, so screen not usable. No recycling instructions.
House looks impressive, but not as comfortable as expected.

Took the whole family including the dog for a four day Mountain getaway. This house was perfect! Had two teenagers that set up shop in the downstairs living area and occasionally let me join them for a game of pool. The dog enjoy the surrounding forest, and The restaurants and breweries of Asheville were just a quick Uber away.

We had a wonderful week here! This was the first time our family had been all in one place in 6 years, and it was perfect. Room for myself, two couples, one with a young child, and two single adults. The week ended with my son's wedding on Friday evening and we were able to have my daughter-in-law's family for dinner on Thursday very comfortably!

A fantastic property for a large family. Views from the deck are outstanding.

This house was roomy - plenty of space for relaxing and for kids to play. Well-stocked kitchen. Close enough (minutes away) to Asheville, but private enough for peace and quiet. Big deck with fabulous view. Owner very helpful. Highly recommend and all agreed we'd stay there again.

It Went well but it would be nice to meet the owner initially. The owner lives across the street and could have welcomed us. The house was well equipped and designed for larger families. We had a great time!

The perfect stay for a family vacation in Asheville
My family found the home and checked in with ease. We appreciated the cleanliness, amenities, and provided us with laundry detergent. My only recommendations would be lounging deck chairs that could see above the railing, and a mosquito candle. Everything else was PERFECT.

Perfect Choice
This property was a perfect choice for our family! We were in town to attend a wedding and the location was close to all places we needed to be - rehearsal dinner and wedding venue. This home provided so much space for all 10 of us and offered tons of privacy. Beautiful views from each balcony and the hot tub was an added bonus after our busy days. Highly recommend!

Spectacular views, excellent mountain vacation experience.
My 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren and I had ample accommodations, privacy, along with easy access to Asheville attractions. Just out far enough to feel “in the mountains “. Truly spectacular views from the very large deck and generous gathering room.

Not what we expected for the price.
Deck is splintery. We hesitated to walk on certain parts of it because boards were soft and sagging. Downstairs bathroom was disappointing. No towel racks at all. Everyone in the house complained about the cheap towels. You couldn't get dry. When we arrived at the house we found a hose running full blast on the bottom deck. My husband crawled around the side of the house to turn it off. Mountain view is the best part of this house.

Wonderful house, excellent management, in a great location
I am so pleased with my stay at this house. The views off the back deck are great! And the house fit my group of 10 adults comfortably. The first night a problem arose with the hot tub, but I alerted management and it was fixed by the next afternoon.
I would definitely come back again.

Overall good stay. We enjoyed the location and setting of the house, with plenty of privacy, good views, and wildlife around. The house could use some updating/maintenance typical of a well-used VRBO, but was fine for our group of 6 adults and 4 young kids. Regulating temperature in the house (mostly the loft) is a bit of a challenge, and I am not sure we ever fully figured out all of the TV controls.

Great views. Drive up to house in the dark is not for the faint of heart. Kitchen worked well for cooking meals. Water pressure was pretty low and lots of lights that were burnt out with very little additional lighting. Good location to drive to Asheville trails and activities.
